The Old Barn è idealmente situato per una serie di attività tra cui passeggiate, bird watching, attività in spiaggia, o come base da cui partire per esplorare tutto ciò che la costa del North Norfolk ha da offrire. Solo 2 miglia da Thornham in una direzione o Hunstanton nell'altra e 8 miglia da Burnham Market.

Beautiful property & setting

Had a lovely stay sadly it was cut a little short due to being called back home for an emergency, however the time we was there was wonderful, area of Holme next the sea is stunning, barn accommodation was lovely spacious & clean and a very nice welcome pack on arrival. We hope to stay again next time we visit Norfolk.

A lovely short break by the coast.

Thank you for a lovely stay in your beautiful house. The house had everything we needed and the garden was perfect for my grandsons aged 2 and 3. The surrounding areas have so much to offer we didn’t have time to fit everything in so I’m sure we will be back.

Very good accommodation and excellent communication with the owner. Wi-if is a bit patchy but I think it’s par for the area. Re-cycling needs to be booked online for the local depot as there is not a bin at the property

Another great stay at the Barn

The friends that we stayed at The Barn with were so impressed with our stay last year that we returned for a mid-week break. The presentation was up to its usual high standard, providing us with everything we needed and we really enjoyed our time there. The Barn has an excellent location enabling us to access the North Norfolk coast with ease and all that it has to offer.

Highly recommend this beautiful property to others. Communication from the hosts was incredibly helpful and informative. Property itself was done out beautifully, and could not fault it. The position of the house was ideal for exploring the local area both on foot and driving to attractions nearby. Our family had a brilliant few days with many precious memories made. ❤️

Amazing property

Fabulous and beautiful house perfect for all the family in a great location, village pub does amazing food which we would highly recommend and you are able to walk to the beach from the property. Our whole stay was fantastic.

Another fabulous visit!

Beautiful, comfortable & well equipped

A very attractive property with plenty of parking off road and a safe garden for dogs and children. The property is within easy walking distance of Holme Beach and a good pub. Other attractions within a short distance, including food shopping, restaurants and take-always.

Our third visit to The Old Barn

This is our favourite holiday property in Norfolk. It has provided us with great comfort and met all our needs. It is perfectly located for the north coast, its fine beaches, walks, good pubs and restaurants. We have stayed there on three occasions and hope to do so again. We highly recommend it.

Perfect Break and place to stay

This property was exactly 'what it said on the tin' It was clean ample space wonderful garden and place for us all to sit and the dogs loved it . We would highly recommend and will certainly be booking again we tried to book for Christmas but already gone .................. loved it

Family fun at Holme By The Sea

Great property works well for two families . Ticked all our boxes good location, easy parking , large dining table so we could all comfortably eat together. Lovely lounge area with enough seating for us all to chill after wonderful coastal walks. Garden so the kids could run around .We're hoping to come again soon !

A beautiful home and gardens, ideal location. There were 8 people in our group and we all thoroughly enjoyed a special time together.

We are a young family and purchased the The Old Barn, Holme, in 2006. We carried out a completed refurbishment and modernisation and continue to make little changes here and there every year. We live near Stamford and travel regularly to The Old Barn to escape work and immerse ourselves in the sheer beauty of all that the North Norfolk coast has to offer.

In 2007 we also bought two properties next to the beach at South Beach, Heacham. We thought these would be perfect for our children to grow up around and play by the beach in the traditional way.

Perché ha scelto questa struttura

We scoured properties for sale from Heacham to Wells, but The Old Barn stood out as having so much light and airy space and a large enclosed garden, that made not buying it very difficult indeed. It is superbly located for children's activities as well as those for adults. The estate agents words to us were 'don't go too far round the coast, as this area is where all the action is.' SOLD!

Cosa rende unica questa struttura

The Old Barn has four generous bedrooms and enough showers and wc's that two families can share without getting in each others way. But the best bit for us is the huge living spaces and the lovely log burner. As soon as we unpack we walk to the beach for some sea air and then stop off at the local pub on the way back for a real ale. Perfect.
