Why our apartment ? 4 main reasons:

First of all, unbeatable location:
Next to the Parador, at walking distance to both Burriana beach (5 minutes) and the old town center (10 minutes) with the famous “Balcon d’Europa”, the popular meeting point for both locals and tourist with the best sunset views and day /night entertainment.

Very well layed out and fully furnished :
Think comfortable beds (high quality matresses and bedlinen), Egyptian towels, recently refurbished bathrooms, a complete kitchen and complimentary use of beach towels. Above all: the space to have quality time with your family/friends without feeling “packed” like in some other holiday apartments. Sleeps 6: masterbedroom with ensuite bathroom, double bedroom with access to the balcony, single bedroom, 2nd bathroom. Large living with sliding doors to the balcony and kitchen with diner.

Enjoy the outside:
L shape private balkony with large seating area- ideal to have your meals outside -and 2 new day beds for the perfect siesta. Large well maintained communal areas with swimming pool (incl kids pool) open all year round and beautiful gardens. In the backyard a small barbeque area where you are invited to grill your burgers. Good neighbourhood atmosphere assured as this is a small residents complex in one of the best areas in Nerja.

Entertainment and shops nearby:
We offer a small library with books, TV with international channels (BBC, National geographic, TV5 etc) and powerful high speed WIFI. In the nearby area you can find shops for your daily needs (French bakery, Coviran supermarket etc) as well as multiple bar/ restaurants. We will provide you with a guide of the area with our personal favourites as well things to do. You don’t need a car really, unless you would like to explore the surroundings. Optional private parking (extra).

What a great holiday

What a great appartment! Everything we needed was there of if not we contacted the owner and they made it possible. The appartment was well cleaned and every week we got new linen sheets and towels. We really loved our stay!

A home from home in Nerja! We would highly recommend Javier's lovely apartment for a family holiday in Nerja. The location is fantastic- a short stroll away from restaurants, bars and beaches but without the noise which comes from being too close. The cove at the end of the street was the best we found in the area, despite having driven along the coast into the national park. The apartment itself has a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, comfy bed. Check in and check out was fast and efficient. All in all a wonderful property. Gracias Javier

Very good 11 week stay

We had a very good experience. The landlords were prompt and responsive. We had friends and family visit us and there was more than enough space for everyone. The location is perfect for proximity to beaches and town - there is a laundry mat and bakery across the street and a well stocked grocery store around the corner. The condo was clean and as described. Lots of towels and the kitchen had basic items.

Very good property

We stayed in the apartment for just over 2 weeks. Javier and Yvonne were there to greet us and are very friendly and responsive if there are any issues. The apartment is very spacious and well equipped. The grounds are well kept, with some resident turtles. The pool is not huge but well maintained and never crowded. However, there are no sunbeds to lie on. Nerja is a very nice town and the property is well located, being a 10 minute walk to the centre, closer to the beach and also opposite a bakery, and other useful shops and restaurants. It is not a noisy area of town although the road is quite busy. The only other thing to note is that the garage is very tight, so if you have a large car it will be a struggle to use it. But it would be hard to manage without. Overall this is an excellent apartment and we would happily stay here again.

