West Burton a lovely spot
The property is fine we however were subjected to constant rain and cold and abandoned our holiday early. This is in no way a critique of the cottage just a moan about the weather for which there is no quick fix
lovely house in quiet village
Stayed for 3 nights cottage clean and well equipped. would certainly return
Very comfortable stay
The cottage had just about everything we could want for. The village is idyllic and there are good walks available from the door. We had good but cold weather and the cottage was always a warm place to return too.
Amazing cottage, perfect countryside location. A lovely pub with great atmosphere. Beautiful area
The host was very attentive. A great cottage, very clean with every need filled. With very good info and very helpful. We will definitely be back.
Ideal for a couple
Ideal for the two of us and possibly a child ( which is what it is designed for ). Imagine 100 years ago bringing up a family of six !!
Had feared that the stairs would be a problem but they are three short flights of 6, 2 and 3 so managed.
Cottage had not been used the previous week so one or two spiders had taken up residence.
Took 3 days to get hot water ( as oil had run out ) but managed with the kettle and electric shower.
Generally well equipped but mind your head when you go to the fridge.
West Burton is a beautiful and quiet village.
We always meet friend this time of year and enjoy stay .
The property was good although we probably won't book again as toilet downstairs and stairs a little steep ok for younger people
