We had 20 guys stay there for a golfing trip. Plenty of beds, house had everything we needed, pool area was excellent as well, perfect location, etc. Will definitely reserve it again next year.

This home was very spacious, kitchen equipped with all necessary items. Pool area was beautiful. However, this home needs a deep clean. The shower in the king room suite is more of a mist that comes out of the shower head. Making for a very unpleasant shower experience. Evolve team was very responsive. Close proximity to the beach.

Family Vacation

We had a family vacation late September 2023. There was 13 in our family. There was plenty of beds and room for everyone. Just steps away from the beach and the private pool was wonderful. The smaller pool was good for our 1 year old. Plenty of outdoor space with lounge chairs. The 2 refrigerators were nice since we had 3 families there. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels. The Aqua House is in walking distance to the pier with an arcade, Sam’s Corner for a great hot dog and Drippy’s ice cream that we went to every night. Communication with the owner was fast and easy. This family would stay here again in the future.

First the furniture was extremely soiled. We had to cover the sofa and chairs in the living area with sheets. The primary bedroom mattress was worn with little padding.The patio area had weeds growing out of the pavers. There were broken pvc drain pipes littering the pool area. What was supposed to be the golfing area was in dispare.Exterior ground level area looks as if it has not been maintained since construction. Primary bath sink drain stopper was non functioning. Light bulbs were missing in on of the bedside table. Location and view were good. All this leads me to believe this is an investment property, and not occupied as a summer home.

Family fun 2021

We had a really nice stay. The house was perfect for our large group. We had 18 and the house did not seem crowded. The pool area was nice. Also very spacious. The location is awesome. So many nice restaurants and we were also SO close to the beach. We rent every year and this so far is our favorite.

Be Prepared to Deep Clean Upon Arrival

We booked this property largely based on glowing reviews of cleanliness. However, the property was nowhere near even our daily standard of cleaning in our own home. The cost of the cleaning fee does not compare in value to the total cleanliness of the home upon arrival. PROS: POOL: Pool was large, clean and comfortable for our party of 15, with plenty of patio seating for outdoor dining. BEACH: Proximity to the beach was very convenient with small children whose needs varied day-to-day. SIZE: House was large with plenty of beds and bathrooms for our group. (con below) Plenty of dinnerware and flatware for our party. GRILLS: Gas and charcoal grill were as described (be prepared to swap your own tank - we were provided with 2 empty tanks - renter responsible for swapping them). CONS: KITCHEN: Every item in the kitchen was dirty and had to be re-cleaned prior to use. All drawers and cabinets needed to be cleaned of remains of food and trash from previous renters. 3 sets of pots and pans but only 1 mixing bowl. "Fully equipped" is not how we would describe it. Fridge was wiped down but mold had accumulated on the underside of all the shelves. GENERAL CLEANING: Surface clean was performed but deep clean has probably not taken place over the course of the summer season. Trash, used tissues, dust bunnies under beds. BEDDING/LINENS: Sheets were visibly stained as well as comforters/covers. Awful plastic covers on all the beds that were very uncomfortable to sleep on. Waterproof pads exist on the market that aren't so obnoxious. Mattresses were squeaky and woke spouses in children in the same room. Parents traveling with small children, be prepared to not have room for pack-n-play, etc. unless you stay in the master bedroom. GENERAL: Doors were squeaky and unadjusted to move freely of the jamb. Stairs were not well vacuumed. Doors were not as pictured on the laundry area - they had been removed. Laundry could then only be done while everyone was awake to not wake anyone. The couches were stained, dingy, and dirty. Stair spindles were gray from grime in parts. OVERALL: House and pool were large and convenient to the beach, but the unclean state of the home was not worth the price tag of the home. No one wants to spend the first day of their vacation deep cleaning someone else's mess, especially with a hefty cleaning fee. I would not recommend this property in the state in which we found it.

They assured us that they will speak to their cleaning team to ensure future guests do not experience any similar issues. These owners work hard to provide an ideal stay for all renters, and they encourage guests to reach out right away should any concerns arise. They would have been happy to send the cleaners back out if necessary!

