Comfortable property with good location

The description of the property was accurate. There was plenty of room to spread out and have your own space. The kitchen had plenty of cooking utensils, was roomy and had a comfortable eating area. The property is close to downtown and many hiking areas.

Great location but needs a little love

How to operate house lacking check in confusion patio rough recycle bin overflowing. House spacious well designed comfortable beds. In the end had a lovely stay.

Host was not available prior to check in so I had a very stressful time getting code to check in.

Trash bin outside was clear full no room for the little bit of trash we generated. There was a big stain on the carpet in the hallway. The location and beds were nice.

The condo was really nice. There was some frustration with our contact for the condo. I had to reach out to get check in information. My original email bounced back as email too full my text went unanswered. Only one (of my 3) texts were answered. I would stay here again and recommend it to others.

The condo was quiet and comfortable. Once suggestion is to eliminate the need to turn off the alarm upon entry. We spend time trying to find the alarm to turn it off. Finally the property owner told me it was turned off. Secondly, the sheet for the hide-a-bed in the 3rd bedroom did not fit the mattress. That was frustrating. Otherwise the stay was nice and convenient.

I showed up at the property and it was already in use. I spent hours on the phone between VRBO and the property managers and was still left hanging. Thankful I have family in area that put us up, but there is very little recourse if the property manager and VRBO don't communicate properly. Will have to be a really good deal from me to use VRBO moving forward, as there is not emergency plan that effectively can help you when your left standing at your property and there is already a tenant. Wish I could say they were helpful on the phone, but after a full refund, I pretty much had to sort out the rest of my 5 day stay by myself.

The location of this townhome is great and the check in process was easy. Nothing has been updated in this place since it was built at least 20+ years ago. There are broken tiles in the kitchen which is scary with a 10 month old crawling around. There are cabinets around the house that have string around them so they won’t swing open. The internet didn’t work for the first 2 days, when I text the person in charge I didn’t hear back for over a day. Usually it wouldn’t be important but I needed the internet for my baby monitor. When I finally got a response they said somehow the internet was cancelled a few days earlier and they would have it start back up again. They have boulders inside the house around the Master room king size bed which is probably to keep people from looking under the bed? Weird… There are spider webs in the kitchen that are the biggest spider webs I have ever seen in a house which I took pictures of. The bedding is old. The queen bed in the extra room has cheetah print sheets which are very old and the color is faded.

Awful!!

Renter beware!!!! This property is not as advertised!!! If I could give this property 0 stars, I would. First off, this property is advertised as part of the Southgate Villas, which is NOT true. We were expecting access to a pool & basketball/tennis court as specified in the listing. We learned quickly that there is no access to the pool at all. We also were yelled at by the manager at the Villas and were threatened to have the police called on us for trespassing because we were using the basketball court which is also advertised as part of the amenities and is also FALSE. It was a very embarrassing and frustrating experience for us and our 5 children to be put in that position and it was also VERY disappointing to not have access to a pool when we were expecting it. We absolutely would not have chosen this property knowing it didn't have a pool. The manager at the Villas told us they have had so many issues with people from this property using there facilities. Jumping fences to pools, being disrespectful to their guests etc. They are very upset about this and let us know it. We showed them the property ad and they confirmed that this property is not part of their community and the owner is FALSE ADVERTISING. The main hallway bathroom was not cleaned at all. There was feces on the toilet seat, the floor was dirty and the sink, counter and mirror had water spots showing very clearly it hadn't been cleaned. When the owner wouldn't send a cleaning crew to fix this, I unfortunately had to clean it myself. When I went to clean the shower/tub I learned that it did not drain well at all, making it unusable for our trip. The only shower we had to use for our family of 7 was the master shower which had the owners personal shampoo, razors, soap, body scrubbers, etc which was very unpleasant to shower with. So gross!! The ad also states that it has a pull out bed for sleeping. It does. It has 2. Both of which were broken and unusable. Two of our kids had to sleep on cushions and one on the couch. We woke each morning to random dead and live cockroaches throughout the place. We were told there would be access to the garage but the key that was left did not work for the garage door. The owner had to tell us where he hides his spare key so we could get in it. We had to search for it and dig it up to be able to get into the garage. The contact listed was no help and claims he didn't even know he was listed as contact. Horrible experience!

Kim, we sincerely apologize for the incorrect advertising on the listing regarding the pool. Unfortunately, when this property was being photographed, the photographer believed the pool across the street was an included amenity. We did, however, let you know immediately upon realizing the mistake that it was incorrect and you would not have access to a pool, so you were aware of the situation. Again, we sincerely apologize for that mishap on our part and we have revised the listing to reflect the accurate amenities. Regarding the pull-out bed, the front room formal coach makes into a bed by just removing the back cushions. A sleep number auto air bed is available in the closet and two sets of sleeping floor beds. This owner has been renting their home for several years and has never had any complaints regarding cleanliness or the furniture. We truly are sorry that your stay got off to a rocky start. We hope that the owner's generous offer of a complimentary stay at any of their other locations helps to make up for some of the inconvenience. Best, the Evolve Team

Great location

This was a great little house in a good location for event. There is a property management company that did not have good communication on how to access the unit. The yard is not kept up. We had to either dodge the shrubs growing completely over the walk path or walk through the knee-high grass. The place was clean but a little dated and could use a replacement of the carpet. We could only find two coffee cups and glasses were limited. Only one towel in the main bath and no washcloths at all could be found. I own and operate a vacation rental and we keep our place really stocked. Probably a few more of those items would be recommended. Beds were really comfy! Overall we enjoyed our stay just giving a few tips for the owners if they see that.

This property is exactly as listed, but even better. The price was great! It’s clean, big, and very close to town. We enjoyed the huge tv’s and the beds are very comfortable. Anything we needed, we jumped a couple miles over to Walmart. Very convenient location.

Aren't the beds supposed to be made and clean sheets put on them, because we had to wash the sheets and make the beds when we arrived?? It was a nice place to stay but its obvious that no one prepared it for guests. It was dirty and the amenities stated are inaccurate, there is no swimming pool or hot tub.

quiet stay

The property is in a good location and easy to find. There seemed to be no key code so the key was under the mat. Had to call the property magr. to get enough bedding for our group. (Problem solved). Had to check with property mgr for wi fi pass code. There were not clear instructions for TV and did not get that resolved. I spent time contacting property mgr and vrbo. Loose floor tiles. Dining chairs that needed the screws tighten . Shag area rug need some more vacuuming as there was children's small candies in the pile. We did have a lovey time in this quiet place.

Quiet and comfy with quick responses

Had a small set back but was quickly took an care of. Our stay here was very relaxing. Great for families! Beds are comfy and showers have good pressure. Didn’t hear the neighbors once. Kids all enjoyed our stay! We would definitely stay here again.
