A beautiful holiday in Puglia
We just came back from a wonderful holiday from Trullo Rosette. The owner Simona was very responsive and helpful when we first inquired about the property. For the arrival, we were met at the village by Giuseppe who guided us to the Trullo so there was no difficulty finding the place. In the evening we had the pre-ordered dinner made by Maria, which was simply delicious and a must for anyone booking this Trullo. The property is set in a huge garden (we never saw the end of it) full of mature olive trees, prickly pears, herbs, lemons and other trees. The kids loved the trampoline and the swimming pool. We found the Tullo very comfortable with the well-equipped kitchen, and the spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Giuseppe works nearby and was able to come to us in less than 10 minutes when we needed some help. We also learned how to make orecchiette and marcheroni with Maria and her mother, which is a very special experience. Do try the wine, olive oil, jam and other produce supplied from the House (against a very reasonable price), they are simply fantastic! The Trullo is in a great location for exploring nearby towns such as Ostuni, Lecce, Alberobello and Galipolli (Ostuni is stunning). We would definitely recommend the Trullo to families /friends who are looking for an authentic experience in Puglia!
