Ein. Absoluter. Traum. Das Haus, das Grundstück, die Lage und der Blick sind noch viel besser als wir es uns aufgrund der Fotos erhofft hatten. Die Vermieter sind unheimlich nett, unkompliziert und setzen neue Maßstäbe in Sachen Gastfreundschaft. Der Kühlschrank war am Anreisetag randvoll.

The perfect villa

We had the loveliest week staying at Villa Melanthi and we are very grateful to Heidi and Spiros for their wonderful hospitality. The villa is just as beautiful as the pictures (even better!). It’s clean and spacious and has beautiful views. We loved cooking lunches on the BBQ and sitting out in the sun overlooking Albania. The ping pong table was an added bonus too! Thank you Heidi and Spiros!

Beautiful villa in a stunning location

What a wonderful stay at Villa Melanthi. The villa looked stunning in the photos, and it didn’t disappoint in reality. Spiros an Heidi greeted us on our arrival, and the accommodation was spotless. We then discovered that the fridge was filled with all the essential ingredients we needed to start our holiday, a lovely touch. The location was stunning and quiet, just a short way from Kassiopi centre. Many lovely bays nearby too. Would highly recommend.

A lovely villa in a great location with spectacular views

We stayed for a week in Villa Melanthi and were delighted with it from start to finish. Spiros and Heidi were extremely responsive and helpful with any request and the location, being only a few minutes from Kassiopi and other small towns, bays and beaches was perfect. The villa is spacious and kept very clean and tidy and the outdoor areas including the infinity pool are perfect for whiling away hours in the sunshine admiring the spectacular views. We would have no hesitation in going back to stay should we return to Corfu.

Wonderful villa

Fabulous villa with wonderful views. We had two teenagers with us so the separate access to their room was perfect. Great hosts who couldn’t have done more for us. We’d definitely stay there again.

Absolutely Perfect

From start to finish everything was exact. Photos do not do villa Melanthi justice. What a gloriously lovely place to spend time. Hosts were amazing. Welcoming and kept the villa spotlessly clean.

Beautiful villa with stunning views!

We spent a week at Villa Melanthi and it was beautiful! The views still took our breath away by the end of our stay! We hired a car and went into Kassiopi most evenings which was lovely (you could walk in but it would be a dark walk back with small children). The nearby beach was beautiful and fairly quiet, even in August. Spiros and Heidi were on hand for anything we needed, and Heidi kept the villa spotlessly clean. Would 100% recommend this property and hope to go back!

Superb staying in Villa Melanthi

We had a 7 days holiday in Corfu and Villa Melanthi was our choice! It was just as beautiful as pictured in the description but the real vibes of the place were even better. The villa is comfortable for 2 families with 2 children each, because there are 2 king size beds bedrooms and 2 bedrooms with twin beds. The master bedroom on the first floor has a incredible nice sea view. You can also see the sunrise from the bed. But I super appreciated that the curtains were light proof. So you can sleep longer if you are that kind of person. :) Also I was so happy that the kitchen was equipped with a Nespresso machine, so I enjoyed my fav coffee in the morning. If you have a car, note that the short road to the villa is a bit steep. Thank you Heidi and Spiros for everything.

The best villa ever!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Melanthi, the owners Spiros & Heidi are lovely, made us feel very welcome and looked after us well. The welcome pack had everything we needed to get us started and was much appreciated. The Villa has every luxury we needed and more, it is remote enough not to be bothered by immediate neighbours and the views of Corfu and across the sea to Albania are stunning. The infinity swimming pool was fantastic and very welcome for a cooling off! There are plenty of places to eat in nearby Kassiopi . Agios Stefanos and Avlaki are only a short drive away and both well worth a visit for the tavernas and the peace and quiet. Our only negative comment is the photos do not do the Villa justice!

Beautiful home with unbelievable views

A beautiful home set at the top of a hill with fantastic views looking out to the sea. There are no words to describe the splendor of the view from the infinity pool. Spiros and Heidi were fantastic hosts - they kept the villa immaculate for the whole time we were there. There is a stone-built BBQ which is fantastic, and Spiros and Heidi provided us with the charcoal. They were ever so thoughtful - even brought us freshly laid eggs from their hens on a couple of days. We went for 11 nights at the beginning of April. Just a word of caution that in Kassiopi village (a 20-25 min walk from the villa) the majority of bars and restaurants were closed - many do not open until 1st May. Despite this, we had an absolutely wonderful stay and would love to go back when it is more in season, i.e. May onwards. Highly recommended to everyone (except those with walking difficulties as the hill to the villa is very steep!). Thank you Heidi and Spiros!

