What an absolutely incredible stay! Debbie and Chris are just so lovely and communicative. The home is incredible and very well equipped. The location was perfect: we had a quick walk into town but did not feel that we were in the middle of the tourist-filled streets. Each morning we woke up and walked to Readymoney cove for a swim :) many lunches eaten outside overlooking the river. The most memorable holiday! We hope to soon return.

My wife and I stayed at this property in July. I have to stay the owners have made it a warm and welcoming place with everything finished to a high standard. You can see a lot of time and effort had been put into making anyone's stay really enjoyable and the place was spotless.When booking I did worry about parking but there is a small pull in opposite the property where you can quickly unload and the carpark is another 200 meters past it on the right called Caffa Mill and only charged 17.90 for the whole week. The property also has a small terrace overlooking the slipway and river we spent many a time eating breakfast or at night having a drink watching the boats go by and people swimming.From the property its a five to ten minute stroll which is pretty level with only one slight incline on the way back which is easy for us older folk.When you in the centre of Fowey there is plenty of places to eat and have a nice drink with stunning views and on the way back there is a Spar shop for your essentials.I don't think I have ever written such a long review (and I could go on) but to me this place is a real little gem and would highly recommend a stay at this property. Just one thing to note there is a small sairway to negotiate to the property but I am 67 and didn't find it a problem.Lastly the property owners were all ways on hand if needed and replied to any messages quickly.They need to pat themselves on the back for creating a lovely home from home rental

Perfect spot for staying in Fowey

We loved the flat. Beautifully decorated, ideally located, and amply equipped. The view was unbeatable, watching the ferry and boats go back and forth. We would highly recommend this very comfortable and idyllic stay

Fantastic Holiday retreat

We enjoyed our stay in June 2023 a lot. The accomodation was beautiful as described and Fowey turned out to be the most beautiful place in Cornwall compared to other villages we saw. I can highly recommend a stay.

Magic stay in Fowey

Lovely apartment, beautifully decorated, all you need (and more) for a comfortable stay, with great views of the River Fowey. Fowey itself is a hidden gem, so full of character and the single narrow main street discourages general flow through traffic, ensuring it is lovely and quiet.

Brilliant Holiday Stay

Thanks to Debbie and Chris for a fab stay at their cottage. Check-in was easy. The cottage and location excellent for Fowey high street and all the shops and restaurants. The kitchen, had everything we needed and was well thought through! Lots of helpful info on what to do in the area too. Our kids loved the crabbing off the slip way in front of the house! View of the water excellent and fun watching the ferry go to and fro as well as all the yatchs and boats. We had a lovely stay!

Beautifully presented house, very clean, very well equipped, it was lovely sitting outside the front of the house with the river view. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend. Parking was no trouble, car park a very short walk.

Lovely cottage

A lovely cottage, compact and just right for two people. Tastefully decorated and everywhere looking clean and fresh, with everything you might need. Fabulous view of the waterfront and the nearby Bodinnick ferry (which isn't noisy at all) and a pleasant stroll into the centre of Fowey.Car park is close by but it can be difficult to find a space - you just have to wait!

Lovely stay

This is a sweet spot overlooking the river, a short walk from the centre of Fowey. Everything was comfortable, clean and in order and the host was helpful. Fowey is a super base from which to explore Cornwall or just hang out - the eating out options are great and there’s lots to explore. Would highly recommend.

Great visit

Fowey is a wonderful little Cornish village and well worth a visit. House location was great - short walk into village, nice views over river. House was homely with everything we needed to make our visit enjoyable. We had no problems with parking at the public car park which is about 2 min walk from house.

Out of the Blue has amazing river views. The ever changing view from the window never ceases to amaze us and guests. From people fishing and crabbing from the slipway, gig racing, boating and mini car ferry activity to the Pilot boat, Tug and large ships sailing by - there is always something to see.
