'Out of the Blue' is a former estate cottage, which has been lovingly restored and given a new lease of life. Situated in the picturesque village of Fowey, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, the cottage gives easy access to all Fowey has to offer. With its winding streets, traditional houses, colourful cottages and its literary and maritime history from Pirates to twenty first century cruise ships, Fowey has something for everyone to enjoy-quaint gift and antique shops, kayaking for the more adventurous, leisurely river cruises, numerous walks from the doorstep, crabbing and fishing from the slipway or simply watching the world go by from the window.

Lovely cottage. Beautifully presented with everything we needed. The weather was stunning too. Already booked for another stay 😁😁
Cute house in a cute village
Fowey and the surrounding area is just wonderful! Out of the Blue was a perfect escape and a lovely home (I didn't want to leave).
Practically the house is perfectly located with a short walk to the town centre (where you will find amazing food and hospitality) as well as super close to a car park (small seaside villages aren't known for their on street parking).
Would definitely stay here again when next visiting.
Home from home
A really well appointed, comfortable house in an excellent location. Great access to the town of Fowey and good base for exploring Cornwall
A real gem
Great location, beautifully decorated, and perfect for families. Really near the Car park where we parked our car, and also only a 5 minute walk to Fowey.
Fabulous week in Fowey
We arrived at Out of the Blue after a long drive (467 miles) from Co. Durham to be welcomed by this lovely house in Fowey. Everything it claims to be it is. Comfortably furnished, nice decor and exceptional views. We loved everything about it and will be returning soon but next time we will fly. Barry and Ann , Co Durham
