Ideally situated, the villa is a short walk from the sand dunes, the protected lagoon and the long beautiful Maspalomas beach which stretches along the coast from the nearby Faro lighthouse as well as the cafes and shops of Melonares. It is a stunning private upmarket hacienda style villa a 55" smart TV (with full range of English, German, Spanish TV channels, Netflix, Amazon Prime etc etc.,) and features an expansive garden (perfect for sunbathing) including its own private solar panel heated swimming pool as well as a second larger communal pool situated behind the property. It is quiet and secluded yet all the modern facilities (restaurants, supermarkets, taxis etc) may be found less than a 5 minute walk. The villa is a 3/4 minute drive from the busy nightlife of the Yumbo, Cita and Kasbah centres in Playa del Ingles as well as close to all the main holiday attractions; Holiday World Fairground, Aqualand, Sioux City, Perla Canaria, Go Karting, Jeep Safaris and Camel tours. The main Maspalomas golf course is a 2 minute stroll.

La casa es muy bonita y su valorisación son el porce y el jardin con la piscina privada.Un consejo es de curar un poco la limpieza de la cocina al cambio de los uspedes.En general nuestro estar ha sido perfecto y Colin es un dueño muy amable

We went for 12 nights and the villa was great the host was very helpful and the property was very clean would recommend the area was nice walking distance to everthing is possible but a taxi is only about 5 euros i would definitely recommend

Nice villa Great location

The villa was ideally located, with a local supermarket about 5 minutes walk away, that stocked everything you'd need, and also within walking distance to the Yumbo Centre and the Beach both were approximately 25 minutes walk away. The villa itself was clean and very well equipped, and the outdoor space with the heated pool was very private and a great area to relax. The communication with Colin was excellent and the booking in process with Beverly was very smooth. We all loved the villa and hope to book again soon.

Nice villa with great community pool

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Communication was great with an easy check in process via the local agent. The villa is showing signs of age with some plugs damaged or not working and a few patches of mould in the ensuite. The Aircon in the bedrooms was excellent and well needed in a very hot August. The kitchen was well equipped but hot to cook in. Outside area was nice but the pool is salty as doesn't use chlorine. The community pool is 30 seconds walk and was large and empty. The kids loved it. 30 min walk to the promenade of Mespalomas where there are lots of nice restaurants. We got several taxis which were really easy to use and only 5-7 euro. Local area was generally quiet although you could hear the local resort discos in the evening but it was silent from 10:30ish. Shop is 5 mins walk. We did struggle with insects inside the villa but it was very hot when we stayed. We used a can of insect killer spray to try and kill them each night. I imagine this is common in this area.

Good time had by all

We have just come back from a 9 night stay, villa was lovely, it’s was mega hot so the air conditioning was a must. Some of the plates, bowels etc were dirty when we got them out to use but that’s nothing to do with the cleanliness of the villa, that’s the people before us! The little pool in the front garden was lovely but we also had access to a bigger one out the back which is used by other villas but hardly anyone else used it, the kids thought it was great. Beach is about a 20 min walk, bit longer for us as it was so hot. There are plenty of buses that we used regularly to explore the island and these were fab and a good price and the stop by the villa is about a 2 min walk so it was perfect. Beverly collected us from the airport was lovely and even stopped at the supermarket on route so we could get some supplies for that evening. We used the local HiperDino supermarket which catered for all our needs. If there was one thing that could be improved it would just be a local map showing where to go for everything, we founds things quite easily but a local map would of helped. Fab time had by all.

Ideally family holiday

Great location and well positioned for all that Gran Canaria has to offer. The property is as advertised, well equipped and it was fantastic having the private pool! Colin and Beverly were great to deal with and we’d certainly recommend this villa to other families. Go, you’ll have a fantastic time!

