La Villa "La Certosa" est une villa de style Le Corbusier caractéristique mais moderne, située au coeur de la campagne toscane, dans la ville de Pise et à quelques kilomètres de Lucques Florence et du bord de mer.

La villa "La Certosa" se trouve au pied des Monti Pisani, au cœur de la paisible campagne toscane, une région très appréciée par le poète Dante Alighieri.

La villa est meublée avec goût dans un style moderne-classique et offre tout le confort pour assurer un séjour vraiment relaxant où vous pourrez profiter de l'air frais de la Toscane et de la belle campagne environnante.

Chaque chambre est équipée de la climatisation et d'un balcon d'où vous pourrez profiter des vues spectaculaires sur le paysage panoramique.

De la terrasse du solarium, savourez les fabuleuses vues sur les Monti Pisani et les anciennes villes qui se nichent à leurs pieds et qui s'illuminent progressivement avec le soleil couchant.

A good family week near Pise

A nice house, 20mn away from the historical center, 40mn away from the beach, 30mn away from Lucca. Very convenient and we had a wonderful time.

A gem in the Tuscan countryside

We stayed at the villa for a week in June with family. The villa was excellent and the swimming pool was ideal. There was also free wifi. The surrounding area is beautiful and there is a regular bus service to Pisa, approximately 20 minutes away. Despite our late arrival because of a flight delay Tomasso was there to greet us. He was an excellent host and we will definitely consider returning in the future. There was a very good Chianti available for purchase at an excellent rate and he gave us a bottle of sparkling wine as a present before we left. I would highly recommend this property.

Lovely peaceful Villa with amazing views and pool

This villa really is fantastic, one of the best we have stayed in. Pietro (the owner) is on hand to help during your stay and was brilliant, responding quickly to all our requests for help and advice. He purchased our train tickets for us to Florence, and even led us to the correct station car park in Pisa at 7:00 am! Pietro respects your privacy and quietly cleans the pool/terrace every morning so it's clean and ready for when you wake up. The villa is large, clean, comfortable and well maintained with everything you need to enjoy your stay. The air-con in the bedrooms was most welcome, but the villa stays cool during the day in any case. The pool was fabulous. Largest we have ever had. 2 metres deep to enjoy the dive board (shallow at other end) and large enough to have a proper swim and play. You can easily spend a day around the villa with the pool and bar-b-q. The location is peaceful with great views to the mountains. There is a fabulous Gelato (Ice cream shop) 2 mins drive away with various restaurants short distances away. The supermarkets (Lidl/Carrefour) again only 10 mins away, with convenience stores closer. Easy to find from Pisa airport (20 mins) and Lucca again is a 20-25 minute car drive. Our favourite days were spent around the pool followed by a trip to Lucca, a cycle around it's city walls and then a meal out in the amphitheatre. So good we did it twice! I would highly recommend this Villa if you want to experience Tuscany. Thank you Pietro, we hope to be back again one day!

Beautiful House in Beautiful Tuscany

We were a family of four who stayed here in June 2019 - two adults and a 9 and 14 year old daughter and son. The property was exactly as advertised. It is an absolutely beautiful property - spotlessly clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The free wifi was fantasic. We loved the rural setting with views of the mountains. The couple who run the shop on the corner are very friendly but the shop is not that well stocked but it is still worth a visit for coffee and to sit and chat with the locals who are also very friendly and who invited us to a community pizza night. There is no washing machine in the property but I would not let this put you off as there is a self service laundromat at the top of the road across from the shop, with three washing machines and two tumble dryers. The pool is wonderful and spotlessly clean - our kids loved every minute of every day in it as did we. We also enjoyed a night time swim which was a real treat for all of us. The pool was cleaned regularly by Pietro before we got up in the morning. He was extremely helpful and very kind to us during our stay and recommended restaurants, places to visit and was there if we ever needed him. For the days not lounging by the pool, which you will not want to leave, there are some special day trips to enjoy - namely Pisa, Florence and one most definitely not to be missed is Lucca - where you should hire bikes and enjoy it's beauty. A car is recommended for this property as you will want to visit the beautiful towns and villages of Tuscany. If you get the chance, be sure to visit San Gimignano - you will not regret it. Book this property with the confidence that you will love it as we did. Thank you Pietro for a wonderful week and for all your help and kindess. We would love to return someday.

