Fantastic Villa with lovely shared pool and gardens

A fantastic villa, very well located for the beach and nearby Nerja. This was one of those lovely surprises when the property is even better than the photos suggest. The villa is spacious with a generous kitchen/ living space, good sized berooms and stylish bathooms. The kitchen is well equiped with everything that you need. What really makes it special are the two large terraces (one from the living space and one from the main bedroom) which mean you can enjoy the outside and the fantastic view in privacy. I was a little concerned about the proximity to the road (I remember the N-340 from the old days when it was the main coastal road) but it really wasn't noisy at all. The villa has access to a lovely shared garden and pool (2 min walk) which never got too busy and was large enough to relax in. The lush garden was a lovely space to retreat to on particularly hot days with areas of shade if you want them and plenty of sun loungers to relax on. The pool is large and clean and again never got too busy. The nearby town of Nerja was buzzy and has plenty of great places to eat out. There is walkable access to several stretches of beach from the villa. Jimmy was incredibly responsive to queries and questions which made the booking and arrival process straightforward.

Lack of hot water marred an otherwise lovely stay

We enjoyed our stay, and the place was lovely, as advertised. We enjoyed the advice about local sights and Granada. However, for the capacity of this 3 bedroom home, with 2 double beds and 2 twins, and even with the briefest of shoeets (and I mran turning the water on and off during the shower) it was impossible for more than 2 of us to have warm showers within an hour. As the weather was chilly during our stay, this was a bit of a problem. Maybe a larger capacity water heater, or turning up.the thermostat?

Attractive villa, ideal for families

The home is situated in a large, very attractive and well maintained villa development with beautiful views and landscaping. Our villa had spectacular views of the Mediterranean and was conveniently located (within the villa community and to Nerja and beaches). The villa had been thoroughly cleaned. Bathrooms and kitchen were very modern; apparently recently renovated. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. Bedrooms were clean, spartan and would benefit from upgraded beds/bedding/linens, consistent in style with bathrooms and kitchen. No TV, but we don’t speak fluent Spanish so TV was not missed.

Parfait!!

Tout a été parfait, autant les démarches en arrivant que les informations reçues par les propriétaires avant notre arrivée... La vue est allucinante et la villa très bien conçue... nous étions avec deux enfants et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous Un grand merci!! Je vous le recommande!!!

Excellent standard of accommodation

The property was very clean on arrival and had everything we needed for a really enjoyable stay. The surrounding area is residential and very quiet. It was great having such a lovely pool so close. Excellent terrace for sunbathing and having meals al fresco. Can thoroughly recommend this property.

Great place to stay

Really great place to stay. Lots of beaches very close by - stony one at the bottom of the road was a favourite of ours as our children enjoyed climbing over rocks to get to a ‘secret beach’ and really great for photos as the sun sets. We did drive into Nerja but in August the place is buzzing so quite difficult to park. We preferred going to eat at the quieter chiringuitos near the villa on the coast road. The shared pool is a few minutes walk from the villa & was a great place to relax and swim. It never felt over crowded and it was surrounded by beautifully kept gardens. Toilet block & showers are there too. The villa is spacious with aircon in the two upstairs bedrooms. We enjoyed having a drink on the upstairs balcony overlooking the sea. The use of a beach chair, buckets & spades and parasols for the beach was brilliant! The hosts quickly answered any questions we had and we’d very much enjoy returning to this villa for another holiday.

Amazing home in Costa Del Sol

We were absolutely thrilled with this property! Our family of four from the United States considered this home to be a highlight of our trip to Spain. The home is very spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. Check-in process was extremely easy and hosts were easy to communicate with ahead of our visit. Star of the property is the outdoor patio/deck overlooking the water. The views are spectacular and I agree with other commentors who said the actual view is even better than the pictures on VRBO. That was worth a visit alone! We really had no complaints or criticisms at all. The property is located just outside Nerja, so we found it helpful to have a car. Parking was easy right outside of our door. There is a beach that is easily walkable but we tended to drive into Nerja, park our car and walk between beaches. I think it is doable to walk to beaches and restaurants from the apartment or take a bus or taxi into town. Overall an outstanding experience!

Very nice house

We had a really nice stay in this property. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived. The house has amazing views of the sea. It was well appointed with everything you would need. It is up a lot of steps to the front door, so would not be suitable for people in a wheelchair etc,

Wunderschön gelegene Villa

Geräumiges Haus mit schönen Terrassen. Herrlicher Blick aufs Meer. Schöne Ferienanlage, gepflegt und schön bepflanzt. Ruhig gelegen. Freier Strand zu Fuß gut erreichbar. Küche gut ausgestattet. Kommunikation mit Vermieter sehr gut, der bemüht war, alle Fragen zu klären.

Geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Haus mit wunderschönem Blick aufs Meer. Wunderschönen Terrasse mit Liegen und Möbel. Zimmer sauber und alle Küchenutensilien soweit vorhanden bis auf eventuell eine Kühltasche mit Akkus für Strand. Leider nur 1 Küchenhandtuch und für jeden Gast ein Dusch- u. Handtuch für 10 Übernachtungen. Auf Nachfrage wurde uns angeboten die Waschmaschine zu nutzen, wobei auf die Wasserknappheit hingewiesen wurde. Mülltrennung bis auf Glas findet nicht statt. Das Doppelbett im Erdgeschoß ist mit 1,40 m etwas schmal.

The pictures just don't do it justice.

I rented this unit because I thought the pictures looked nice. When we got there it was so much better than expected. Just being there and looking around you feel welcome and home. The views of the Mediterranean and the multitude of other homes in this area give you the sense of an exotic warm vacation spot. I enjoyed getting a little bit of exercise on all the stairs leading into the house.

Great family get-away

Amazing view (the picture is real!) This was a very comfortable house for our family of 5 on a 6day get-away. A great location just outside the city of Nerja - we were able to drive into the city, but found it convenient to take the bus. An easy day trip to Alhambra from here. And of course, lots of time enjoying the plentiful sunshine. The kids were anxious to get up and watch the sun rise each morning and wanted to be on the beach to watch the sun set in the evenings. The owners were very quick to respond to all questions before our arrival, and everything was perfectly arranged when we arrived. I highly recommend this property for its location, the views, and the owners.

Toller Urlaub im tollen Haus!

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub. Die Villa hat eine fantastische Lage oberhalb des Meers, in nur 5 Minuten ist man zu Fuß am Strand. Zur Anlage gehört auch ein schöner Gemeinschaftspool. Das Haus ist komplett und großzügig eingerichtet, um einen sorgenfreien Urlaub zu verbringen. Der Kontakt mit Jimmy und Susan war sehr freundlich und perfekt.

Absolutely fabulous!

Fabulous! The Villa looked even better in person than it did online. We went with another couple, they had the upstairs bedroom, bathroom and their own terrace and we had the main floor bed and bathroom. The shared terrace was very large with a gorgeous view. Many condiments left for us in the kitchen. I hope we can return for more than five nights next time. I would highly recommend this home and thank Jimmy and Susan for letting us rent it. And Jimmy, the restaurant I remembered from our trip four years ago is still there and still delicious! Paradiso de Nerja! It is a paradise in Spain.

Schönes Haus mit tollem Meerblick!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub in diesem gut eingerichtetem Haus! Die Beiden Terassen bieten einen hervorragenden Blick auf das Mittelmeer, die Wohnräume sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Küche gross genug zum Kochen und die zwei Bäder waren praktisch für unsere sechsköpfige Familie. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr freundlich und schnell! Alles prima!
