Santa Clara is situated in the resort of Santo Tomas on the South East coast of Menorca, approximately 20 minutes drive from the airport at Mahon. It is a 4 bedroom detached Villa with 4 bathrooms and it's own private swimming pool, set in mature terraced gardens of approximately 1100sq.m and just 5 minutes walk from the beach, shops, restaurants & bars in Santo Tomas. Santa Clara is a spacious and well designed villa with all rooms well proportioned, enabling 8 people to enjoy a relaxing holiday together. The garden also provides ample space to barbeque and enjoy the outside.

Santo Tomas is 4km from the nearest main town, Es Migjorn, and equidistant from the Island's 2 main towns of Mahon and Cuitadella. It has 3 beaches within walking distance with kayaking, paddle boarding, pedaloes and motor boats for hire. There are 5 Hotels within the resort which all provide evening entertainment, a good selection of bars and restaurants, floodlit tennis courts and mini golf, 2 supermarkets, 2 bakers, a pharmacy and a variety of shops. For children there are a variety of play areas with climbing frames and swings, pony trekking and every evening at "Las Dunas" a mini disco.

This is a great property - a few minutes walk from Sant Tomas beach which is one of the nicest resort beaches on the island. We'd stay here again for sure.

Lovely quiet location

Perfect villa for a quiet relaxing holiday which is just what we wished for. Great location away from the main road through Santa Tomas but only a few minutes walk from the beach, restaurants and supermarket. Very quiet and private location and a pool all to ourselves -wonderful!

Great place to stay !

All is perfect in this big house, big swimming pool, wonderful garden with lot of space. 3 min walking to nice beach, 2 min to supermarket and restaurants. Excellent communication with the manager !

Very enjoyable stay in a very convenient location for a nice beach. Easy to drive to other beaches if you have a hire car. Helpful information provided in the villa. Aircon good for sleeping in summer heat.

Lovely holidays in Sant Tomas

The house was very well located , close to the beach and the center of small city of Sant Tomas . We enjoyed the swimming pool as well. The owner was available and prompt to support us (from distance with his local technical team) when we had some technical minor issues . I recommend this rental house.

A wonderful holiday location

We loved this villa and area. We felt secluded yet had shops and the perfect beach 5 minutes away. The villa was roomy, we all had en-suites and air conditioning. The balcony was always shady and we relaxed and ate there. The pool was dreamy, hours of fun…sunny all day and shady from tea time. We explored the island and went on a boat trip. A truly wonderful holiday. Martin (the owner) answered questions via email immediately and was very helpful. A points to note - we got bitten at night so take insect repellant! Thank you for a brilliant time!

Lovely house

Great location and good accommodations. But didn’t see a cleaner or housekeeper all week. One of the bathrooms was very mould infested. The en-suite to the master bedroom had a loose toilet seat with rusting fittings. Methinks the owner needs to have words with his managing agent. On arrival the garden was very unkempt although the gardeners appeared three days later.

All in all Martin ́s house is a very nice spot to stay with incredible beaches and hiking paths directly on your doorstep. We loved every minute of our stay. We loved the spacious house and the marvellous setting oft he garden with lots of shady spots to hide from the heat at noon, the terrace overgrown with Bougainvillae. We loved watering the potted plants which made us feel even more at home. The children soon mutated into some underwater species, for them the pool was the best thing. In the late afternoon mosquitoes interfered with our general happiness because it was not possible to have dinner outside (maybe that is due to the small pond). Apart from that we would like to recommend a revision oft he frying pans. The helpdesk servicing the house was very friendly although not always up to date.