Nice surroundings and outdoors

Very pretty location. Outdoor space and swimming pool were good. The house is very large. Tomasso, the owner, is very accommodating. He let us check in early and although we were late arriving, he wasn't bothered. He provided a cot and high chair at no extra charge. A few things however could definitely be improved. The kitchen was not very clean when we arrived. We had to clean some of the glasses and pans ourselves. The fridge had mould in it so we had to clean that thoroughly before putting anything in it. The dishwasher broke during our stay which meant we had to wash everything by hand. It also leaked which meant the floor was wet. Tomasso was very quick to come check out the problem but unfortunately was not resolved during our stay. There is a lot of clutter in the house which, personally, I did not like. I would prefer the house to be less personalised and easier to maintain/clean. There were not many towels and those that were provided were very small (also no tea towels in the kitchen to dry hands or washing). It would have been nice to have been provided with pool towels as well (I had to use my towel for showers and for the pool as we didn't have enough). Lastly, with the house being in the countryside, there were a lot of insects and, mosquitos were particularly annoying. There is nothing the owner could do (there is mesh on the windows) but I would suggest taking mosquito spray with you.

Dear Simone, thank's for your appreciation of the pool and of the surroundings.that's what people say when come over here!Also thank's you noticed the villa is large and spacious. Just a couple of things to answer to your opinion. The problem in the kitchen has already been sorted out as I bougth a new dish washer and a new fridge! What you call clutter I call decorations to make people feel comfortable and relaxed just being at their own house. I provide as many towels as people require just by asking for having others.Also I put pool towels just on top of the chair next to the outside shower that you didn't see. Last a spry and mesh on the windows are defenitively enough to have no problem with the mosquito.

Villa très tranquille dans un charmant village loin du tourisme de masse!

Le logement est très pratique avec une décoration un peu chargée à notre gout mais l'entretien est impeccable. La piscine au top plus grande que sur les photos, éclairée le soir et le jardin très bien entretenu. Le village est a priori sans grand intérêt mais les quelques commerces sont bien tenus et l'accueil magnifique. En quelques jours nous nous sommes sentis chez nous. Endroit idéal pour les balades à vélo, tout est plat et par les chemins de champ on peut faire des heures de vélo sans croiser une voiture. Tout est plat autour et en direction de la mer mais si les jambes sont en forme en quelques minutes on est dans les Monti Pisano avec des cols à 600 ou 800 mètres. Les possibilités de balades sont infinies au milieu des vignes, oliveraies et pinèdes. Le centre ville de Pise est à 20 minutes de vélo et la mer à 1h30. Un séjour inoubliable. Merci à Pietro pour ses conseils et son service en toute discrétion.

Ruim huis met prachtig zwembad

Het is een groot huis dat wat gedateerd is. De kamers zijn ruim en op de slaapkamers hangt er een goed-werkende airco. Er zijn 2 badkamers: in de ene badkamer is er een bad, de andere heeft een douche. De douche is heel smal, je staat tussen 2 douchegordijnen en daar is weinig ruimte. In de keuken staat de basis, maar van het fornuis werken slecht 3 van de 5 vuren. De oven moet je handmatig aansteken want de ontsteker werkt niet meer. Het lukt allemaal, maar het is niet zo gemakkelijk. Buiten kun je goed beschut zitten om te eten. Ideaal bij warm weer. Het zwembad met springplank is geweldig. Daar hebben we veel plezier van gehad. Op wandelafstand is er een kruidenier waar je 's morgens brood kunt kopen. Het huis staat in een rustige omgeving en is de perfecte uitvalsbasis om Pisa of Lucca te bezoeken. De gastheer is zeer vriendelijk en gastvrij. Hij doet er alles aan om je verblijf zo goed mogelijk te maken.

Tolles Haus und ein großartiger Gastgeber

Wir haben zu viert eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem Haus verbracht. Unser sehr netter und aufmerksamer Gastgeber Pietro hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen, das Haus vorgestellt und war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns mit Tipps versorgt. Pietro hat jeden Morgen den Pool gereinigt und den Garten bewässert. Nach einem Grillabend war am nächsten Tag sogar der Grill gereinigt! Das Haus ist traditionell und sehr authentisch eingerichtet. Alle Schlafzimmer haben eine gut funktionierende Klimaanlage und auch im Wohnzimmmer ist es selbst in diesem sehr heißen Juli angenehm. Der Außenbereich mit der schönen Terasse mit einem tollen Grill und der Pool sind ein Traum. Unsere Jungs und auch wir haben es sehr genossen, uns im sehr großen Pool abzukühlen oder auf einer Liege zu chillen. Das Dorf ist sehr schön und ruhig. In ca. 1 Kilometer Entfernung gibt es ein Eiscafé mit sensationellem Eis. Das nächste Restaurant mit guter Pizza ist etwa 6 Autominuten entfernt. Ein sehr großer Supermarkt (Carrefour) ist in 10 Autominuten zu erreichen. Pisa und vor allem Lucca sind tolle Städte und in Calci gibt es ein tolles Naturkundemuseum, was insbesondere auch für Kinder sehr zu empfehlen ist. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und danken unserem Gastgeber Pietro herzlich!

