We really enjoyed our visit! Description was totally accurate! Property is amazingly quiet!The hostess was always available for any questions or help. When we arrived frig already had drinks, fruit and a few homegrown vegetables. She even brought us a homemade orange pie which was delicious!! Pool was great! So clean! Highly recommend this beautiful village!

My wife and I have just got back from a wonderful 7 days at this Villa, its much better than the pictures in my mind. Its so peaceful and the views are amazing.The local area has so much more than I expected, a car is needed unless you like walking but there is plenty to do after a very short drive.Llia the lady who meet us was brilliant, she was on hand for everything we needed but not intrusive in any way, Thank you.We didn't want to come home and if not for Family commitments would have tried to stay longer.

Loved it!

Property is lovely and had really good social spaces. The area is great and not touristy which we loved. Great restaurants in Vámos and Kefalas.

We had a fantastic summer holiday at villa Eleonas. The villa is set in a very peaceful area with wonderful views over the White Mountains, the scenery really is amazing. Villa Elonas is wonderfully comfortable and the pictures were very accurate - the rooms are well decorated and despite being relatively hot in the middle of the day in August the air conditioning was very effective. The dishwasher and washing machine were useful for us during our stay. The pool was enjoyed by all the family; it was a good size to swim some lengths in the morning before breakfast and the children enjoyed jumping and splashing about. We found the location perfect as the villa was very peaceful yet we could still walk (about 20 minutes or so) to at least 6 different Tavernas for dinner. We managed to walk to three tavernas – Ortaki, Eleonoras and Meterizi – and enjoyed the food very much with a combination of traditional and some more modern dishes. Our host Ilia was very kind to us with great communication so she was there when we arrived to let us in and show us the villa and she also left some essential food and drink (the tomatoes tasted amazing!). Overall we loved villa Eleonas and were rather sad to leave it when our holiday came to an end.

Amazing

Thank you Ilia & Marianna, we’ve had a fantastic time. The Villa, garden & surroundings were perfect. Amazing views of the mountains and so quiet (except the odd cockerel :-)). This place is a real gem and wouldn't hesitate to return. Thank you again for an amazing stay.

Beautiful villa

We had the most amazing time at Villa Eleonas. Lovely location, really private and felt very secure. The house was so well equipped we didnt need anything! Communication with the owner was super quick and amazingly helpful. Would definitely stay again, thank you for such a lovely holiday! Xx

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Eleonas, it proved to be the perfect get-away location for two weeks of much needed peaceful rest and relaxation.Our host, Ilia, was welcoming, friendly and always on hand if required; we especially appreciated the generous gift of fruits from the garden. Thank you Ilia.The villa is spacious, very well-equipped and clean. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces were excellent for our needs and the main bedroom was extremely comfortable. There are several outdoor seating areas for meals, drinks, or relaxing by the beautifully clean and well maintained pool. The views towards the mountains are a delight and we had sunsets to enjoy most evenings with a glass of wine.The property is close to Almyrida and Geourgioupoli where there are lovely sandy beaches with clear, clean water and plenty of dining options. The local villages also all have good value restaurants to explore; our favourites were Eleonoras in Drapanos, Ortaki in Kefalas, Thalami and Psaros in Almyrida and Poseidon in Georgiouploi. Rethymno, Chania and the airport are all within a one hour drive of the villa.The only tiny issue was with the phone signal and wifi in the area, which made it a bit tricky to plan days out online. However, one of the principal reasons for choosing Villa Eleonas in the first place was the rural, away-from-it-all location, so this is probably to be expected.Overall, a superb villa, which we would highly recommend and love to revisit.

Lovely Villa and pool, peaceful location

A lovely property with a cottage like feel to it, everything you could need is provided including plenty of food for breakfast which was very welcome as we didn't arrive until 3am. The outside area is what really makes this property so beautiful, the views are stunning from every side, the pool is a really good size and immaculately clean as was everywhere inside and out. We made good use of the BBQ and surrounding outside areas and enjoyed many evenings around the pool or walking (about 30 mins) to the local tavernas. Marianna was very helpful and always available throughout our stay and provided suggestions for places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again.

Magnifique endroit pour les amoureux du terroir et de la tranquilité. Trois petit hameaux à moins de 2 km, accessibles à pieds avec des habitants accueillants. La villa est belle et propre, parfaite pour une petite famille. Nous avons adoré.