Awesome Home and Location

Can’t say enough good things about this home. Great location with a partial ocean view and was only a 3 minute walk to the beach. Plenty of local restaurants nearby with Murell’s Inlet close by. Our family of 13 had more than enough space with all but one bedroom having its own bath. So we never had to wait on others to shower Always had plenty of hot water too. The covered decking from the living room was a nice place to sit and look at the ocean view The house was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen and plenty of towels, wash cloths etc. The thing we enjoyed most was the private pool Spent more time there than in the beach. So clean and very big. It had a nice brick decking all round it with two separate patio tables and chairs Also a grill near the pool. Everything about this house so handy. Would have stayed another vacation there, but when I went back in Vrbo to reserve, the price for same time of year next year had increased over $3000. So disappointed. Don’t understand the big increase!

Our family truly enjoyed our stay at this property! It's very spacious, well-equipped, and quite close to the beach. We had a relaxing few days here with our five children ages 13 to 3 months. While we definitely enjoyed our stay, we were a bit disappointed with a few minor inconveniences. We were never able to get hot water at the kitchen sink, which made it extremely difficult to wash dishes, baby bottles, etc. There were a few slow-draining sinks and tubs. We really would have liked access to a bathroom on the ground level as it was impossible to get wet kids from the pool to the bathroom on the main level without either walking them up carpeted stairs or crossing through the main living room. Without a doubt, the worst part for us was the beds. They all had very loud plastic mattress covers on them, and almost every one of the bed frames were SO LOUD and creaky. Getting in and out of bed without waking a spouse or a sleeping baby in a nearby travel crib was a nearly impossible feat! The bed in the master was so loud, my husband and I slept in one of the smaller rooms with two queen beds. At the rate this property charges, I would have expected to have solid, quality beds and comfortable mattresses for a good night’s sleep. Knowing all of this, however, we would likely still stay here again.

Excellent Location

Amazing location and spacious home! Just about every room has a dedicated bathroom. Owners were incredibly responsive and friendly. Decent cookware in kitchen, pool is large (not heated), beach toys available in storage, and there’s an outdoor shower. Took off one star due to cleaning, which was outsourced to a cleaning company. During non-COVID times, the cleaning would’ve been satisfactory, however, when we arrived, there was trash around the pool and the floors needed a good mop. Just be prepared to disinfect upon arrival and bring your own dish soap and hand soap. Kroger’s is just down the street and has all the necessities.

Perfect beach house!

We loved our stay at this house! The house was very clean, and decorated beautifully. All but one bedroom has an attached bathroom which was very nice to have. The view of the ocean is perfect from either porch, the pictures don't do it justice! The pool was perfect for our kids...between the sun shelf area and the shallow kids pool, our kids had a blast and could stay in the pool all the day. The deck area has 8 lounge chairs and two separate dining areas, plus a gas grill, which is usually a rare find for a beach house. The kids (and adults) had a blast using the putting green area, such a fun addition. We rented a golf cart for the week but ultimately didn't really need it as the beach access was only a 2 min walk. We loved our time here and would definitely rebook should we find ourselves in town again! Thanks for a great week!

Beautiful home in a great location

This was a great property for our family of 19. We loved the very short walk to the beach and enjoyed nearly everything about the house. Heather, the guest contact, was always quick to respond to texts or emails. Sadly, the pool was flooded by the hurricane that came through on the 2nd day of our trip making it unusable for 3 days, but she was quick to get someone to the house to start the cleaning process. I was not a fan of the rental company (Evolve) and probably wouldn’t rent from them again. I tried multiple times to get in touch with them shortly after I made my reservation and could never get in touch with anyone and got no response to my messages. Also, there was a sink in one of the bathrooms that wouldn’t drain well at all from the day we got there. We dealt with it all week, but I was surprised the issue either hadn’t been reported or taken care of previously. Overall cleanliness was good but there was some food and dust under some of the furniture (under my bed for example). Be prepared to provide your your own beach towels, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dish detergent.

Beautiful house!

The house looked exactly like it does in the pictures on line. The pool is big! Very short walk to the beach and nice views from the porches. My family had a great time and plan to come back!

Amazing location

This house allowed everybody to do what they love to do on vacation......some beached, some sat by the pool, and some golfed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was awesome having 4 teenagers. The outdoor spaces was perfect to accommodate all the people. And so happy that there was outdoor furniture! We will definitely stay here again.