Lovely location for a family holiday

We stayed here for 11 nights as a family of seven (including two children aged 7 and 9). We had a wonderful time. The villa was well equipped with plenty of pans, crockery etc for the nights we cooked in the villa. The pool was great-we struggled to get the kids out of it, and had plenty of room for us all to play in it. We also had plenty of sunbeds with a mix of sun and shade around the pool which was perfect for us. The air con in the villa was amazing too, which was great on the really hot days. Santa Tomas itself was lovely-the beach was only a short walk (5mins) and we all loved jumping over the waves. The restaurants are mainly attached to hotels or apartment complexes, but there were enough options for us. The paella in Es Pins was delicious! The walk to Son Bou is nice (but on a cool day-it's a 7 mile round trip to get all the way into the town and back). Might be worth bringing some antihistamine cream as we all got bitten a few times over the stay, but guess that the same all over the island. Overall it was a lovely villa in a great location, thanks for letting us stay.

Great location

Spent an enjoyable 12 night stay at Santa Clara. Great accommodation for 5 adults. The Villa smelt a bit musty when we first arrived but this soon resolved. Some problems early on with a broken kettle and pool pump but both sorted quickly by Martin. Also, had to chase maid service and pool cleaning/ grounds maintenance but again, sorted very quickly by Martin and the Management Office. The pool was perfect and well used by all of us. Really loved Sant Tomas- not too big a resort, good amenities and not covered in concrete. Enjoyed having the beach and a few local shops 5 mins away. Sadly the bakery has closed - probably better for our waistlines and buying bread daily for lunch from the mini-market was not a problem. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We used the BBQ most nights. We were bothered a lot by mosquitoes at the villa. We used plug-ins in all the bedrooms and bought a couple of citronella candles for outside. We really needed our tube of bite cream and it didn’t stop us sitting outside in the evenings on the veranda which was idyllic. We used our hired car to explore and really loved our time in Menorca.

Ubicación excelente!Limpieza correcta. Como mejora, se podría reparar el cajón de uno de los baños que al abrir estaba roto y la vitroceramica muy lenta. Resto perfecta, todos los utensilios de cocina y una casa muy espaciosa. Aire acondicionado y ventiladores en todas las estancias.Repetiremos!!!

Nous avons passer un formidable séjour a Minorque. La Villa est parfaitement située pour visiter et parfaitement adaptée pour 8 personnes. La piscine et la climatisation ont été tres appréciées. Les plages,très proches, sont superbes et parfaites. Le contact avec le propriétaire etait parfait et les services au top : nettoyage de la piscine, nettoyage de la villa, changement des draps et serviettes... Une super prestation pour des supers vacances. Je recommande vivement, nous reviendrons. N

Très agréable

Nous avons découvert Minorque et ses criques. La maison de Martin était idéalement située et très agréable â vivre pour nous et nos trois grands enfants. Beautifull villa, gorgeous location

This is a wonderful villa and we genuinely enjoyed our stay. We'd opted for a 'do nothing' holiday this year, just days by the pool&beach, and evenings of good food and scenery. Super séjour

Nous avons passé une super semaine dans cette grande et belle villa. Nous étions 7 adultes et 1 enfant. Le propriétaire est très sympathique ainsi que les personnes pour l'entretien. Maison très propre, au calme ( mais au bord de mer). Une grande et belle piscine. Literie confortable. Tout le nécessaire pour passer de formidable vacance en famille !!!!

After a long career in International Banking, I now run my own Property Management business in the UK,which means I do not get to visit the Villa as often as I would like to but still see it as my little haven!

I have owned the villa for approximately 25 years and have spent so many wonderful holidays here with friends and family and hope my guests will enjoy the villa as much as I do.

Why they chose this property

Having spent a holiday in Santo Tomas in 1992, I decided that if I was ever in a position where I could purchase a property abroad, this would be the location.

The location of Santo Tomas was key to my decision as it is a small peaceful resort and I thought it would unlikely be heavily developed in the future. During the 20 years I have owned the property it has kept it's charm and remains a beautiful part of the island.

The local people, from day one of my first visit to Santo Tomas were very friendly and helpful -even more so, when I bought 'Santa Clara'. As a result my family and I now have many friends in the area and look forward to seeing them whenever we have the opportunity to visit the Villa.

What makes this property unique

Rest and relaxation. By virtue of it's position the Villa is a short walk from most amenities within Santo Tomas, but is also very quiet and peaceful.