Petit paradis en crete

Située dans une belle région, la maison est propre et bien équipée et bien entretenue. Elle est facile d’accès ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas en Crète. La piscine est très agréable, le barbecue en pierre est fort pratique. Les hôtes sont toujours disponibles et donnent des bonnes adresses. Le ménage entre les deux semaines est un plus, c’est une prestation que peu d’hôtes offrent. De plus la piscine est régulièrement entretenue. J’ai rarement vu un tel niveau de prestation.

Magnifique maison en pleine nature proche de belles criques où faire du snorkelling ! Les propriétaires sont disponibles, réactifs et très très gentils ! Comme tous les grecs de la région d'ailleurs !!! La piscine est très belle et propre. Bref, je vous le conseille, nous avons passé un super séjour !

Woche im Westen von Kreta

Das Haus liegt leicht erhöht auf einer Bergkuppe mit Blick auf die Berge. Nachdem wir den richtigen Weg gefunden hatten, haben wir nur noch 15 min runter bzw hoch gebraucht. Das Haus selber ist toll auch der Pool ist klasse. Es ist sehr ruhig. Leider gibt es fußläufig nicht viel zu sehen, aber insgesamt eine gute Ausgangsbasis um den Westen Kretas mit dem Auto zu erkunden.

Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang. Es standen Getränke, Obst und Brot bereit für den ersten Tag. Marianna ist immer erreichbar gewesen und hat sofort Tipps und Hilfe bereit gehabt. Alles Top

Alles war toll: Aussicht, Pool, Schmetterlinge im Blumengarten. Die dicken Steinwände lassen die Hitze draußen. Wir hatten eine sehr angenehme un entspannte Urlaubszeit. Unsere beiden Kindern haben den Pool genossen. Die Aussicht ist herrlich. Das Haus ist mit allen ausgestattet: Waschmittel, Shampoo, Duschgel, Servietten. Uns hat ein riesen Obstkorb, eine Flasche Wein und lokales Gebäck erwartet. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, gerne wieder

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in der Villa Elenora sehr genossen, Marianna war sehr freundlich, in der Villa standen sogar schon Mineralwasser, Gebäck und Olivenöl zur Verfügung.

Very nice!

A very nice house with a great pool and everything you need starting from towels, through kitchen equipment. Everything is according to the description and late/ early check- in/out is possible. The host is very friendly and always reachable, if something happens, she’s there to support you. In the area there are many traditional taverna’s and local shops. It’s a perfect location to escape the beaten path and just focus on your family, friends and enjoy the quiet.

Rundherum sehr zufrieden und Erwartungen übertroffen…

Wir könnten sehr viele Details aufzählen, die wir allesamt als sehr positiv bewerten können. Wir sind absolut konstruktiv kritische Menschen und würden definitiv auch Verbesserungspotential oder Defizite benennen. Bei diesem Urlaub und speziell dieser Unterkunft gibt es nichts zu meckern - im Gegenteil, es wurde regelmäßig gereinigt, die Ausstattung war üppiger als beschrieben, alles hat wunderbar funktioniert, das Haus ist so liebevoll und praktisch eingerichtet - wie wir es selbst auch bei Eigentum machen würden. Nichts „zusammen geschustert“ und authentisch. Obendrein haben wir uns mit der Eigentümerfamilie sehr gut angefreundet und falls nur eine Kleinigkeit gefehlt hat, wurde sich direkt sehr liebevoll gekümmert. Von daher - 100% Weiterempfehlung!!

Hervorragend geeignet für Paare die wirklich Ruhe und Erholung suchen, liebevoll eingerichtete Villa mit schöner und gepflegter Aussenanlage inkl. Pool, mit tollem Service (alle 3-4 Tage saubergemacht, frische Wäsche und Handtücher) in wunderschöner Umgebung, ideal für viele Unternehmungen auf Kreta, Kommunikation mit Vermieterin problemlos (z.B. Whatsapp), wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und den Aufenthalt genossen

Haussituation

Das Haus ist praktisch hat aber im Wohnbereich keine Gemütlichkeit. Leider stand nicht in der Beschreibung das der Pool erst ab 13 Uhr (großer Baum) und bis ca. 18 Uhr Sonne hat. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt ok.
