This is the PERFECT little getaway. The croft is tucked away in the hills and I loved every minute of my stay. Siobhan was so kind and welcoming. I cannot recommend this place enough!
We loved our stay! Great surroundings and just the kind of peace and quiet we were looking for. Lovely cottage, very friendly hosts. Thanks so much for a great time.
Amazing place to stay, loved every single minute, everything was perfect.
This property is in a class of its own, the views are absolutely perfect, such a relaxing place to stay, and you cannot fault Siobhan and Garry as hosts. When you hear birds a couple of feet away from you all day and see deer coming down the hill we knew we would love it, credit to you both, x

My husband and I had the most relaxing time staying in this lovely apartment.
Siobhan has thought of so many little touches to make it a comfortable and peaceful place to stay and the welcome gifts were a lovely treat.
I would highly recommend a stay here, it feels peaceful and out of the way whilst being close to many of the attractions of the Highlands.

The house is part of a farm. There are sheep, cattle and a dog. The owners are very welcoming and helpful. The furnishings are very cosy, high quality and lovingly put together. A perfect place to relax. We would love to come back here again.

Very glad that you enjoyed your holiday! Do come back and see if you can increase the bird count!
We had an exceptionally great stay in your croft. Shiobhan thank you for all. From the beginning we felt very welcome. This nice cottage is equipped with everthing for feeling well and relaxed. The surrounding area is even very beautiful and alive. Every day there are so much little lovely details to discover new. Everytime we came "home" we smiled. We had very kind and attentive hosts. We highly recommend this accomodation.
What a beautiful property, everything had been thought of. The cottage was super-clean and cosy with lovely views and friendly hosts. If the weather had been cold we would have been very snug with the underfloor heating and wood-burner. As it was, we were just right and Siobhan had included lots of little extras which made it extra special. Highly recommended 😊
A very welcoming site after a long drive , lights on, welcome message and all that we needed for drinks and nibbles .
The cottage is beautifully decorated with all that is needed. A fab porch gives shelter for sitting out in the morning, breakfast or coffee time and evening for gin and sundown.
Slept well in the comfy bed and the bathroom is lovely. Beautiful tranquil views and wildlife aplenty. Deer, birds and farm animals.
A perfect location and home from home for some well earned R&R

Lovely to have met you and so glad you enjoyed staying here.
A beautiful home in a stunning location! Everything about this property, down to the tiniest detail had the WOW factor! The quality of the furnishings & fittings are of an extremely high standard. Very easily a 5 star accommodation. Siobhan was very welcoming & made sure we had everything we needed, she made sure we were warm enough & even changed our towels half way through our weeks stay. Such a lovely lady. We will definitely be returning & also recommending to everyone we know. We look forward to coming back again soon.
A quiet and relaxing Hogmanay under a starry sky surrounded by the beauty of the Highlands.
This property was excellent in every way. It was warm and cosy. The space had been well designed to accommodate all of the essentials needed for a relaxing stay. The owners had it beautifully decorated and it is so well cared for. A lot of thought had gone into providing additional touches that made you feel welcome. The fresh flowers made it even more special. The bird feeders outside the bedroom window were well located to ensure usage by a wide variety of different small birds. The veranda was also good for wildlife viewing. The property was ideally situated for walking whatever the weather whether locally or in the surrounding area.

Thank you both for being such great guests! Glad you enjoyed your holiday and saw the baby deer!

About the host
Hosted by Siobhan
Hi! I grew up near here and after a spell working away, came back to the area and started up a croft (a small farm). My husband and I have some beef cows and some sheep and areas we look after for biodiversity.
We love meeting people and sharing this beautiful part of Scotland.
Why they chose this property
Where we live is so quiet and buzzing with wildlife. There are always deer about (sometimes annoying as they eat the garden plants!), lots of birds, trees and wildflowers.
What makes this property unique
peace and quiet, dark skies, lovely view from the porch, wildlife