Very relaxing stay

My wife and I stayed with 3 children aged 11,12 and 13. We all had a great, relaxing time at the villa. We found it all to be fully equipped with everything we needed. My wife particularly liked the well stocked library and made use of borrowing a couple of good reads to enjoy by the pool. Kids loved the pool, it wasn't huge but perfectly adequate for us and held the heat well, which was a nice added bonus. There were a few things that could probably do with some updating and some bits were a little worn and overused. However in the main this dod not interrupt our stay and the good points to the villa by far out weighed any negative ones, it is really well stocked with everything we needed.. The neighbourhood was generally very quiet. There isn't a huge amount locally, there is a reasonably priced supermarket however and a restaurant. For a bit of entertainment there is a place called holiday world 10 minutes walk. There is also a large supermarket 25 minutes walk away, which was a pleasurable walk we done a few times to stock up. We also walked to play del ingles in 45 minutes. Again a pleasurable walk but if you didn't want to walk either of them, taxis are quite cheap. Beverley was brilliant, arranging our pick up and drop off very informative and quick to respond to any queries we had. Overall a very enjoyable stay, if we went back to gran canaria we would have no hesitation in staying at this villa again.

Lage, Garten und Pool sind der Plusspunkt

Insgesamt ist das Objekt etwas "in die Jahre gekommen". Die Küchenausstattung ist überholt (Glasteller etc.). Die Lage ist schön und ruhig und hat vieles ausgeglichen was den Preis auch "einigermaßen" rechtfertigt.

Pleasant & Relaxing Stay

We all enjoyed our week at Villa Paraiso. Excellently equipped villa, especially the kitchen, if you like cooking. It was great to have 2 bathrooms too & we loved the outside covered area, where we spent most of our time outside. The solar heated pool isn't huge but was big enough for us, 3 adults. The villa is in a quiet location, close to a supermarket which was very useful. We hired a car & ventured into Playa del Ingles, 5 mins away, most evenings where there's a good selection of restaurants. I'd recommend Lola & Wapa Tapa but do book in advance as they're very popular. We haven't been to Maspalomas for 20 years, so it was nice to get reacquainted with the resort. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Paraiso as a base to explore the area.

Fantastic villa with pool

This villa has everything for a prefect stay, I'd say it was over stocked with wonderful books and dad's as well as a well stocked kitchen. The neighbourhood was quiet and there are a couple of food shops and restaurants close by. The villa pool has a jacuzzi option and the main pool can be reached through the back door of the property. Found the water scalding hot in the shower room, might need to run it for a while to get the right temperature. But a real gem of a place and wished we'd booked it for longer.

Excellent Villa

Everything we could have ever asked for. Colin and Bev were so helpful and accommodating which made it feel like a home away from home. The villa has everything you could want, both pools were clean and so handy to have and we used them everyday. The whole Villa was spotless. It’s in a great location, you can walk to the beach and the shops. We had a great holiday, thank you!

Perfect holiday home in Maspalomas

We enjoyed our stay in this house a lot. It is very cozy, clean and has a nice atmosphere. We enjoyed the heated pool in the garden and the big community pool just around the corner. The contact with Beverly was very nice and welcoming and she helped us wherever she could. Thanks a lot, Beverly! We would definitely recommend this house to our family and friends!

Es handelt sich um ein schönes Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung in einer tollen Umgebung. Die Beschreibung trifft es sehr gut. Lediglich Winzigkeiten sind aufgefallen, wie z.B.: Die abgebildete Kaffeemaschine war zunächst nicht vorhanden und das WLAN war in manchen Räumen grenzwertig schwach. Das hat aber nicht wirklich gestört. Zu unserer großen Freude war aber doch ein Grill vorhanden. Der Pool war sogar etwas größer, als er auf den Bildern wirkt. Für einen großen Badespaß am Nachmittag ist er absolut ausreichend. Die Haushälterin war sehr nett, flexibel und pünktlich. Das Haus machte zu jeder Zeit einen sehr sauberen Eindruck. Die Umgebung war trotz der anwesenden Nachbarn fast immer angenehm ruhig. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder :-)

Tranquil villa with great outdoor social space

We have just spent 10 nights in the villa and had a wonderful time. Inside is a little tired in places, but that didn’t bother us as it had a well-equipped kitchen and felt really homely. The outdoor seating area is fab for relaxing and socialising with the added bonus of the pool to take a dip in whenever you wanted. We also used the communal pool which was very quiet so we often had it to ourselves. The area is generally quiet and peaceful which is just what we were looking for. We had a car and would recommend having one so you can get around easily. Overall a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend it..
