Thank you for taking the time to give such a detailed review. We are pleased that overall your stay was excellent and that you thought our property was nearly 5 stars. We have been delighted to have perfect 10 ratings on Vrbo throughout our 15 years of operation. On our routine maintenance trip we tested the oven and found that it was working fine so I'm just wondering if it was not on the correct setting as the dials are a little worn. We will review the microwave for next season. We have repaired the bathroom lock -it was affected by the unusual heat this summer. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will ensure information about bin days is in the house file for next season. We always find is is quickest and most accurate to check what neighbours are doing so I was trying to be helpful. We did ask specially for our housekeeper put out one bin which was full so you didn't have to do that. We note that all the windows have special bolts for security and children's safety. We were aware that some slip closed and have been trying to find someone who can repair this-it's not proving easy but we will certainly keep trying as we always want The Auction House to be in tip-top condition for our guests.
