Guadalupe River Road Retreatは、GrueneとSattlerの中間、2番目と3番目の交差点の間にあります。 グアダルーペ川のこのオアシスは、静かな環境の中で川を楽しみ、乱雑な混雑やパーティー用の小屋から逃げたい家族やカップルに対応しています。

私達の小屋のゲストは雄大なオーク、ペカンおよびヒノキの木の木陰の下でエーカーのように6つの公園をさまよう自由を持っています。 キャビンデッキやベンチスイングからグアダルーペ川の素晴らしい景色を楽しんだり、ハンモックで昼寝をしたり、新しく改装されたテニスコートでテニスを楽しんだり、もちろん川で過ごすこともできます。

川は2つのエリア、階段を降りるコンクリートドックから、または2本の巨大なヒノキの木の樹冠の下に座っているエリアへの自然な道を通ってアクセス可能です。 ホテルから川を渡って川の向こう側には、人々が頻繁に出かけたり、水遊びをしたり、遊戯者が遊んでいるのを楽しんだりする、石灰岩の広がりがあります。

Our stay was so much fun and the property is beautiful. The hosts,Carlton and Laura, go above and beyond to make sure you have what you need to enjoy your stay. We stayed at the TX Star house which was perfect for our girls trip. We enjoyed it so much that we rebooked for next year. We highly recommend this property.

Carlton and Laura are great hosts! They checked on us frequently and were available if we needed anything. The river access was close and is a nice area to sit in the river and relax. There are a couple other cabins on the same property, but we never felt crowded or bothered. The guys enjoyed playing pickleball and basketball. It was a little warm in one of the bedrooms with no window unit, but there were several fans around the house we could use. I would definitely stay again!

Peaceful river retreat

Stayed at this property for a relaxing and enjoyable summer getaway. It was a true river retreat & our hosts were AMAZING!!! Wildlife was a major plus & privacy on the river can’t be beat!

Great Place to Relax

Great family atmosphere

Don’t hesitate to bring your little ones but great for all ages. Lots of shade if you want it or plenty of sun in the river. Property owners make you feel at home and take great pride in the property and making sure you enjoy it.

We highly recommend the Rivers Edge Retreat

We had an amazing stay at the Rivers Edge Retreat. Carlton and Laura were absolutely the best..They went over and beyond for us. They aired up our tubes and even gave us a ride to where we wanted to be dropped off so we could float back to our cabin. This is by far the best service we've ever received staying on River Road in New Braunfels and we have visited many places. This location is everything and it is right on the river. Sobeautiful and so many shade trees which we love. There is so much wildlife we were able to see & enjoy. We highly recommend the Rivers Edge Retreat.Thank you and we hope to visit again next summer.

Guadalupe Texas Star Cabin

This cabin was an excellent get away to enjoy time on the Guadalupe River. There are nice rapids at the river access to play, relax, and provide exceptional people watching. The walk down to the river is not far from the cabin. It was a wonderful vacation spot for our family because the cabin was extremely clean and cozy, comfortable beds, good wifi, large relaxing deck and outdoor furniture, and beautiful yard to enjoy sitting outside in the evenings. The property owner was friendly and responsive. There are nearby tubing outfitters for convenient floating options. We will definitely return to stay at this cabin to enjoy time on the Guadalupe River.

Right on the River, very clean

Carlton was there to greet us at the gate. He showed us around the property and gave us some tips for the river. We went on a couples getaway trip and the house we rented was perfect for us. They have several other properties on site that you could also rent if you were to have a bigger group. We walked to the river to hang out in the evenings, and a tube rental place was approximately a quarter mile up the road. The house was clean, and had most appliances and amenities you could need. Our small group has already discussed renting it again for next year. Highly recommend.

This place is absolutely amazing! The property, the location of the houses in comparison to the river, access to the river, the privacy and the hosts were amazing. We had such a wonderful stay at this river cabin! A special thank you to Carlton and Laura for being such warm, welcoming, and accommodating hosts. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel right at home and were always helpful and attentive, which made our experience even more enjoyable.The location was perfect! It is centrally located with easy access to everything we wanted to do, while still providing a peaceful and relaxing retreat for our family of 4. The river access was definitely a highlight and gave us plenty of opportunities to enjoy several river floats.Thank you, Carlton and Laura for sharing your beautiful cabin with us and for your exceptional hospitality. This was my husbands and I one year wedding anniversary and it could not have been a better trip! We were greeted by the hosts Mr. Carlton and Laura who gave us the lay of the land, their hospitality was nothing short of extraordinary and genuine. We enjoyed all the nature the property had to offer and the private water access to the river. We loved sitting outside on the deck watching the water and lightening bugs in the evening time and listening to all the locus while the deer in the back ground. Thank y'all Carlton and Laura for having us as y'all's guests. We cannot wait to come back.

Great property

Cute and clean and just what we needed to be close to our RV friends for the weekend! This was our second year here and Carlton is always a great host! The smores ingredients were a nice touch and very much appreciated!

Another Great Stay!

This is our second time staying on Carlton & Laura's property. The cabin is very clean, and fully stocked. We have stayed at vacation properties that are completely bare. Paper towels, Kleenex, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, are all provided. Even mosquito spray! The hosts think of everything. The property is secluded. Although there are other cabins on the property, you never feel "crowded." Two mornings we were the only people on the Guadalupe! I really cannot say enough good things- from a random request for string from my seven year old, to an impromptu photo shoot provided by Laura- the hosts go above and beyond to really make your vacation one to remember. I would not hesitate to recommend the cabin.

Relaxing weekend out of the hustle and bustle

This is an easy vacation and super relaxing - our kids enjoyed all of the open areas, tennis courts, and private areas on the river. Weekdays on the river allowed for us to have everything to ourselves. The owners were attentive to our needs and incredibly kind. We hope to go again with our broader families as renting out all houses on the property would be an incredible family time.

Great spot on the Guadalupe

Great place for a small family or if you have a larger group there are a few other cabin/houses on the property. Host is very accommodating and lives on the property and will help you with the lay of the land with tips regarding the river and restaurants around the area. We did no cooking on site but there seemed to be pretty much anything you needed to make a river meal happen including a gas grill.

Great Location On The River

The owners are on site and take care of anything you might need. The location on the water allows you to tube or just sit in the water and watch the other people float by. We will be planning another trip soon!

Relaxing and Rejuvenating

We had a phenomenal time at the property. The location is right on the Guadalupe river with easy access. Carlton and Laura run the property and are the most hospitable hosts one could hope to get, very friendly and care deeply about your experience. The cabin was clean and neat and has everything you need, just bring your food and drinks. Carlton even pumped up our inflatables and got the fire pit sorted for our kids each night, along with S'mores! We will definitely be back, you will not regret your time here.
