The Birdshack is a high-end home located in Camdenton, on the quieter side of the lake. The perfect house for weddings, corporate retreats, family-fun vacations, church and ladies groups and more! The home is secluded and has breathtaking big lake views. It's as if you have your own private luxury hotel. Almost every room in this home has been recently refinished.

The main floor has a large gathering space with lots of couches and seating areas, dining spaces for 20 people plus a large, high end-kitchen you'll be excited to cook in. There are 2 bedrooms on this level. Both have king beds and twin over double bunk beds. This level also features a TV room with large pull out couches and a big flat screen television. Off the kitchen there is a large screened-in porch and deck area with ample seating and a propane grill. You will love sitting out enjoying the incredible view.

The lower level has a fun and exciting atmosphere! It features a pool table room and a poker table. It also has a large TV area with tons of seating and an extra full kitchen for additional cooking space or for snacks while you are hanging out downstairs. There are 5 bedrooms on this level. A bunk bedroom that all kids will love! The room has 3 sturdy double over double bunks. There is also a cozy queen bedroom and a queen bedroom with a twin over twin bunk bed. There is a full bathroom located off of these rooms. On the other side of this level are 2 more bedrooms featuring a queen size bed with a twin over double bunk bed and a queen size bed and a twin over twin bunk bed. Between these two bedrooms is another full sized bathroom. Lots of folks means lots of laundry. Not a problem. There are also 2 full laundry rooms in this home.

Outside the home there is a 800 sq ft. covered patio and a large beautiful fire pit. A great evening hang out!

One of the coolest things about this home is the huge commercial-sized dock. There are 2 boat slips. The large boat slip is 18 x 52 and the smaller one is 12 x 32. The dock is the perfect place to spend your days. It has a flat screen TV above the huge built-in bar and lots of seating. There are stairs to permit you to walk into the water. You can lay out, swim, fish and play music over the extensive speaker system built into the dock.

This home has everything you want when you come to the lake. It is truly a luxury home. Have your best lake event yet at the The Birdshack. You will love staying and will want to come back year after year!

Had a great time at this house. It's the second time we've rented it for a large guys golf trip, and there's plenty of space for all of us. The dock is amazing and great for hanging out on the lake. Plan on going back next year to the same place as long as it's available.

The dock is the best part of this entire property. It held all 19 of us very easily to play cards jump off the deck and hold our boat that we rented. There is a Lily pad for your enjoyment, but you do need to bring the rest of the your toys along. Just be mindful the road and sidewalk going from the dock to the house is very steep and we were forewarned and brought our truck along, which was really handy for bringing people up and back and bringing a load of coolers, etc. when we were going down to the boat. The kitchen is well stocked. We did have an issue with the dock tv and two other televisions televisions. we could not get to work because we could not get the remotes to work. And you can tell it is a well loved home!

The property is perfect for a large group, plenty of bedrooms and space. The walk to and from the dock can be difficult for older guests, a 4x4 vehicle is a major plus. The property manager was very responsive with out requests.

Perfect Lake House

This place was everything we expected and more!! It was great for our weekend getaway and the check in and out process was seamless! We are already planning our next trip back!

Annual Guys Weekend

Great location on the lake. Plenty of room and beds for our group. Close to Camdenton for groceries, gas, etc. Some of group played golf, fished, and we enjoyed the fire pit in the evening. Well furnished house. We had a great time!

Loved the seclusion, plenty of space for everyone. We originally thought we would have 22 and only had 17. We would have had plenty of space for all 22. The little family room off the entrance way was an adorable place for our Christmas gathering. There are individual temperature settings for the main floor and the bottom floor. Once we discovered the one downstairs it really allowed comfort for all. We went in the winter so we did not use the dock but it is very spacious. Even had a fridge and TV. The description and reviews are true about how steep it is to get to the dock but there is a paved path. A good workout. Everyone had a great time and commented how beautiful the place was; iInside and view.

Great place with plenty of room

13 of us stayed for a golf trip at the lake. The place was clean and had a lot of space for everyone. We loved the fire put outside and access to dock. We ended up walking down to dock and it is very steep but doable. We did not try other road down to lake by vehicle. We would stay here again

60 th Anniversary Family Vacation

Amazing property with incredible boat dock for fun water activities. We had a week of memorable times with 4 generations. Just make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle for getting elderly people down to the dock and hauling some of the water toys! Beautiful views from the screened in porch.

Great house!!

We had 18 guys out for an annual golf trip and this is one of the best houses we've stayed at. Great layout and everyone had their own bed. The dock was amazing and had a great speaker set up as well. If you are looking for a large space for a group gathering, this one would be hard to pass up. Great communication from the owner/property manager before and after the visit. Would highly recommend and hope to stay here again next year.

Extended family vacation

We had a wonderful time! The house was the perfect size for all of us and the layout was great! The kitchen and eating area was a good size for our big group. There was plenty of space to spread out, but also good sized "common" areas so we could all be together! The only surprise was that the hill down to the lake was extremely steep! We would definitely go back!

Great for large families

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a large family gathering (22) people and had plenty of room where we didn’t feel crowded. The dock is an amazing place to relax, listen to music and swim. Highly recommend this house for any large groups looking to enjoy the water. Caution on the very steep walk to the lake. We rented a golf cart and it was the best money spent.

Wedding Weekend

We booked this property for a wedding weekend with friends and family and could not have been happier with the turnout! We had our ceremony in the backyard and it was absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of entertainment for the kids and adults and everyone raved about it. We will be booking again in the future 😊

Great Spot

This is a great house for a big group. There are a lot of areas to hang out, but as the other people have mentioned in their review, the path to the dock is treacherous. I can't imagine trying to carry a cooler or a child down that path (the trek back up is actually worse). We only went down to the dock once because of the path. They should probably look into some stairs with landings. Other than the path to the lake, the place is great and I would stay there again.

Lots of great space

We enjoyed our stay at the Birdshack. There was plenty of room for our group of 20, lots of comfortable seating in 3 different living spaces.There was plenty of room for dining, too. Most bedrooms were good size with comfortable beds. The big pantry closet in the kitchen was great for all are food. The grandkids enjoyed all the games, including the pool table .The walk to the water on the sidewalk is a bit steep but doable if you take it slow. The porches on the back were nice, including the screened in area. A great place for a family vacation.

Family Graduation Celebration at the Ozarks

We had a wonderful time! Our party was a total of 18 adults, and we all fit comfortably. The home is beautiful and very comfortable. The one drawback was the treacherous walk from the house to the dock. We had one Senior Citizen with us who unfortunately couldn't join us when we were on the dock because she couldn't get to it. I didn't read any details in the description of the home that mentioned the extremely steep walk down the hill to get to the water.Other than that, the property was terrific, and we had a great time!

Not only will you enjoy being at this home but the commercial size dock is an experience all of its own with a bar, 2 large boat slips, comfortable seating and a perfect place for swimming and relaxing by the water.
The home also has a ping pong table, pool table, dart board and pocker table in case you want to have a game night with your group.
This home is lake luxury and we know you will want to come year after year!
