Great house, perfect for a group of friends or family. Location is amazing, close to cut harbour and shops, and not far to cycle to other villages. House was clean, and lovely social area for dinner and relaxing. Dipping pool is great for cooling off or chilling around. Only improvement suggestion would be a large cafetière, they do have a small mocha pot and nespresso machine though! Communication was great and they kindly offered later check out too. Thanks for everything, we had a great time!!

Pretty and comfortable home

Our hosts were welcoming and kind. The house was exceptionally clean and well equipped for our group. The rooms were large and very comfortable and we loved being just around the corner from the market in La Flotte.

Beautiful home in the charming town of La Flotte. Very conveniently located a few blocks away from the market and shops, but in a quiet street. There was plenty of room for the whole family and the children loved playing in the shared garden. Be aware that parking is not permitted on the road, but there are public parking areas just a short walk away.

Beautiful home away from home!

Gorgeous home located minutes from shops, restaurants and the water. Fully furnished property with lots of bedrooms and modern bathrooms. Loved the cute guest house that sleeps 4. The location is so close to town, you don’t miss using your car. I would recommend renting extra bikes.

The house is perfectly located in La Flotte and was accurately described. All the rooms were clean and the kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery, etc to meet the needs of the 10 people in our party. The attached annexe proved very useful allowing one of my sons to stay there with his family. The pool, although smallish, turned out to be perfect for the younger members of our group aged four to six.All in all, a delightful property and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only points of note were that some of the wine glasses were particularly fine and we unfortunately lost three of them. Perhaps some more chunky IKEA type glasses would be more practical. Also, although the wisteria looks wonderful both during the day and at night, it does need a prune. Thank you for letting us stay at your home Alexis

Fantastic location and a beautiful neighborhood

The house itself is gorgeous and located literally 2 minutes walk to supermarket and bakery, 5 min to the food market and harbor and 10 min to the beach. Even a lazy person like me had no issues walking to everything - in heels I might add - and the village is the new love of my live. Super nice people, great restaurants, it was just perfect. What puts the grade down a bit is the following; - no lights on the toilet upstairs for the entire week. It was broken when we came and wasn’t fixed during our stay. - there was a really bad smell of sewage coming from the same toilet which spread to the entire upper floor - the outdoor dining furniture were rusty and extremely uncomfortable - the oven didn’t work properly - the lounge cushions were dirty - the pool had not been cleaned before our arrival. We had to remove bugs and leaves and the water did not look fresh - due to language difficulties (we don’t speak French and the landlord spoke very poor English) we had to wait outside the property for 15 min before the landlord arrived. Not something you appreciate after 6 h in a car. At checkout we had to wait a full hour longer that planned. This was all due to misunderstandings because of the language barrier. - our neighbors were renovating their house and started drilling at 9 every morning. A reasonable time if you aren’t on vacation and would like to sleep in on occasion. However this isn’t the house owners nor the landlords fault of course but it did effect our experience. But these are all minor issues and we still grade this as a super fantastic vacation and the contact with the owner has been really great. The landlord also gave us some tips on beaches and brought extra pillow cases upon request. So overall a very positive experience! Raise the bar on maintenance just a bit and there will be a full pot for sure.
