Perfekt tilbagetog for to personer. Den Boathouse er blevet renoveret til en meget høj standard overalt. Let og luftig med synlige bjælker, eg gulve og høj spec køkken og brusebad. Det er blevet omhyggeligt designet og godt udstyret til en behagelig, afslappet pause. Privat terrasse med udsigt eksotisk plante have og udsigt igennem til flodmundingen. Off-street parkering. Knap 1 mile fra Kingsbridge bymidte, en blomstrende købstad med maleriske kaj, karakter high street, to supermarkeder og torvet. Den meget populære Crabshell Inn pub ligger lige ved kajen og kun 8 minutters gang væk langs flodmundingen. De populære turistmål i Salcombe, Dartmouth og Totnes er kun 15-30 minutters kørsel væk. Vores nærmeste strand, syd Milton, er smukt og kun 15 minutters kørsel væk, mens de kystnære ture på tilbud er spektakulære. Ugentlige bookinger (lørdag til lørdag) maj til slutningen af ​​september. Korte ophold (3 nat minimum) til rådighed på alle andre tidspunkter.

The Boathouse lived up to our expectations. Compact, but with everything you need including a large double bed, lots of storage space and appliances and equipment of excellent quality. It felt private with our own little terrace. A great week’s stay! Thank you

A very enjoyable stay

A very nice place to be. Clean, well-decorated and well-equipped. Space at a premium but used very well. Parking a little awkward but a great location for exploring South Devon. Thank you, Fleur and Rob.

The boathouse is a delightful property in a beautiful location

I grew up in the Kingsbridge area so we really enjoyed visiting old haunts and seeing old school friends. My only comment would be that the boathouse is at the top of a steep flight of steps which my husband who has difficulty walking found difficult. I do not recall this being mentioned though I may be wrong. Anyway we managed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely superb holiday apartment. Warm and cosy even in a cold snap, extremely well equipped and well thought out and maintained. Lovely part of the world and the Boathouse is well situated for visiting all the local sites.

Fabulous place!

A perfect, clean and modern accommodation for two people. Situated in a beautiful area with easy access to shops, pub and wonderful places to explore for walkers especially. Short drive to beaches too. Excellent and easy booking and communication with owners. Would highly recommend this property!

Great stay in Kingsbridge

The Boathouse, Kingsbridge

A perfect self-contained single bed annex situated in an ideal location to explore this lovely part of Devon. I can't think of anything that was lacking. The southern facing of the property and its small associated yard is ideal for catching the sunshine. Highly recommended.

Lovely clean property and lovely owners.

Beautifully appointed and clean. The parking was quite challenging and stressful as the property is positioned on a very busy main road and on a bend. The property was spotless and of a high standard and with lovely approachable hosts.

Wonderful Week Away!

What a lovely week overlooking the estuary and visiting local seaside villages and towns, National Trust properties and boat trips. The Boathouse is on a road but not too busy and so convenient for exploring the locality. Superb, would return! Thank you :-)

Superb accommodation

Everything in the property was top quality. Well maintained and scrupulously clean. Thoughful extras included, much appreciated. Fleur and Rob were very helpful and friendly. Short walk into Kingsbridge with a good choice of eating places especially The Old Bakery.

Wonderful property in a beautiful location.

Very inviting property which impressed us immediately. Spotlessly clean, beautiful and modern interior of the boathouse with off street parking and total privacy both inside and on the terrace. Location is ideal for visiting the beautiful South Hams area of Devon. The hosts Rob and Fleur are delightful and had provided everything one could wish for to ensure our holiday was a success. To top it all it was sunny every day! Chris and Christine. May 2022.

Lovely bright and airy property.

As always with vrbo the booking and management of the property was stress free. Communication with property owner was prompt. Description of the beach house was exactly as documented. Very well equipped, light and comfortable. Perfect for a short or longer stay. Good bus and boat links to many local places to visit.

A Hidden Gem

My partner and I had an amazing stay at the Boathouse from start to finish. We like to say a big thanks to Fleur for the excellent communications leading up our stay - she was super information and made the check in process and real breeze. The accommodation was spotless and beautifully designed. It’s the perfect size for a couple and comes with an awesome kitchen and all the utensils you could ask for, plus dishwasher and awesome oven. The bathroom had a great walk in shower and a sky light and the bedroom comes with a decent size wardrobe and a modern tv with Netflix etc (as does the living room). The highlight for me was the premium BBQ on the wooden terrace! The properly is about 15 mins on foot from Kingsbridge and on route you’ll pass the rather nice Crab Shell pub restaurant. If you’re looking for a home from home whilst visiting Devon then I highly recommend the Boat House :) Thanks Fleur and Rob for a lovely stay!

Lovely property in great location to explore South Devon

The property was clean and in really good condition, with everything you might need - including lots of pans, utensils etc for cooking. It was also really light and airy with large south facing windows with estuary views. The location was very handy to access many of the beautiful local beaches and coastal paths.

Little break

This little annexe was perfect , cosy warm and perfectly formed although we actually drove out to burgh island and Salcombe to explore kingsbridge is a nice little town .. with two supermarkets as you come in so perfect for supplies ...the crab shell pub is a short walk away and the food was very good !! ...we never actually met fleur but had great communication and she’s a fantastic host ... a little gem which we would highly recommend and love to come back too xxx

We are Fleur and Rob. When we converted The Boathouse our aim was to create the look and feel of a boutique hotel, but with the peace and seclusion of a holiday cottage. Fleur is in charge of bookings and Rob takes care of the maintenance.

The great thing about Kingsbridge is that not only is it a thriving market town year round, but it's also located on the beautiful Kingsbridge estuary. No matter what time of year the rolling countryside and estuary make Kingsbridge a lovely place to be. Plus the central location of Kingsbridge makes it a great base to explore the wonderful coastline, countryside and other market towns of the South Hams.
