You'll enjoy those meals on your private balcony or in the spacious living room with a wood burning stove.
If you need to keep in touch with the outside world, you do have free high speed WIFI, as well as satellite TV.
'At the Bay's Edge' is the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate, or to use as a base for exploring the Sonoma Coast. You'll have access to wine tours, whale watching, world class golf, kayaking, fishing, clamming, hiking, biking, deep sea fishing, olive oil and cheese tours, and kite surfing. Whew! Lots to choose from, and something for everyone.
Bodega Bay is located just an hour and 15 minutes from San Francisco, and less than an hour from Napa and Sonoma. The Russian River is just 15 minutes away, so there is truly something for everyone.

The Sonoma Coast is one of the most beautiful and dramatic places in all of Northern California. It's somewhere that I wanted to spend time, so a vacation rental made a lot of sense. I truly enjoy sharing my home with people from all over the world, who appreciate life on the water as much as I do.
Staying on the water is a vacation in and of itself. The immersion of life according to nature....watching the tides come in and out, enjoying a sunset from your private deck, watching the pelicans fish for their dinner and the river otters playing....there's just nothing like it. Many people don't realize the diversity of wildlife up here. Bodega Bay is also an active fishing village. You can go out deep sea fishing on a fishing charter, or I can tell you where to buy the freshest fish, or enjoy the best local clam chowder. There's something for everyone here in Bodega Bay!

We stayed in this studio for 2 nights and absolutely loved it! It's been completely remodeled and is just amazing. It is right on the water and just beautiful. We had a great time!
My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary here and fell in love with this property! It totally captures the flavor of Bodega Bay where you have privacy located in the heart of the activity.!
This place has a gorgeous view located right on the bay. Stocked with everything needed and the owner was very responsive. Can't wait to see what it looks like after the upcoming remodel.
This house was in a great location - right on the water!! I'm glad I read ahead of time that it needs some updating, and some general clean-up - because it does!! The owner has a little book that explains that he hasn't owned it very long and plans to start the re-model in November - but......I think some heavy-duty cleaning, and a good carpet cleaning (wasn't much carpet to clean so that would have been an easy fix) would have been a great idea, and that wouldn't have broken the bank. The balcony was my favorite part - very small but enjoyable - and right on the water. We enjoyed seeing the activity of the marina, and the boats coming in and out. Walked to several different restaurants and shops, very close to everything. The balcony chairs and tiny table were very rusty and old looking. Some inexpensive resin table and chairs would have been better, another very inexpensive upgrade. The owner has his hands full with this remodel - but the location makes it worth it!
The view was great but the property needs some renovations. The kitchen was well stocked and there was an abundance of games, books, and other reading material. The driveway was very challenging. It was very difficult to drive up and you are right on HWY 1 and not able to turn right. I understand Steve is going to start renovations in Nov. 2016. I hope he also considers doing something with the driveway.
We found a note from the owner explaining that he will be renovating the apartment this fall . However, we were not made aware of the condition prior to moving in. Updating is one thing, but broken tile on the kitchen floor, dirty windows that make it hard to enjoy the view, blinds that don't work to keep the sun out in the late afternoon; these are things that I think could have been addressed to make guests a bit more comfortable prior to a full renovation. The daily rental rate was comparable to a king sized room with a view at a very nice hotel in town where I am sure the room would be clean and the amenities in good working condition.

$100 refundable deposit due upon booking. Cancellation for full refund must be made 21 days prior to arrival date. Remaining balance due 20 days prior to arrival.
If paying full amount by check at time of booking, 10% will be deducted off entire stay.