Ein fast perfektes Apartment mit erstklassigen Gastgebern

Javier & Yvonne sind perfekte Gastgeber. Das Apartment ist sehr gut ausgestattet: hervorragende Betten, moderne Badezimmer, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche (endlich mal vernünftiges Kochgeschirr). Das Wohn- und das Hauptschlafzimmer verfügen über eine Klimaanlage. Dies wäre für die heißen Sommermonate auch für die beiden anderen Schlafzimmer wünschenswert, dann wäre das Apartment wirklich perfekt. Die Gartenanlage mit dem größeren Pool ist sehr gepflegt. Wir haben selbst im August immer Zeiten gefunden, an denen wir den Pool für uns alleine hatten. Der Pool ist allerdings tief und deshalb für Nichtschwimmer nicht geeignet. Da die Treppe zum Strand und Meer vom Apartment nur 100 m entfernt ist, kann man auf kurzem Weg mal eben im Meer schwimmen ohne sich lange am Strand aufhalten zu müssen. Das haben wir sehr genossen. Auch in die Altstadt mit dem Balkon de Europa gelangt man auf kurzem Wege. Kleinere Lebensmittelläden und auch Supermärkte sind fußnah erreichbar, man braucht also nicht unbedingt ein Auto, wenn man keine Ausflüge machen will. Die gute Erreichbarkeit von Strand und Altstadt ist allerdings damit verbunden, dass die Wohnanlage an einer der Hauptzufahrtsstraßen zu einem großen Parkplatz für Strand und Altstadt liegt. Das Verkehrsaufkommen insbesondere an den Wochenenden ist im Hochsommer hoch. Das ist aber auch das einzige Manko an diesem Apartment. Wir würden es wieder mieten, weil wir hier einen sehr schönen Familienurlaub verbracht haben. Danke noch einmal an die Gastgeber.

Appartement très bien situé près de la plage, et du centre de Nerja. Le logement est vaste, spacieux, avec une grande terrasse bien orientée. Javier et Yvonne ont été parfaits pour que nos vacances se passent bien, merci à eux. Nous garderons un très bon souvenir de nos vacances dans cette magnifique région.

There WAS a pool - just no water in it!

During our whole 5 month stay at Los Jarales we never got to use the pool - even though of the 23 photos of the property 8 were of a lovely inviting pool and the ad says 'swimming pool (including kids' pool) open all year round'. Instead we had a close-up view of a dusty, empty pool with 'police' tape around it. The landlord was very friendly and every week said it would all be fixed 'soon' .... BUT by May he just started to say we should stop bothering him and complain to someone else! This was most upsetting as I had family visiting and they could not use the pool as I had promised. Very nice flat but very disappointed....

Dear Dave: first my apology again for the fact you have not been able to use the pool as much as you wished. As it´s owned by the community it was not in my control to speed up the works. However I don´t fully agree with your comments about the duration - definitely it was not out of order during your full stay. As well, while I kept you up to date with news all the time , you kept on sending me reminders that were at some point disturbing. Again sorry if your stay was not fully up to expectation; we believe we have been very accommodating and flexible in every way.

Excellent location and apartment

We stayed here as a family of 5 for 2 weeks in late August. Plenty of room for everyone and good facilities. We had the pool to ourselves at times, even in August which was great. Ideal location to the shops and restaurants etc in town as well across to Burriana beach. Javier and Yvonne were there to greet us and provided a very nice welcome pack. We did have one issue with plumbing down to wear and tear. Javier dealt with this in an excellent way. He and Yvonne responded very quickly to any general enquiries and were a great help. We love Nerja and have stayed at 2 other apartments across a 4 year period. This one is highly recommend and hopefully we will return in future 😀👍

Spacious comfortable apartment

This apartment is in a a perfect location to enjoy all Nerja has to offer. The apartment is extremely spacious, and well equipped. The beds are very comfy. A large balcony gave the perfect place to sit and enjoy some family time. The kids loved the pool. It suited our needs perfectly.

Very nice apartment in great location

We spent two weeks in Javiers and Yvonnes apartment which we really enjoyed. The apartment is large and nice with fresh interior, and the outside pool area pleased the children. Javier and Yvonne are very good hosts and helpful in every way. The location is very good with walking distance to the beach, Burriana center and Nerja center. Hi, my name is Javier, I was born and raised in Nerja and still enjoy coming here in weekends. Together with my partner we take real good care of the apartment and we'll be able to recommend you the best sites to visit /eat/ drink in Nerja and surroundings.

Why they chose this property

Before this apartment was build, this used to be my parents house and I lived on this site during my childhood. Nerja was still a small farmers & fishermen town. Despite that it has changed much, I think it has retained a very good atmosphere and the sea / beaches are for me still the best of all the Southern coast.

What makes this property unique

For me the best part of my apartment is the location and the high quality of the building. You are just steps from the sea and you can walk everywhere.
