I booked the house for 13 days. I worked initially with the owner, Greg, nice guy. Until on the 4th day plumbing issues began with toilets. After 2 plumbers they could not be resolved and resulted in me having to leave the property mid stay. When the toilets clogged the Property Manager Dionne got involved. That's when things became really toxic. Dionne insinuated we were at fault, denied any compensation for the inconvenience, but offered to returm my money for the unused nights, as did the owner. We had to stay Sunday night because family were flying out on the red eye and I left Monday by noon, after leaving the house impeccable. I was charged for Sunday night AND after leaving Dionne decided she did not have to return my money and offered me a reduced amount as a "good faith" offer. She listed countless broken rules...all b.s., and threatened that she knew top executives at my place of employment! She said we had a 4th car blocking the driveway. It was instacart delivery. She said I was over occupancy, which NEVER happened. BTW the listing says 10, they allow 6 only. And you need to provide your own toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. Property Managers only provide 1 or 2 to kick you off. I'm an owner of a luxury property that I host myself. I would never treat a host this way. My cabin is full of whatever amenities are needed. I would have refunded unused nights and two nights at minimum for toilet clogs. VRBO guest service came through.

This is truly an amazing property. Words don't do it justice. Basically a private beach with very minimal foot traffic. I honestly love everything about this home and the owners are fantastic.

The views of the surf from all the windows never disappointed. Weather was a bit cooler than we would have liked - cutting into our beach time - but being able to watch the birds and the tides from our own little beach made up for it. And that was a good feature to keep the little ones happy. The house had all the features we needed and then some. Very comfortable and welcoming. Oxnard is a lovely, quiet town but we were able to find plenty to do. The "Glass House" gave us the beach experience we wanted literally out our back doors. Great time!

A beautiful, well maintained house. Central to multiple restaurants, stores, etc. Great for large gatherings - separate floors for sleeping, a large, well stocked kitchen, and plenty of "hang out" space.

Perfect Beach Stay

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach house. The house was clean, well stocked, and the location can't be beat. Our family (adults and teens) made many family memories and we'll be sure to be back.

New Year's on Hollywood Beach

Wonderful week at Greg and Dionne's fabulous beachfront property, where every sunset, framed by a towering glass wall, is more beautiful than the next. A perfect venue for a family New Year's celebration. The house had everything we needed for a memorable and comfortable stay.

Perfect Location

The house is conveniently located on the beach and a short walk to the marina. Each day, we could choose to lounge on the sand in the "back yard" or walk to the marina for activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, jet skiing or bicycling. The house had everything we needed. Because it's on the beach, the house is not equipped with A/C but the nights were cool and the floor fans provided were more than adequate.

The house was great with a beautiful view. We were there for the 4th of July, and the rooftop had a spectacular vantage point for multiple firework displays.

Spring Break at Hollywood Beach

We booked this location for a 7-person stay at the end of March 2024. The view was beautiful, the host very accommodating and the house was big enough to support family time with access to many great activities in the immediate surrounding area.

Amazing house, excellent host...2 years running!

We had such a great time last year we returned to do it all over again. Stay was just as good this time. The views and beach access are crazy good and the house has all the normal amenities plus some really cool features and artwork everywhere. Beds are great and the large sliding doors that open the house to beach are just the best. Greg and team were again excellent to work with. Highly recommend for any and all ages and all occasions.

Two story windows and view!

Views. That’s it. You are paying for the absolutely fabulous views this house offers. Two floors of windows face the beach from the living room with unobstructed views. Truly stunning. The owner Greg gave me a very thorough walk through upon arrival. In hindsight, I wonder if this was because of all of the aging quirks. We have rented a number of places on the CA coast and this required the most number of contacts with the host and manager. Both were extremely responsive and apologetic. Lower level bathroom: overhead bathroom light flickers Main floor bedroom facing street: Door to the main living area doesn’t close. Bedroom upstairs: I would call this a loft as the gorgeous glass must remain open due to fire code (per the manager) so limited privacy. Kitchen: Sporadically flashing light on lights under cabinet. Faucet only has one setting (a shower like spray that got me wet every time). Leaking dishwasher (which didn’t happen to work for our stay). Leaking freezer. Again, truly appreciate the responsiveness of both owner and manager. Prefer to not spend my vacation contacting them nearly every other day.

Beautiful Rest a bit

What a beautiful home and location. Guest will fall in love and not want to leave. Very nicely appointed and the master suite is over the top! So are the views and how quite the beach is. We will remember this trip forever. Thanks to the owners/property management for making it easy to check in and out though it was tough to leave we hope we can visit again soon.

A Magical Week :)

The four of us had the most magical week! The home is BEAUTIFUL and had everything we needed to enjoy a restful and peaceful vacation. The Livingroom opens to the beach and the sound of the ocean was ever present. The neighborhood was perfect for morning runs and walks and the sunsets were PURE MAGIC! We visited the farmer’s market and grabbed coffee and treats at Honey Cup coffee shop. We even saw dolphins playing in the water on the last morning of our stay. The host was responsive and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Relaxed and very comfortable stay!

Greg was a very responsive host and made check in as well as check out very easy! The house on the beach is like a dream come true! The beach is almost private and in the vicinity there is a great breakfast restaurant (Hollywood beach cafe) and in the marina there are a few nice restaurants. We hope to come back to this house one day

2023 Family beach vacation

Another thoroughly enjoyable week at this great beach home. From the surf and sand to the stunning sunsets as seen from the roof top deck. Greg and Dionne are wonderful hosts. The Family will definitely be back again next July.

Great Father’s Day celebration 🎉

We had an excellent stay!! The communication was awesome and checking in was great.
