My wife and I brought our daughter and her husband for 4 children, twins 9, 5 & 2 to visit nearby family for a week. It had everything we needed and many more items we didn't expect.

The place was beautiful and had wonderful views of the water. The trees were starting to change colors and it was gorgeous. We would love to come back and stay again.

Eagle Nest

The stairways were too much. The TV's are too high. More space is needed by the kitchen for a living room. Too much separation of guests. Not enough room to sit inside or furniture to sit in for a living room. It was clean and beds were good. Three thermostats are helpful for temperature control. Pleasant view inside and outside. Nice fire pit. House looks nice outside and inside. Three whole bathrooms offer privacy. Lake view was nice and the dock.

Lake,and view, house , location , all prefect . looking forward to my next trip here with grandkids or by my self .!!! Shallow water out front was great . Near by bike path was good .. we rented a pontoon and tube .and brought some bikes . Beds very comfortable, bathrooms a wonderful size . All you good ask for ! Love the color scheme and simple but cute decor!

Girls weekend getaway

House was very beautiful! The scenery and view from the backyard was amazing. House came stacked with supplies that made less trips to the store. Firewood was supplied and made for amazing bonfires at night. Propane tank was empty, I contacted management. They replied within minutes. We went to store to replace and reimbursed me almost immediately. One of the best VRBO experiences I have encountered overall with a property. Definitely would stay here again. 10 out of 10 must stay properties!

Beautiful Christmas stay!

The Eagles Nest is so bright and clean! Comfortable beds. Great, fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful views of lake with our morning coffee. It was a green Christmas but we took advantage of 2 beautiful hikes and made wonderful meals. Loved standing on the deck at night seeing the stars. A great place to stay in any season.

Great property

We had 3 families (10 people) and 2 boats for a long weekend at the The Eagles Nest. It’s an amazing, beautiful, clean space. Close proximity to everything and great for water sports. We plan on coming back next year!

Beautiful Lakefront Home

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at this property. The home is immaculate and very beautiful, the location and views are stunning. Probably one of the nicest rental properties I've ever rented, would love to stay here again.

Lake weekend with friends

We had a great stay at this beautiful property. The house is clean and beautifully maintained. There is a balcony on each floor with panoramic lake views. A dock is just steps away with steps into the water. We would love to return on the future.

Beautiful spacious home.

Loved the home and was perfect for a family "reconnect time" . very clean and had everything we needed. My family of 7 and 2 grand sons. The boys were 2 and 5. Nice to have the dock and to be right on the water. Weather didn't cooperate so well, but we made the best of it. Best place to eat is the Clam Lake Bar and Grill. (only thing I was not aware of - you can not rent a pontoon boat for this specific lake. Only on Lake Cadillac. just FYI)

We had the full lake front Cadillac visit to my fathers home town, beautiful view and sweet small town. This was also the site of my children’s 15th birthday and their 1st visit to Michigan. Wonderful memories!

Great Stay For Our Group

This was our second stay at the Eagles Nest. The cottage has everything and the floor plan worked really well for our three families. The cottage is extremely clean, well furnished, has a nice yard and beautiful view to Lake Mitchell. I would highly recommend!

Great house on a lake

Stayed in June 2021. House is really nice, lots of space with a bedroom and bath on each of the three floors. This was probably the cleanest rental we’ve stayed at. Each floor also has a deck overlooking the lake. Great fire pit. Only recommendation would be to get blinds for the door to the deck on the top floor master. It is pretty bright in the morning. We were getting up early so it wasn’t a big deal. Besides that minor item, the place is perfect and we would definitely stay there again.

Perfect lake house get away

House is located at Lake Mitchell, within close proximity of the William Mitchell State Park where ice fishing and snowmobile is a hit in the winter ! Small town has a few gas stations but very limited dining options and most are closed or closing early ~5/6pm. However it’s close to the city of Cadillac (~15-20mins drive) which has plenty of restaurants, bars, pharmacy and a 24hr Walmart ! House is located along the lake, it was warmed up to 68 degrees before we arrived, the drive-way was plowed and house was spotless - Clean!!! The 3 Bedrooms are spread out on three different levels, each level has access to their own but not connected shower and bathroom, seems sufficient for the larger group. Kitchen is stock with plates, glasses, silverware, pan and pots should you decide to cook . We didn’t get to use the grill or the fire pit outside, can only imagine how nice it would be during non-winter months. Overall a very modern and well kept house with lots of outdoor activities all year around and an unbeatable view of the lake from all three levels. The only complaint I have is perhaps consider installing some type of shades or darkening blinds for the master bedroom windows? Yes, it’s nice to wake up and able to see the lake, however give the renter an option to do that when they wake up and not force to see if at 7am or whenever the sun raises đŸ€·đŸ»â€â™‚ïž. Little bit more privacy from our neighbors would be

Lake Cadillac

We enjoyed our family time together! Lots of fishing, boating and swimming! Loved the sandbar at the far end of the lake! I was not satisfied with the Evolve Rental Management Co. RENTER BEWARE OF ALL THE NON-REFUNDABLE FEES. 101.50 Security deposit, 357.00 SERVICE FEE??? Almost 500.00 in Excessive Fees! I have always rented from the owner so will be more cautious next time around.