Fabulous villa, amazing views

We had a great week on Corfu. Excellent location (although road up to villa is a little steep). Amazing views and a very well appointed villa, everything you could need. We visited at the end of the season Oct 21-28 so we didn’t make that much use of the pool as it was a little chilly. however, our daughter still did 50 lengths each day. Kassiopi is 25 minutes walk away or less than 5 mins in the car. Highly recommended one of the best villas we have stayed in.

The property was very clean & stocked for breakfast as we arrived at midnight. Heidi even drove us down to the port to catch the boat into Corfu town as we did not have a car!!

A Perfect Week Away

We loved staying at Villa Melanthi. Spiros and Heidi were a joy to deal with. From booking to arriving and finding Heidi there to show us round the property was a lovely welcome. All the fresh food and goodies in the fridge was a lovely gesture. During the holiday Heidi also came in and cleaned. Such a lovely lady and nothing was a problem and we communicated with each other during the holiday as well. Lovely touch. Definitely recommend a car as we did. Driving into Kassiopi took 5 minutes but to walk would take a good 20minutes. To get to the property is steep and walking in the heat could be a challenge. However the views from the villa are amazing and you would never get tired of the view. From sunrise to sunset just beautiful. We would definitely recommend this property and would love to return one day. This time we won’t leave it another 28 years till we visit Corfu!!!!!

Fantastic Villa

Everything about this villa is amazing, fantastic views, lovely pool and outside space, interior is beautiful and to a very high standard. It is private without being remote and everything you need only a short distance away. The villa was spotlessly clean and Louiza, the maid, was great, very discreet and thorough. Both Spiros and Heidi are exceptionally considerate owners, not intrusive in any way whilst still being close at hand should any problems arise. I would not hesitate in recommending Villa Melanthi to anyone and will definitely be returning.

Fantastic villa, views to die for!

This is the best villa we have stayed in. It is large and spacious (we were a party of 4 adults and 3 teenagers) well equipped with amazing outside space and pool in an elevated position above kassiopi which provides unbelievable sea views along the coast and over to Albania. The villa is situated close enough to walk into kassiopi on an evening and there are plenty of taxis to bring you back if you don't fancy walking back after a meal and a drink or two! Heidi and Spiros are excellent hosts, very welcoming and warm and friendly. Both are on hand to help with any queries you might have. We would highly recommend staying here.

Best holiday ever

Five star villa set in absolutely stunning location Heidi and Spiros greeted us with open arms and nothing was too much trouble for them we had an amazing two weeks of relaxation and swimming in the beautiful pool taking in the stunning views that the villa offered. Kassiopi harbour full of good restaurants to eat and also found the local people to be very friendly and accommodating phoning taxis for you when you want to return back to the Villa. We can highly recommend the Villa for anyone who is viewing it at the moment we will definitely return !!

Spent a week in this lovely villa with wife,daughter and sister in law.From the moment we turned into the driveway you could tell this was going to be a special place.The view was spectacular across the olive trees out over alvaki down to the sea.The pool was lovely and had plenty of terrace space to stretch out on.The terrace around te villa was very well designed having a good sized eating area and a lovely chill out chair plus a smaller table looking down over the olive grove down to the beach .The. villa inside was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed plus everything worked unlike several villas we,ve stayed in.The pictures on the website don,t do the villa justice and I would say it is easily the best villa we,ve ever hired..The villa is a credit to the owners who were both very friendly.Hope to return as soon as possible.

Wonderful Corfu Holiday

Just coming to the end of a wonderful 2 week holiday in the Villa Melanthi in Kassiopi. The villa is just superb and owners Haitho and Spiros have done everything to look after us and make us feel welcome. In fact, this is our first holiday in Greece and we have been struck by the kindness and helpfulness of everyone, shop keepers, waiters, taxi drivers and so on. The villa is in an elevated position with a superb view over the sea to the mountains of Albania. The house and its fittings are of a very high standard, very clean (Haitho was doing the cleaning herself ) and the infinity pool is quite special. We enjoyed some of Haitho's mum's great cooking and Haitho also arranged for us to receive fresh sea bass which we enjoyed on the barbecue. We were very taken with Kassiopi itself, a lovely little port surrounded by some very good restaurants and bars, with a nice selection of shops to browse. Recommend hiring a boat and taking a little trip along the coat to San Stefanos and other beaches/ villages. You'll gather that we are delighted with our stay ! Only thing to be aware of is the steep rough road up to the villa, not a problem if you are hiring a car or taking taxis home after a night out, but quite a climb in the heat of the day for those of us getting on a bit. Many thanks again to Haitho and Spiros.

My name is Spiros and as a child I used to holiday in Kassiopi since it was my father's birthplace. 25 years ago, I decided to make it my permanent home since I was in love not only with the people and the town, but the way of life.
My wife Haitho and I designed and built Villa Melanthi ourselves. With your comfort in mind, we have added many personal touches and we are confident that you will feel this is your home away from home.
