Nicely situated summerhouse with gorgeous swimmingpool in Gordes (free WIFI)

This fully enclosed and secured property (9000m², south orientated) lies upon the hill of Gordes and offers absolute stunning views on the Luberon and the historical villages. By the picturesque donkey-path it is only a five minutes’ walk to the heart of the village.
It is a nice holiday home with an open kitchen (fully equipped), one master bedroom (with shower), two bedrooms and one bathroom. Next to the house, two 'bories' are furnished into a bedroom (only from June till September) annex bathroom. A little down in the garden, the romantic “mazet” has a separate bedroom with shower.
The pool (6x16m) is absolutely gorgeous and is heated from mid May till mid October (28°). The setting is very private and can be considered as most unique in the Luberon area.
This green and quite property is very well suited for one or two families and is a children’s paradise.
Pets allowed.

The pool is the highlight of this property being about 20 metres long, however as it was late in the season the water was getting a little cooler. The property is extremely large and very close to the small town of Gordes with access down and old donkey track. We had an amazing relaxing 10 days at this location exploring the region. Would highly recommend.

Très bon séjour dans un lieu privilégié, à proximité de Gordes où on peut aller facilement à pied par le sentier. Tout en étant protégé de la foule, dans ce grand parc extraordinaire avec une vue magnifique sur la montagne du Luberon. Les dépendances très pratiques pour partager des vacances avec ses amis. J’ai particulièrement apprécié la grande piscine dans laquelle on peut même faire des longueurs. La maison principale mériterait cependant un rafraîchissement (problèmes de plomberie pendant le séjour, et literie à changer dans la chambre de la baie vitrée). Accueil très sympathique de Mokhtaria.

Villa très bien situé, Gordes et les environs c’est magnifique

Villa à besoin de rénovation, c’est très de base et surtout pas d’air climatisé, impossible de bien dormir La piscine est bien mais pas directement en sortant de la maison.

Home away from home in Gordes

We had a great time in Gordes and enjoyed staying at this vacation home. The privacy of the property, the nice view of the surroundings and the great swimming pool was much appreciated.

Amazing property

Just a 10 minutes walk along an old footpath down to the village but a world away from all the tourists. The grounds and pool are incredible as are the views. It was just the two of us but could also work for a small group although there's only one WC in the main house. It was really hot when we were there but fans were provided.

Spectacular property above Gordes with a wonderfully relaxed feeling. Six of us enjoyed the privacy and the beautiful views over the valley. The pool was fantastic. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked most nights so we could relax on the terrace.

Amazing Family Stay in Provence

The property is ideally located on the edge of Gordes, superb views of the town and area but excellent privacy on the property. The buildings and grounds are exactly as pictured and exceeded expectations. The main house is very functional and well equipped, you can tell that the owners use the property themselves and want it to be cozy and comfortable. The small house is a perfect extra space. The pool and grounds are beautiful. Many places to eat good meals outside. Very easy access to Gordes and local attractions. Owner and property management team are very accommodating. An excellent experience, we hope to stay again!

Emplaçement et environs formidables. Le terrain de la propriété est merveilleux. La piscine est très grande. Pouvoir aller à pied à Gordes dans quelques minutes tout en restant au calme dans le jardin était super. Nous avons passé de très belles vacances. A refaire.

Wonderful estate perfect for a family with pets

We were 10 people and 2 dogs and stayed for a week. It was fantastic. The house is so well equipped, there is really nothing to complain. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms are really nice and the pool is perfect. We played Boule, grilled almost every evening and used all 4(!) dining areas. This is so great. We are keeping this on our list of "must come back". Philip and family

Le domaine est immense et la maison bien équipée. Je retire 2 étoiles au niveau propreté, car la piscine étaitait verte (algues) durant tout mon séjour malgré l'intervention du pisciniste. Sinon avec la piscine correctement entretenue la propriété est fantastique.

Das Haus bietet alles, was es braucht, um einen schönen Urlaub in der Nähe eines der schönsten Dörfer Frankreichs zu verbringen. Schon die Größe des Grundstückes ist beeindruckend, und das fussläufig zu Gordes. Vom Pool hat man einen schönen Blick auf das Luberon und abends kann man den Blick vom Grill aus genießen. Was in Frankreich nicht so häufig ist, hier findet man es: es gibt sehr schöne Wanderwege vom Haus aus, mit denen man die Gegend erkunden kann.

