Lovely peaceful villa out of the way down a bumpy track (car essential!) Vultures circling overheard, butterflies and goat bells. Beautiful views of sea and mountains. Kitchen well equipped, comfortable lounge with everything you need if the weather is not perfect. There are loud cats that want to be fed. Lovely pool and outside space as well as balconies. We had a very relaxing stay. Our only criticism is that some of the bedrooms are quite musty smelling and very dusty - could do with a deep clean.

We had the most wonderful stay at this exclusive villa in Kefalas. The location is breath-taking – with panoramic views of the sea and the White Mountains that changed beautifully throughout the day. The villa itself is private, peaceful, and has a true home-from-home feel, with everything you need to settle in comfortably. The pool was a great size and got lots of use! Fantastic BBQ area too. Our host was outstanding – always available, incredibly helpful, and made everything so easy for us. We especially loved the little touches of local life, like hearing the goats in the mornings and evenings, which made the experience even more memorable.Local amenities are just a short drive into the village, and beaches like Almirida, Kalives, and Georgioupoli are an easy drive away. Chania airport was also very convenient, about 45 minutes.We couldn’t recommend this villa more highly – it’s the perfect place if you’re looking for comfort, peace, and views that you’ll never forget.

Pure bliss off the beaten track

Perfect view of sea and mountains off the beaten track. Bit tricky to find but well worth it. The villa had everything you need and the manager responded to queries very quickly over WhatsApp . It was lovely waking up to the sound of the sheep and goats running past with their little bells. A car is a must and there’s lots to do in surrounding areas. Such a lovely holiday

A graet week in a wonderful Villa

We had a great week in this wonderful villa.we had holiday with our family of five adults and there was enough place to all. We enjoyed the pool and the view you have from the house. Everything was nice and clean, and we got quick answer from the owner if we had some questions. The directions to the villa, the owner send in advance, was very detailed and we had no problems to find the villa. Super. We can highly recommend this accommodation

We spent 10 days in Pon's villa. We really enjoyed it. The view, the peace and quiet, the landscape and especially the pool. Our children had a lot of fun jumping into the pool and swimming every day. The pool is a great size, so we could play and swim in together. Pon was always helpful, no matter what. I'll start by saying that the views from this Villa are very beautiful. To find the Villa, use google maps! The roads are very rocky but if you have a bigger vehicle, you should be fine. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great during our visit, so we weren't able to use the pool at all. This is something that can't be controlled but when booking because of the pool, make sure to come during the summer season. Hopefully the host will consider making the pool a heated pool so guests who come when it's cold, can still enjoy the pool. For cleanliness, I expected it to be cleaner. For example, the tablecloth on the dining table was very dirty. We tried cleaning it but ended up just taking it off during our stay. The towels we were given were very old and stained (they were once white but looked grey), I would have appreciated some newer and cleaner towels. Although this is true, the host was very considerate as they provided a crib and highchair for my one year old, which made things a lot easier. One thing I really wasn't happy with, was the internet. This was an extra fee which I didn't think was fair and it wasn't great and only worked when you were downstairs. I'm sure the villa is more enjoyable during the summer, but all in all, this Villa was beautiful, but it could benefit from some upgrades and changes like new games, a heated pool, new towels and a binder that gave all the information and instructions you would need during the stay.

Great place for a relaxing holiday

The villa is a bit remote, but a great place. We took a few days just to stay there and relax in this beautiful place with wonderful view to the sea and the mountains. But all the sights in the west of Crete are also in good distance; we hiked the Samaria Gorge, made a beach trip to Elafonisi, visited the monastery Arkadi and the nearby beautiful Chania. In the house everything was perfect, the pool very refreshing and the terrace an awesome place to relax. The communication with our host Pon was always quick and very friendly, the access no problem with detailed pictures and description. Small supermarkets and nice tavernas are within a short drive. If we come back to Crete some day, we'll definetely return here!

Stunning location

The villa is amazing. All amenities included, except WiFi. There is an odd request for £50 for this after we booked. The WiFi doesn’t reach upstairs. The pool and gardens are regularly maintained and are beautiful. The view is stunning. It’s an out of the way location, so peaceful but you need a car. Many beaches a short drive away. The villa is well managed and any requests were dealt with immediately. Definitely recommend a stay here for a peaceful holiday.

