About Debbie & Chris Hall
As a family of 4, with 2 teenage daughters, we have been visiting and holidaying in Fowey for years and have at last taken the plunge and bought our own property. Hopefully, staying in our cottage will make you fall in love with Fowey as well!
Debbie & Chris Hall purchased this Cottage in 2013
Very comfortable, everything we needed, amazing views of the river
It was lovely to be able to sit up on bed with a coffee in the early morning and watch the river come to life. This little house provided all we needed for a great stay in Fowey. It is really convenient for the car parks and an easy walk into town along the river. It was really comfortable- a real find. Thank you.
Perfect holiday home in the perfect location!
Me and my family stayed here for a weeks holiday. It was our first time visiting Cornwall and we are so happy we chose this location. Fowey is beautiful and all the shops, cafes, ice cream places were brilliant! We went crabbing most days right outside and also days out at The Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan only a short drive. Also visited Lands End, St. Michaels Mount and Newquay which were not too far. Car park is a 2 minute walk from property which is ideal and centre about a 5 minute walk. The views from the property are amazing and everything was lovely and clean. I would definitely book this property again for our next holiday to Cornwall! Thank you so much for a great holiday.
A lovely property with all you could need right in the heart of Fowey
We had a wonderful stay at Out Of The Blue - it's a charming, clean, well appointed property that has everything you could need. We loved having a sea view and the children spent lots of time watching the boats and crabbing on the slipway just in front of the house. Having young children we wanted to eat in most of the time and it was fantastic to have a kitchen that was really well equipped. Fowey itself is a great little town; we enjoyed going to Readymoney Cove, going for walks, and of course regular ice-creams at Game of Cones! Out of the town we visited the Eden project and The Lost Gardens of Heligan. A lovely stay and we would definitely go again!
(A minor point but it would be great to have some of the local recycling bags at the property. On bin day everyone was putting out their glass, paper and plastics and we would have liked to have been able to do the same).
Lovely cottage. Beautifully presented with everything we needed. The weather was stunning too. Already booked for another stay 😁😁
Cute house in a cute village
Fowey and the surrounding area is just wonderful! Out of the Blue was a perfect escape and a lovely home (I didn't want to leave).
Practically the house is perfectly located with a short walk to the town centre (where you will find amazing food and hospitality) as well as super close to a car park (small seaside villages aren't known for their on street parking).
Would definitely stay here again when next visiting.
Home from home
A really well appointed, comfortable house in an excellent location. Great access to the town of Fowey and good base for exploring Cornwall
Readymoney Cove is the nearest, sheltered, sandy beach, which is a short 15 minute stroll away.

Fowey has a delightful village atmosphere with many good quality restaurants and pubs. There are banks (including ATMs), an artisan bakery, butchers/deli, fishmonger, wine merchant, book shops, small supermarket (with a sub-Post Office) and several clothes and specialist shops.
