The house and dock and everything was nice! We enjoyed our stay very much! Just a heads up for those who book in the future, the roads close to the house are a little bit of tough terrain!
We took our 5 adult children and their families for a lake vacation get-together. This is a wonderful home that provides space to be together or for individuals to get away from the action of everyone else. It is well furnished and located on a quiet spot on the lake. Had a great dock for fishing and for lounging.
This house and property is absolutely beautiful and Adam was fabulous. He was able to answer all questions, let us know what bait to use and helped us find a marina to rent a boat for a day. We had more than enough room as the house was huge. Our teen girls and their cousins loved the loft area because they could stay up late and not bother anyone. We loved being right on the water. There was plenty of room to sit on the patio or the dock while the kids swam or fished. The kitchen was stocked with all of the basics which made it easy to prepare meals. We enjoyed sitting on the deck while eating supper in the evening, the view was spectacular. If you are looking for a restful retreat, this property will not disappoint.
Our stay started off great until Day 2 when we ran into plumbing issues - several toilets not working (3 of the 5). Contacted Matt directly - he sent a handyman out who looked at the septic and told us it was full. Matt then told us about a pizza place up the road (mind you this home is very isolated) that's open until 7 PM for restroom use. Asked about other rental properties or mobile toilets for another resolution and no luck. We were not able to depart as we had a boat rental for the day, 18 family members and a 6 hour drive home with food already prepared for the day. After he notified us of septic, he offered 1 night stay credit and said to limit our use to the 2 toilets and confirmed not to use the washer, dishwasher, etc. to limit water so we did not have further issues in the remaining 2 toilets. We had the kids use the lake, used the hose outside for freezing showers and made do our last day/next am. Matt could not get septic there until morning we checked out. After our departure, Matt notified me the septic was not full (his handyman is "just a handyman" so probably didn't know correct level) and he was having roto rooter come out at 5 PM (day we already left), he asked for venmo to send me refund. Later that evening, he text me that there was a clog in one of the toilets and he would no longer refund my money. This is TERRIBLE! He should of had a plumber or handyman come in - our water was limited based on his direction. And 1 clog for 3 restrooms?

Great home on the water with large deck and lots of space to hang out. The loft was perfect for the teens to hang out. Everyone enjoyed swimming off the dock with the lily pad. Kids also enjoyed the paddle board and kayak and water guns. Had a little trouble getting in since door code was wrong but once in had no problems!
The house had plenty of space for 5 couples and kids. It was clean and had everything we needed. Tons of floaties for the kids to use as well. Location is a little off the heated path but added to the adventure. We had a great time and would recommend this place for sure.
This was the second time we rented this property and the second time was even better than the first. The upgrades made to the property over the last two years were fantastic. The house is well stocked and equipped with everything a large group needs. The yard and multiple decks provide plenty of outdoor space and we enjoyed swimming off of the dock. Plenty of dock space to tie up our rental boat as well. Plenty of sleeping space with multiple bathrooms - makes the property feel very spacious for a large group. We enjoy the more relaxed lake area - and our group had a great time - felt like we had the lake entirely to ourselves!!! Thank you!
This property has everything you could ask for when going to the Lake of the Ozarks. The upper and lower deck, patio/fire pit area, and dock are awesome. The house sits on the quieter part of the lake, so there wasn't a lot of boat traffic, which made for an enjoyable time on the dock. The house had plenty of rooms and beds and was very spacious. 16 people stayed during our trip and not once did we ever feel crammed. The kitchen and living area were perfect for the entire group to eat together. Access to the spare garage was great to park the cars. The last mile or so trying to access the house is a little rough, but that is not the owner's fault - just beware that it may be difficult for a smaller car (toyota camry or similar) to try to get down there.
We enjoyed everything that the lake house had to offer! I'm so glad they had two refrigerators and extra outside chairs.

Great house
The house was spacious and a close walk to the dock. The driveway was steeper than we anticipated. We were happy to have two refrigerators. It was nice to have extra outdoor folding chairs too. The kids loved their loft area upstairs.
The property owner was great so responsive anytime we had any questions he answered right away. Property was beautiful, clean, had plenty of rooms for a large group. Water filtration system was great. Deck and dock were both very beautiful as well. Views were breath taking and it’s on a secluded part of the lake with a small amount of water traffic. The only negatives is this is very far from anything you would want to do and this is on a very long gravel neighborhood I would call it. A lot of reviews said 2 miles i would say it’s more like 3 miles and it takes at least 30 min to get to a main road. It’s extremely treacherous and if you do not have 4 wheel drive don’t even bother taking that car. Very hilly but once you get to the property it’s worth it and has so many views. There are also a lot of stairs so if you have anyone in the group that cannot do stairs that may be challenging for them to go up and down.
This property was everything we could have ever wanted! Plenty of bedrooms, beds and bathrooms to make everyone feel comfortable and at home. It is in a very remote part of the lake, which we loved! Being able to hang out on the porch, doc and in the water is exactly what we wanted! Thank you!
Property was easy to access. 2 miles of gravel road but it wasn't horrible.
The house was beautiful. Wish they would remodel the loft area as adults use it as well. Could use an additional refrigerator since the closest store is 30 minutes away.
Nice place, beautiful views. Pretty secluded and safe swimming for everyone. Not a lot of boat traffic. The owner was very helpful, great to work with!!
Very nice Lake home with ample space for a large family or group of friends. Excellent owner response to questions. The only slight negative is the 2 mile gravel road to get to the house, and steep driveway. I would not attempt this in a luxury car. Luckily someone in our group had a large truck and we all arrived fine. The levels, plenty of room to spread out. Great grill and all the accessories you need. Kerig and coffee maker, even a margarita machine. It’s about 30 minutes to the nearest store, so make sure you bring everything you need (especially ice and water).
Had a wonderful time here, the location was nice and secluded. The house was perfect, lots of space and beds, had all the amenities you could need for a lake trip. The dock for swimming was fun and they provided us with paddle boards and a lilly pad. No complaints on our end, couldn’t of booked a better place for Labor Day weekend!
We had a great time at the property. We had 16 people in the group and the house provided plenty of space. The loft was a great spot for the younger individuals in the group - they loved it. The kitchen was nicely stocked as well for meal prep. Several patio/deck areas provided lots of room to spread out and enjoy the lake and the covered porch provided needed shelter from the rain. Large dock provided another great area to hang out, swim and enjoy the view. I would definitely recommend for large groups! Great time was had by all.
We’ve stayed at a number of rental homes on the Lake so had some built-in biases but overall this property totally served its purpose. The highlights of the house include the great bedroom and bathroom layout that comfortably accommodated four families totaling 18. Also, the outside areas were phenomenal, with a massive deck with plenty of seating overlooking a very functional dock and a serene part of the lake. Finally, most of the kids slept in the massive loft that had its own beds and bathrooms so they really had their own space.
The biggest downside was the relative isolation of the house, which was quite far from stores and amenities. If you bring most of what’s needed in order to minimize trips out, it doesn’t have a major impact.

A family week at Lake of the Ozarks!
Loved the property and the house. Very spacious house for large group. Dock was very convenient, especially being able to use the boat lift. Very quite and beautiful location on the lake.
What a great location! We loved the beautiful views and sitting on the many decks to drink coffee or watch our kids swim off the dock. I think the pictures do not do an accurate job of showcasing how awesome the Top Level Bunk area is. Our kids flipped for this, it was like their own private apartment with multiple beds, couch, tv, bathroom. This house has 3 levels of living space which makes it ideal for multiple families. The kitchen was also very well stocked for everything you need for cooking and storing food. WiFi also worked great on all our devices.