Very quietly located spacious villa with great views and nice pool

During our stay of only 2 days we enjoyed the villa and the surroundings. The villa is accessible via a dirt road, so nice and secluded but still reasonably close to a small village. If you like peace and quiet, this villa is highly recommended. Because the villa was already fully booked on the other days, we could unfortunately only stay here for 2 days. Otherwise we would have liked to have stayed here longer. The contact with Pon, the host, was very pleasant. If we had to mention a point of criticism it is that after the booking it turned out that an amount had to be paid extra because the stay was shorter than 4 days, which was not apparent from the description on the website, but this will probably be a shortcoming of the platform. Maybe this could be added to Vrbo's website.

The Perfect Villa

We chose this villa based on the amazing reviews from previous guests - and now we'll add our own. The location of the Villa is perfect high on the cliffs looking out over the sea. It feels remote, but it is only two minutes from Kefalas with a couple of tavernas and a mini market and 20 minutes drive from Georgioupoli and Almyrida with more amenities. The villa and grounds are both of a good size, with a superb infinity pool and the BBQ house/outdoor kitchen is a great addition. Being so high up, there was a cooling breeze to keep the edge off the heat as well which was a bonus. We could have spent all week at the Villa but there are plenty of lovely beaches and swim/snorkelling spots within easy reach - Octopus Bay was the best for a snorkel. It goes without saying a hire car is needed here and the track is rough but entirely manageable if you take it slowly. Communication with Pon was simple and easy, he helpfully advised where we could hire a boat (Antonis in Almyrida), the best supermarket etc. and directions were detailed and very helpful. Overall we had an amazing week in the most amazing Villa, thank you Pon!

Nous y étions en avril. Un accueil très sympathique de la part du propriétaire et de son équipe; une villa très agréable, bien conçue, décorée avec goût; une piscine tout à fait conforme; un petit jardin coquet; un paysage merveilleux, au milieu de la nature, des chèvres et des moutons; un petit village très sympathique avec des habitants très accueillants, à quelque minutes de la villa; des petits restos typiques; des visites à faire à ne plus savoir que choisir. Schöne Villa mit Pool und toller Meer-Sicht

Hübsche und geräumige Villa mit drei Terrassen und grossem gepflegten Garten. Von zwei Seiten aus hat man eine überwältigenden Blick auf die Almyra Bucht und die Berge. Der Pool ist gross genug zum Schwimmen und sehr gepflegt. Die Villa liegt etwas ausserhalb von Kefalas, so dass Privatsphäre garantiert ist und dennoch Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe vorliegen. Ein Auto ist allerdings unverzichtbar. Die Gegend ist abwechslungsreich, man ist schnell an schönen Stränden, pittoresken und ursprünglichen Dörfern oder in grösseren Ortschaften wie Rethymno, Georgiopolis, Chania. Auch Tagesausflüge an die Südküste sind gut möglich. Wir waren zu zweit in der Villa und können sie absolut weiter empfehlen, auch für Familien und Gruppen! Das Essen in der Gegend ist phantastisch und es gibt viele kulturelle und archäologische Stätten zu besuchen.

Amazing location with incredible views. The pool was brilliant and the property had good facilities, even a couple of family games to use during bad weather. We had a sand storm during our stay that knocked out the WiFi, but our host was helpful and efficient at sorting it out quickly. We had a great stay and would love to visit again.

Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet, Pool direkt vor der Terrasse. Außenküche mit Grill. Sehr gepflegter Garten. Besonders der Blick auf die Bucht von der Terrasse aus ist toll. Für die Zufahrt zur Villa ist ein geländegängiges Fahrzeugsinnvoll. Kontakt zum Vermieter schnell und unkompliziert.

Entspannung mit traumhafter Aussicht

Bei der Villa handelt, es sich um ein mit Liebe zum Details eingerichtetes Objekt. Alle Dinge des täglichen Gebrauchs sind vorhanden, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wenn etwas gefehlt hat, dann hat sich unser Gastgeber Pon Logan sofort darum gekümmert. Generell war Pon ein sehr aufmerksamer und sorgsamer Gastgeber, der stets erreichbar und auch mit Tips hilfreich war, das hat sich schon beim Check In Vorgang bemerkbar gemacht. Was wir besonders genossen haben, ist das die Villa abseits des Trubels liegt. Es ist wirklich eine Oase der Ruhe mit einer traumhaften Panoramaaussicht über das Meer. Hervorzuheben ist auch der kleine Anbau mit gemauertem Grill. Im angrenzenden Dorf Kefalas lassen sich alle Dinge des täglichen Bedarfs ohne weiteres bekommen, die Einheimischen sind sehr freundlich und hilfreich. Wir werden sicherlich nochmal kommen, der Urlaub war für uns rundherum gelungen. Die Villa und ihren Gastgeber kann ich wirklich jedem ohne bedenken ans Herz legen. Viele Grüße, Ralph und Familie.