"Gepflegte" Ferein

Das Haus befindet sich in Campo. Ein kleines Kaff, welches zu San Giuliano Terme gehört. Ziemlich abseits von allem und doch mit dem Auto nur 15 Minuten von Pisa, 30 Minuten vom Meer und 30 Minuten von Lucca entfernt. Pietro wohnt gleich nebenan. Er ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und hat gute Tipps für Ausflüge, Einkäufe und Restaurants. Jeden Morgen bewässert er den Garten und reinigt den Pool, dann verschwindet er wieder, ist aber jederzeit erreichbar. Der Pool ist der Hammer! Die Kids haben ihn geliebt. Beleuchtet ist er bis Mitternacht und eine Aussendusche hat es auch noch. Das Check-out ist bereits um 9.00 Uhr und nicht um 10.30 Uhr, wie im Inserat angegeben. Aber wenn man das Haus zur Reinigung frei gibt, darf man noch länger bleiben und auch baden. Im Grossen und Ganzen tolle, erholsame Ferien.

Traumhaftes Haus mit extrem aufmerksamen Vermieter

Das Haus hat sehr viel Platz und ist schön eingerichtet. Alle Angaben zum Haus und der vorhandenen Ausstattung stimmten. Lediglich die angegebene Kaffeemaschine gab es nicht, dafür waren italienische Espresso Kannen und eine Bodrumkanne da. Die nicht vorhandene Waschmaschine war überhaupt kein Problem, denn es gibt im fussläufiger Entfernung einen Waschsalon und auch einen Mini Supermarkt, der alle Dinge des Alltags vorrätig hat. Die Größe des Pools mit Sprungbrett hat uns sehr beeindruckt. Der hintere Beckenbereich mit einer Tiefe von 1.20m ist auch für ungeübtere Schwimmer*innen ausreichend groß genug. Die Lage des Hauses ist hervorragend, um die Toskana zu erkunden. Der Blick auf Felder und den Monte Pisani sind traumhaft. Bei der Fahrt zum Haus sollte man nicht Google vertrauen und anstelle über die Felder zu fahren, den minimalen Umweg über das Dorf nehmen. Der Vermieter hat uns sehr liebevoll empfangen, sich um wirklich alles gekümmert und uns mehrfach mit frischen Blumen, Tipps und Hilfsangeboten versorgt. Ein großes Dankeschön an Pietro!

Great house, even greater host

We've stayed in many rented vacation homes in Tuscany over the years, but have enjoyed few as much as this one. The house itself is great - modern (AC in all bedrooms), but decidedly Tuscan. The swimming pool is great - it's larger and deeper than usual , allowing for actual swimming, not just splashing about, and we really enjoyed the outdoor dining area with the bbq. What really stands out is the host, Pietro. He's the best host one can ask for - always there for you if needed, able to give lots of recommendations for dining and activities, very friendly throughout... but invisible when you don't need anything from you. He even cleans the pool and bbq area every morning. Highly recommended!

Never felt so welcome

We visited with our two teen daughters.. The „Landlord“ Pietro has a way to make you feel really welcome. We Would definitely visit again.

Fantastic Villa

We stayed at the villa for a week in September. We were a party of 5 adults from England. The property itself was fantastic with great facilities. The pool was wonderful and we also took full advantage of the free wifi. The area is very pretty and the information that Pietro provided really enhanced our experience. Pisa was only 15-20 minutes by car such as Lucca. We will definitely consider returning. If anyone is considering this property as a holiday rental I would encourage you to take it and have no doubt you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Amazing villa for a family holiday. Great pool, great location for Pisa, Luccaand Florence.

We are a family of 5 with the kids being in there early twenties, the villa is everything you want it to be and has an amazing swimming pool. The location really needs a car which we had but is perfectly located to explore Pisa, Lucca and Florence. We took the train to Florence which is so easy to do. Pietro the owner is great and is there if you need him and not if you don’t. Don’t be put off by the fact his property is next door, the only tone we saw him is when I need help or advice. There is a great BBQ and outside dining area which we enjoyed. Book with confidence, you will love it. Thanks Pietro it was nice to meet you. Steve and family.

Fantastic pool!

We have had a lovely holiday with our two teenage children. The house is well equipped with good air conditioning in the bedrooms. This was very much needed as it was very hot! The pool was great and cleaned very kindly by Pietro every morning before we woke up. The location of the house is convenient for visiting local attractions. We particularly enjoyed visiting Lucca and cycling on the walls. The only drawback to the property was a lack of places to eat within walking distance although there was a small supermarket at the end of the road and a gelato shop a km away.