Belle résidence en Luberon

Un séjour idyllique

Tout le charme du Lubéron est concentré dans cette propriété magnifique. Le calme, la vue et la convivialité. Une piscine magnifique et de vrais moments de détente autour du terrain de pétanque ….. Pas besoin de voiture pour vous rendre à Gordes, le chemin des ânes qui longe la propriété vous y conduit en 10 minutes Après votre séjour, une seule envie vous domine, celle de revenir très vite...

Séjour Magnifique

Notre groupe de 11 personnes du Canada a apprécié notre séjour en Provence sur cette magnifique propriété. C'est un excellent emplacement pour les excursions d'une journée dans toutes les régions de Provence, à quelques pas de la boulangerie locale pour votre pain quotidien. Le propriétaire et le concierge étaient très sympathiques et serviables. La propriété était incroyable avec une grande et spacieuse cuisine et salle à manger, un court de pétanque et une piscine avec vue. Nous avons apprécié les herbes locales et les légumes dans le jardin. C'était une belle touche. Nous avons également apprécié la sécurité du terrain, entouré de larges murs rocheux et fermés. Nous étions un peu mal à l'aise de laisser un tel dépôt de dégâts, mais il a été retourné deux semaines après nos vacances sans problème. Merci de votre propriété étonnante, nous partons avec de nombreux souvenirs.

Wonderful!!

Liebe Frau Vets, Wir hatten eine herrliche Woche auf Ihrem Anwesen. Das Wetter hat natürlich dazu beigetragen. Viel bedeutender aber war der freundliche Empfang durch Florence, die bereitgestellten und liebevoll aufbereiteten Informationen zum Haus, dem Kräutergarten und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Vielen Dank an dieser Stelle für den köstlichen Wein, den wir gleich an unserem ersten Abend verköstigt haben. Das Anwesen und der Ausblick ist noch viel imposanter als auf den Fotos zu erkennen war. Alle Räume, das Mazet, die Terrassen und der vielseitige Garten (Pool, Grillplatz, Petanque) sind mit Liebe zum Detail und äusserst geschmackvoll eingerichtet bzw. angelegt. Alles in allem viele gute Gründe bei unserem nächsten Besuch in der Provence, wieder bei Ihnen einzukehren. Herzliche Grüsse Annekathrin Thomsen (Mai 2017, 4 Kinder und 8 Erwachsene)

Wonderful summer house with lovely view

We enjoyed our stay in this wonderful summer-house. Pictures match reality. Very large infinity pool, which was very well maintained. All kinds of toys were available. Garden next to the pool was nice to play badminton or other games. There was also a separate children's play area, which we did not use (yet). Kitchen was well equipped. Extra freezer and refrigerator in the garage came in handy. Second terrace with gasbarbecue was ideal for charming dinners. A lot of different corners on the domaine, which made it possible to change the setting or have some privacy. Main bedroom in the house with separate bathroom was beautiful. Also the Mazet and the Bories were very cosy and offered some extra comfort with their separate bathrooms. The walk to the village of Gordes takes only 10 minutes, on an almost private path. We recommend this house to everyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing holiday, in the heart of the Luberon.

Wonderful!

We spended a wonderful time in Gordes. The house and the garden are perfect and so tasteful. All things you will need in the house are available. Gordes and the surrounding area are great for holiday. We spent a lot of time with cycling and sightseeing. Sure we'll be back!

Parfait

La location correspond parfaitement aux photos et à la description. Le calme et le charme sont au rendez-vous. La vue de la maison et la piscine est magique. L'aménagement est simple, propre et fonctionnel, rien ne manque à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur. La piscine magnifique. L'espacement entre les différents lieux de vie ( piscine, mas, mazet, barbecue ...) peut être un plus ou un moins, c'est selon. Il faut considérer la chambre-borie ( charmante) comme appoint, tout le monde n'est pas volontaire pour y coucher. C'est un paradis pour les grands comme pour les petits.
