Amazing villa - incredible 180 degree views!
Our trip to Yerakina last June was glorious. The villa is set into the highest part of the north-east end of the island, with majestic views over olive groves and far out to sea. Unlike a lot a places you find online it looked exactly like the photos and in real life was enhanced by the incredible 180 degree views and peacefulness.
The interior of the villa reinforces the feeling that you are actually in a private property – one that belongs to somebody with great taste in furniture and art, and the exterior is made up of the pool and a number of terraces where we enjoyed long breakfasts/lunches - and ideal for entertaining in the evening. The seating areas on each end of the main terrace are perfect for sunbathing by day and stargazing by night.
The house log book gave us lots of useful info about the north part of the island – the best tavernas, bars, supermarkets etc, most of which are a short 10 minute drive away. We’d particularly recommend visiting La Historia for dinner (ask for a table on the beach) and Dennis’s in Volimes.
Yerakina is the perfect villa for families or a group of friends. Would highly recommend!!
