Good location

The location is excellent. It is very convenient access to train stations, bus stations, the lift station, city centre, shops, and restaurants. Especially Carrefour is very near! The property is beautiful and well equipped, so 4 adults of our family really spent comfortabully. The owner is so kind and gentle. Hopefully come back again !!

The Astor

Great apartment just off the centre of Chamonix centre ville, with great views and easy access to the free Chamonix valley train station. The apartment is stylish, well equipped and comfortable and help is a WhatsAp away. Would recommend highly.

Majestic Chamonix

We had a wonderful time in Chamonix-- but no dispute sunny weather makes a difference. The apartment was located a short walk from the train station-- and had all that we needed for a 3 day stay in Chamonix. We enjoyed a couple of great hikes (did I mention sunny weather makes a difference) and the trip to Aiguille du Midi was unreal-- highly recommend. Todd

We had a great stay here. The apartment is in a perfect location - the train station is nice and close by and you’re only a few mins walk from the town centre. There were only two of us so the apartment was plenty big enough for us. We loved the balconies and having a drink on the balcony after a day on the slopes was a highlight. The information supplied for the apartment was excellent and we loved the hosts recommendation for Munchie. We would definitely return to this great apartment and would highly recommend it.

WOW- Four adults- one couple and the other non-relationship adults. Simply put the unit was fantastic and will definitely be staying here again. Great location with only being a short distance from central Cham but far enough away to be quiet. Rooms great, a well equipped kitchen, living areas away from the bedrooms and well spaced out. Supplied games were fun for the group. Having breakfast or afternoon vino on the main balcony was simply divine. The only two downsides was: Hot water couldn't cope with four people having two showers in the day and Chamonix Resort had issues with their system and asked me several times to submit the pre-registration documentation. Other than that faultless.

Some Caution

First, we wound up not staying here but rather immediately booked a hotel for the remainder of our stay. the listing is technically correct and we should have paid more attention to it to avoid renting something that was not to our liking or needs. This apartment is small - the master bedroom has a bed that was too small for a couple where the husband is 6'2 and the toilet is literally in the broom closet where you have to navigate mops and brooms. The views are as described and the access to town is great. It's likely a perfect place for a young couple trekking for a few days - but not suitable for an older couple looking for some comfort and a place to relax.

Thank you for highlighting that the views from both of our balconies are amazing and that our location is great. Reviews are subjective by nature, however we feel it’s correct to respond objectively to this, our only negative review on any platform. 1. Our apartment is 46m2, as detailed in our listing. This is above average for a 2 bedroom apartment in any mountain resort. It is well designed to maximise space, with compact bedrooms and smartly designed storage to create a spacious living area. Our pictures are true to life, as recognised by your review. 2. The bed in the master bedroom is larger than a UK Kingsize - 160cm wide x 200cm long or 5’3” wide x 6’6” long. 3. We do store a mop and brush in the toilet, securely located up against a wall. These can be be relocated at the discretion of guests. Also please note that as is tradition in France, the toilet is separate from the bathroom. We do hope you enjoyed your time in Chamonix. Regards, David & Laura

The apartment was nicely renovated and spotlessly clean. There was enough dishes, pots and pans for our say. All the appliances, pots, pans and dishes were in good condition. The place was a great place to stay for a family of four with teenagers. The bunk beds was great for the teens with enough space for all of us. The ski locker is in the basement and allow us to store our equipment and ski bags so it was out of the way Took us a while to figure out the bus routes and the best way to get to the hills since we didn't have a car. I think walking to Chamonix Sud is your best option. It is a quick walk to the city centre. At night the apartment is quiet at night since it is away from the city centre. Chamonix is a beautiful city! Wished we had more days in Chamonix. We definitely want to comeback. An extra key would be nice since one family member was a non-ski so we need to coordinate coming back.

Lovely quiet flat

We really enjoyed our stay! The place was very clean and with all the amenities we are accustomed to at home. We loved the location as it was in a quiet part of town yet still just a 5-10 minute walk to all the best shops, gondola, train, and dining. The property management was easy to communicate with via Whatsapp and they helped me when I couldn't figure out how to use some of the European amenities. Our favorite part were meals on the balcony- breakfast and tea at sunrise or sunsets with a bottle of wine and charcuterie purchased in town. It was really nice having a stocked kitchen and soaps. There's a store just down the street if we needed anything. We definitely recommend Mess (restaurant) for the best burger I've ever had, Le Fournil Chamoniard for the BEST croissants in all of France, and Chalet 4810 for the most incredible macarons! Importantly, the master bed is firm and comfortable with a memory foam topper and pillows. After running a 100 mile race I slept so well, and usually I hurt and have a hard time after my races. Not the case here. We will definitely stay here again!

Endroit parfait pour une escapâde à Chamonix en famille

Endroit propre et lumineux à quelques pas du centre de Chamonix avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour faire un peu de cuisine. Deux chambres très convenables et balcon avec vue splendide sur le Mont Blanc! Wifi de bonne qualité et les enfants ont adoré la Wii en fin de journée afin de relaxer un peu. Je recommande cet endroit aux familles!

A lovely rental for hiking and exploring

Modern, compact and comfortable apartment with stunning views of the mountians.

We had a fabulous 3 days here and the apartment was more than adequate for a family of 5. Being lucky with the weather (clear blue skies all around) we had fantastic views of the mountians from both front and rear balconies of the apartment, as well as, from each window. It was only a 5 min walk to the heart of Chamonix's buzzing town centre, train station and the Mt Blanc cable car. We recieved friendly, helpful advice from the English speaking Snostation staff. Suitable base if you want to explore the local area, have an active holiday or just want to relax and take in the breath taking scenery.

Excellent Chamonix apartment

Really lovely apartment, close to all the action in Chamonix. Fully equipped with everything we needed, decor lovely, smart and up to date. Immaculately clean. Gorgeously soft linen and super-comfy beds. Definitely recommend!

Live in Manchester with my partner David, wished we lived at our place in Chamonix all year long! Obviously we love therefore, snow, biking, walking, outdoor adventures, the mountains, the après ski atmosphere.

We love to travel, have lived and worked in the USA, Australia and France.

Personal preference for places to stay? Places that are individual, offer a really nice level of comfort and facilities, but aren't stuffy. Hopefully our place matches this to perfection!
