My husband and I loved this place. Great location, clean, beds and linens were very comfortable and the place comes with everything! Quiet and serene.

Perfect Cozy Beach Getaway

We had a wonderful stay! The house is perfectly situated to enjoy Oxnard’s stunning beaches and harbor, and a reasonable drive to all of the other towns we explored (Ventura, Ojai and Santa Barbara). The house was perfect for the 3 of us, had plenty of space on the back patio and was very cozy. Definitely would stay here again!

Exactly as listed except there is no spa. Comfortable bed, lots of room inside and out, quick access to lovely beach. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great place!

We really enjoyed staying at this cute beach cottage. From the beach vibe decorations to great built in bbq to the 2 minute walk to the beach, it all added up to a relaxed, calm vacation. Lisa and her team offered such a personal touch, lots of communication, which is much appreciated!

Excellent Beach Cottage

Terrific location to the beach and overall a perfect property for a “get away from it all”. Very nice back area with a fire pit, grill and BBQ. Would definitely stay there again.

So easy, beautiful- truly a home away from home

The house is so cute! Has everything we needed. The beach is just down the flat street. Our dog loved it too. For sure we will return. The hosts are marvelous and quick to respond.

Awesome house close to the beach!

We drove from AZ to have a beach getaway with our whole family and this place did not disappoint! The backyard was our favorite hangout spot! What an awesome vacation! 10/10, would recommend! We will be coming back!

A little home away from home

Great place to reset and unwind! Steps from the beach, shopping only minutes away, and very nice locals. The house has everything you could possibly need, even down to coffee and creamer. Would highly recommend!

Chic Beach Shack

We (2 adults plus dog) had a lovely time at this property. Everything was as advertised. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet, and the beach was just a few minutes away. Lisa responded to our questions in record time. We will be adding this vacation home to our list of all-time favorites.

Exceeded my expectatuons

Oh My Word!!! It is the most adorable place. From the moment we walked in to the rooms, the kitchen, the wow bathroom the outdoor patio. And within walking distance of the beach. The bedrooms were super comfortable & spacious. The decor very tasteful.the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent the best time there. We were able to use the beach chairs while there, as well as the washer & dryer. We are already planning our next trip there. Wonderful, wonderful cozy place.

A little hiccup but all worked out in the end!

On our 3rd day we noticed there was a bubble of water in the ceiling caused by a lot of rain that happened a few days prior. One quick call to the property manager got us a construction crew to fix the situation. Because they preferred that we not be in the house during the "fix", they relocated us to another property, and allowed us to stay an extra few days without additional cost. It was a little hassle, but we were well taken care of. This property comes fully equipped! Even for your 4 legged friends!

Ideal local beach getaway

This was our second time staying at Chic Beach Shack. It’s a very comfortable space for a small family and a dog. The location can’t be beat, just steps from one of the best beaches in SoCal. We can’t wait to return!

Beach staycation

Our trip ended up better than expected! We are locals who came just for a change of scenery to enjoy the beach. The house was perfect to accomplish just that! Everything was as expected per the posting minus some minor spiderwebs around the front and backyard. Nothing that couldn’t be wiped down before using though! We took advantage of some of the local fun around town and had a blast!

A wonderful vacation with granddaughters.

We enjoyed our stay. Our only complaint is the quality of the cookware. We do not like cooking on scratched Teflon . We loved listening to the military Taps being played every night at 8:08 pm.