Entspannter Urlaub

Eine wunderbar entspannte Woche im perfekten Ferienhaus. Ein sehr aufmerksamer, freundlicher und immer hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Das nächstgelegene Dorf ist gut zu Fuss erreichbar und die Zufahrt zum Haus über die unbefestigte Strasse ohne Probleme mit jedem Auto zu bewältigen, solange man nichts tiefergelegtes mietet und aufmerksam und langsam fährt.

Villa met schitterend uitzicht

We hebben 14 dagen genoten van deze mooie villa en omgeving. We waren met 4 volwassenen en 1 kind van 2 jaar. De contacten met eigenaar Pon waren goed, altijd snelle reactie bij vragen. De Villa was gemakkelijk te vinden met de aanwijzingen van Pon, de weg naar de de villa is wel erg hobbelig en niet zo goed voor de auto! Het uitzicht over het zwembad is adembenemend mooi. De foto's op de site zijn niet meer actueel, er is een mooie overkapping bijgebouwd waar je heerlijk onder kunt ontbijten en s avonds kunt zitten. Elke dag komen de geiten voorbij met hun tinkelende bellen. Het zwembad en BBQ huis zijn fantastisch. De villa heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, sanitair is prima, douches zijn ook opgeknapt met glazen deuren. De bedden liggen goed, er is 1 slaapkamer beneden en 2 boven, mooi baby bed. In Kefalas zijn een paar Tavernes waar je goed kunt eten en 2 kleine supermarkten voor kleine boodschappen. Voor grotere supermarkten moet je wel een eindje rijden. Het strand van Almerida is ideaal voor kleine kinderen, en dichtbij met leuke tavernes. Uitstapjes naar Chania en Georgepouli gemaakt, zoon en schoondochter hebben de Imbros kloof gewandeld. Verder heerlijk bij het zwembad chillen. Wat niet duidelijk op de site wordt aangegeven is dat je voor internet en strandhanddoeken extra moet betalen. Er is geen schoonmaak inbegrepen na 1 week, bij aanvraag wordt dit gedaan voor 80 euro. Zag nergens brandmelders en brandblusser in de villa! Het was een heerlijke vakantie

Ein wunderbarer Aufenhalt

Wir haben die Villa im Dunkeln erreicht, über den holprigen Weg. Pon hat sich im Vorfeld alle Mühe gegeben undxuns eine sehr gute Wegbeschreibung gesendet. Mit etwas Fahrgeschick, ist der Weg gut zu meistern. Wir haben die Autovermietung genutzt, die Pon seinen Gästen empfiehlt. Dasckann ich nurvunterstreichen, wir wurden am Flughafen von einem Mitarbeiter empfangen und uns wurde ein tadellos sauberes, neues Auto übergeben. In der Villa angekommen, konnten wir einen ersten Eindruck vom Äußeren in drr Dunkelheit erhalten und waren schon begeistert, herrlich beleuchteter Pool, schöne Terrasse. Auch die Villa innen ist toll! Es gibt 3 schöne Schlafzimmer, 2 ziemlich gleichwertige Bäder, alles bestens und sauber. Der Blick am nächsten Morgen, über den Pool hinunter aufs Meer, fantastisch! Ein feines, saubers , gepflegtes Anwesen, mit schönen Blumen, Sräuchern und Bäumen. Vor der Einzäumung ziehen Ziegen und Schafe jeden Morgen und Abend vorbei. Herrlich! Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet, alles vorhanden. Das Grillhaus sußen haben wir auch genutzt.Ansonsten sehr ruhig gelegen, nach Kefalas ca 5 min mit Auto. An den herrlichen Strand außerhalb Georgiopolis ca 20 min Fahrt. Auch die Kommunikation mit Pon war sehr gut und nett. Er hat nachgefragt und auch sofort auf Anfragen reagiert. Wir haben die 2 Wochen dort genossen! Ich kann die Viola bestens empfehlen!

Other unique feature of the Villa is that you get balcony for each bed room allowing all guests to enjoy the stunning view from the bed.The Villa is situated in the middle of 1500 sq.mt. land and this land is fully secured by stone wall which gives the complete security and allow the children to freely move around the Villa Garden.

The Villa garden has plenty of Olive trees, Palm trees, Apple trees, Pear trees, Plum tree, Apricot tree, Fig tree, Pomegranate tree, Grape tree.

The infinity swimming pool has large green grass area with 03 Palm Trees. This Palm Trees give you the opportunity to hide away from the hot sun. These shadow area has sun bed and chairs.
