I've been coming to Mammoth both during the Summer and Winter seasons for a several years now, and have stayed at quite a few different places within my budget. Some have been so disappointing that it's made me head home early. This place, though, was definitely one of the nicest places I've been able to afford. Everything was clean, lots of dishes, glasses, utensils, and things to cook with when you order too much for dinner and have leftovers. My 9 y/o nephew enjoyed his options of the bunk bed, and the cute little room they were built into (though we were too afraid for him to take the top bunk without a rail). The wallpaper in the bathroom was super cute, though moisture has started to get to it. The little sink inside the main bedroom was a nice bonus. It didn't smell funny inside (like some places do...that old smell). The location was great, too. We could either walk down the hill to the village or hop onto the free town trolley that had a stop literally across the street. It WAS a little hard to find the unit when arriving, though. The map provided with the reservation was a little confusing, trying to figure out what "upper" and "lower" meant, but we eventually found it! I'd definitely stay here again if given the chance!
