Cantinho Oliveiras, our beautiful holiday home can be rented as a 4 or 5 bedroom villa for up to 10 people. Pool heating to 25 degrees is included in the rental price. The rental prices shown are for 4 bedrooms, and the fifth bedroom costs an extra £280 per week.

Our beautiful high quality property is located in Sesmarias, 3km west of Albufeira, in lovely semi rural countryside, within easy walking distance, only 400 metres, to the beach at Praia do Coelho (Rabbit Beach). The popular beaches of Gale, Sao Rafael, Evaristo, Castelo, and Sao Lourenco,, some of the best beaches in Portugal, are also within 2/3 minutes drive.

We can arrange reliable reasonably priced car hire at Faro Airport, and taxi or mini bus transfers.

For those not familiar with the Algarve or Albufeira, the area to the west of this popular resort is considered the best places to stay by seasoned visitors. You will find at least eight beautiful sandy beaches and coves within just a few minutes of our small selection of villas, most with beach bars and restaurants. There are several well stocked supermarkets and a huge selection of good restaurants to choose from. Although close to the Algarve’s most popular resort Albufeira, we find most of our guests only pay the odd visit into Albufeira, preferring the beauty and peace and quite of the area around our villas, and its fabulous beaches. Within easy walking distance are several restaurants and bars, a small shop for day to day essentials, and a supermarket. There are other larger supermarkets with two minutes drive.

Easy Self Catering
Especially for larger parties, If you would like to take the pain out of the cost of dining out regularly, or the strain out of cooking for your party whilst on holiday, the nearby Apolonia Supermarket at Gale offers a daily range of ready made meals in their delicatessen which are excellent. They are normally available every day as starters, main course and desserts and you buy it by the kilo so you can take as much or as little as you like.

The menu changes each week.

Cantinho das Oliveiras has been beautifully and tastefully decorated, furnished, and fully equipped to the highest standard, and is set within its own very private walled garden with electric controlled gates.

The attractive heated swimming pool is heated to 25 degrees included in the rental. Heating up to 30 degrees is £260 pw), tiled in light grey and white tiles, is 10m x 5m and has just one depth of 1.4m. A table tennis table is also provided for guests use.

The garden is on one level with terraces, lawns and a big covered barbecue and dining area next to the pool and house. The garden will be a major feature of the villa with lots of local stonework and a beautiful running water feature with waterfall down a stone wall in an enclosed grotto.

A bus service into Albufeira, and to Gale beach runs from nearby, making this villa suitable for non-drivers.

The superior accommodation consists of:

Spacious entrance hall leading to the sitting room with two large glass sliding doors overlooking the swimming pool and terrace. There is an attractive wood burning fire behind a lifting glass panel for early and late season use. Flat screen satellite TV with BBC, ITV and Sports channels.

The kitchen is fitted with fabulous gloss black units, a very attractive feature, and has an oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, large American fridge / freezer, and a hatch to the dining room. The washing machine is outside in the barbecue house.

On the ground floor is Bedroom 1 which is a double bedroom, fitted wardrobes and beautifully tiled en-suite shower room with walk in shower, two basins, WC and bidet.

There is also a guest washroom with WC and basin.

Bedroom 5 is a double bedroom and only used when the villa is rented with 5 bedrooms. It has fitted wardrobes, its own en-suite shower room with WC and basin, and a door to the garden. This bedroom is only used when rented as a 5 bedroom property.

From the spacious hall, a very impressive sweeping staircase in polished black stone leads to the other bedrooms on the first floor.

Bedroom 2 has twin beds, small dressing area with fitted wardrobes, a door to its own balcony, and en-suite shower room with WC, bidet and basin.

Bedroom 3 is also a twin bedroom with small dressing area with fitted wardrobes and a door to its own balcony, and en-suite bathroom with bath, WC, bidet and basin..

Bedroom 4 has a double bed, door to its own large balcony, fitted wardrobes, en-suite shower room with WC, bidet and two basins.

From the top landing, there is a door to a large terrace, and steps to the huge roof terrace which enjoys panoramic sea views, and has table and chairs.

All linen and towels are provided. Bed linen is changed once per week and towels changed twice per week. Swimming pool towels are also provided.

Free WiFi internet and maid service 3 days per week (more if you want).
