If you are visiting the Palouse or just passing through, I would love you to consider staying at the Red Pheasant House.
Enjoy a private, brand new, modern, open beamed, 2 bedroom, 1 bath, with a fully equipped kitchen. Contemporary details and amenities compliment the Palouse views and pastoral grounds. Free Wifi, large screen TV, private entrance, patio, gas BBQ, heated tile floors, pet and smoke free.
This secluded acre is located in Moscow, just minutes from downtown and the University of Idaho in the rolling hills of the Palouse.
Treat yourself to the tranquility and restorative energy, listen to the sounds of Pheasant, Quail and other bird life or sit and swing under the cottonwoods.

Really enjoyed our time here. It was beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Well stocked kitchen. Don't forget your slipper as the apartment is warm, but the floor is cold. The beds were more comfortable than my bed at home.

The place was absolutely perfect, beautiful, clean, comfortable, and I loved the kitchen. We use the barbecue grill and had wonderful dinners. There. We were visited by a neighborhood cat who is super friendly, and a bunch of pheasants on the property. I would definitely stay there anytime I go to Moscow. Melanie was readily available and Susan who helps manage. The property was super friendly and very nice. It is by far one of the nicest places I have ever stayed.

At risk of sounding like Goldilocks, it was JUST RIGHT. Pretty, neat as a pin, comfortable, modern, well-designed and maintained. The only caveat I would offer is bring your own coffee maker if do not prefer to make your coffee with a French press. And if you're good with that, no problem! This place is a most excellent choice.

The Pheasant house is a cute little place in a quiet neighborhood up on a hill. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again.

What a wonderful, quiet place to stay! The beauty of the spring and the peacefulness were added bonuses to a well kept VRBO. We’ll be looking to stay there again.

Amazing Home

This was our favorite place yet in Moscow/Pullman. We came for parents weekend (WSU). Melanie is responsive and made sure we had everything we need. Her home is gorgeous and has all the amenities and special touches. The property is beautiful and serene but close to town. We can’t wait to return!

Great place to chill

The house was far enough away from the city to be nice and quiet, but about a five minute drive to stores, bars and restaurants. Nicely furnished, nice sized kitchen. The beds were very comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The Wi-Fi was out, so I wasn't able to watch any football, but that wasn't a deal breaker. I plan on staying there again next fall.Q

Cute Moscow retreat

This is a cute 2 bedroom apartment-style home attached to the owner’s residence. Melanie called me several days before the trip to give me lots of details, she followed up with a text and was there when we arrived to show us the place. This home had everything we could need and we really enjoyed it.

Spotless in quiet neighborhood

Super cute, VERY clean home nestled on owner’s home, but still private. Beds and pillows super comfy! Loaded kitchen w/ new appliances. We didn’t need wifi, so I’m not sure if there is wifi. I’d definitely stay again!!

Serene Palouse Get Away

The Red Pheasant House is a short drive from downtown, yet in the quiet countryside of the Palouse. We got to sit outside and enjoy our morning coffee. It was a natural beauty. True to its name we saw a pheasant. We also saw quail, ducks, and song birds. The host obviously takes great care to make you feel welcome. It had everything we needed for our weekend visit. I recommend anyone visiting Moscow to stay at the Red Pheasant House.
