Great Location

The location of this property is perfect if one is needing to be near the downtown area. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the neighborhood was relatively quiet.

Wonderful Home, Wonderful Homeowner

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay here. The home is lovely, nicely decorated, and clean, and has everything one would need for a week or more. We did a lot of cooking and even grilled out once on the charcoal grill. The kitchen has all the cookware, dishes, and utensils needed. All the appliances worked flawlessly. The bedrooms are roomy and each are stocked with fresh white towels and blankets. The homeowners are so friendly and kind and responded to our texts/calls promptly. They are very conscientious and came over personally to look into the internet outage that occurred for a few hours (the service provide was performing maintenance), and made sure that it was resolved, as I was working remotely that day. There is a nice covered patio in the back, with a large grassy yard. The location of the home was perfect and within minutes of grocery, dining, downtown museums, and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay in Montgomery and if we come back for another trip, we will definitely stay at this wonderful home.

Family gathering

The hosts were very responsive. But the house was not as advertised online. I’ve stayed in many vrbo homes and this was a disappointment. The door to backyard had holes on the bottom, the bathroom cabinets were very old, the kitchen was not equipped with pots and pans, the furniture was not at all like the pictures. The home was not clean, had to wash the linens on the bed because of a foul odor. The home needs lots of work to qualify as a vrbo home. The owners should have ensured the house was clean before the guests arrived. We made the best of it but would not choose this house again.

Great place

Everything was great, will definitely book again next time I go to that area. Was there on a golf trip with some buddies. Was about a 20 minute ride to the RTJ course. Perfect for us!

Great location and Nice Set Up for Visiting

Home Sweet Home was the perfect place to stay during my son's graduation from OTS. It was a quick 15 minute drive to base, airport and the sights in Montgomery. Grocery store was close by. Our adult family flew in from various parts of the country and needed a spot where couples could have their own room and still socialize and gather for meals. We brought in food because we didn't want to bother with cooking. The house had all the kitchen gear for preparing meals, if you chose to do so. The living room was a perfect place to enjoy conversation, air-conditioning kept the house very comfortable in the heat. We appreciated the safe neighborhood where we could walk or run. There is park not far from the house, but be aware it does require crossing a busy street if you are traveling with youngsters. Check-in and check out was simple. Communication with the host was prompt and timely. It was a pleasure to stay at Jason and Elizabeth's home.

Legacy Museum, Museum of Fine Arts and Legendary Tour with Wanda Battle

The house was perfect. My twin sister, my friend, and I celebrated our 73rd birthday here. The house was very clean, very well organized and stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed eating in the dining room, visiting in the living room and relaxing in the den. The 4 bedrooms large and were so comfortable. Towels were plentiful. Easy check in. We enjoyed the large back yard. I highly recommend this house .

Host very accom

We were attending a wedding in Montgomery, coming from Richmond, VA, and bringing our pup. Very nice fenced backyard. Another couple attending the wedding spent a night with us and everyone had ample space. Even had a pet sitter when we went to the wedding!

So thankful.

We needed a place for our family to stay for Hurricane Ida evacuation and Elizabeth and Jason were very accommodating. Plenty of room and very comfortable. So appreciative for their flexibility in our time of need.

Home sweet home indeed!

The house was beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very nicely stocked as was the rest of the house. There's a nice size back yard for the kids to play in also. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Freshman Move In

My family and I stayed at this home during Freshman move in at my son’s college. My parents were included in our party. The home is extremely clean, and consists of complete furnishings. The yard is just gorgeous and provides a sanctuary of sorts at the end of the day. The uniqueness of each bedroom provides a good variety of style to fit the personality of each person in your party. I really appreciated the detailed instructions provided by the owner; along with WiFi access. The neighborhood is well maintained and quiet. The neighbors are nice; as well. The home is conveniently located near retail and grocery shopping. There are great grocery options ranging from Publix and Fresh Market to Whole Foods within 5 minutes of the home. Shopping at Eastchase was a great Option that allowed us to finish purchasing supplies for our son’s move in on campus. Additionally, communication with the owner was prompt, as was their response to any issue with the home. Overall, this was an excellent stay. We will definitely stay at this property when we are in town next. If you have a large group and need clean; yet unique accommodations, I recommend staying at this home.

Extremely clean!

This home was extremely clean and in a perfect location for what we were in town for. The fenced-in backyard is even nicer in person. Lots of welcoming personal touches, from water stocked in the refrigerator to a sweet little dog bed for my puppy. I would definitely stay here again if I had to return to Montogomery.

Beautiful Home!

This home was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Montgomery for my spouses OTS graduation. The house was clean and had beautiful fixtures. Home owners were quick to respond to communication. My family was able to all stay together instead of in separate hotel rooms, because there were 4 equally beautiful rooms for everyone to stay. It’s absolutely a cozy and beautiful home. We will definitely stay again if we’re ever in Montgomery. Thank you, Jason and Elizabeth!

Perfect and close to everything

Got to check in early everything wax ready including holiday touches and bottled water in the fridge we had a slight plumbing problem and the owners had a repair man there in minutes!! Highly recommend this quaint home !

Great Place for our Family

The owners were very friendly and eager to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They even provided us with a gas grill at the last minute - truly went above and beyond! The house is very clean and decorated nicely - and located very conveniently. It’s close to everything but also in a very quiet, safe neighborhood.

Each time we traveled with long distance, renting a place so we could have our own space ; with short distance to everywhere within the city and it surrounding cities; and feel like home after a long day of activities to settle down at night .
