The location of this property is absolutely brilliant- right across from a beautiful and not busy beach!! Add the front porch for hanging out with a view and it’s perfect.The interior space is generously sized although a bit dated and there is plenty of closet and storage space for unpacking. FYI, parking for more than one car can be a little tricky. We usually were able to get a spot for a second car but it wasn’t always available. There are basically 2 unassigned spots (the other 3 seem permanently occupied).

Kitchen was set up good. We had everything we needed. Stay was awesome great location and could see the waves perfectly. Only complaint is the one bed in the center room is hard not comfy at all had to put extra blankets down to make it comfy enough to get some sleep. But overall great place to stay!

Nice place BUT!

Super nice spot but. When we first walked in. Smelled like bleach very strong. Then as that wore off i could tell why. The entire stay the condo smelled like dog pee. The dinning room carpet was the source. It smelt like a dog was in there peeing on the carpet/rug several times. It was bad. 1rst fire the cleaning crew. They smelled it definitely and did nothing but cover it with bleach. 2nd. Throw the rugs out. I did reach out to the owner and let her know so i wouldnt be blamed. Its a shame people have no respect for others properly. But at the same time the cleaning crew should have taking care of the issue. I did get apologies from the owner but no discount. I feel like there should had been some compensation for smelling pee all week. Also. There was no TP in the place. Fyi there is no store or anyrhing to walk to at this properly. You have to drive to everything. Which wasent too bad but letting future guest know. Parking lot is very tight. Especially with a full size SUV. But other than the pee smell. Its a great location and my family had a great time. Note* i do expect some type of pet smell renting a pet friendly place. But the pee smell was very strong and over the top.

Thank you for your review. It was an uncalled for incident. As you can see by my reviews it was an isolated incident. You notified me of the problem the night before you checked out. This gave me no opportunity to correct the problem for you as your reservation was over. As in my ad I provide starter supplies only. There are no stores close but have FoodLion on 63rd and 79 th Street. I advise everyone about tight parking in my ad and in additional information sent by email and messages on VRBO. As for giving a return on the stay, I didn’t think of it because you had stayed the entire reservation without telling me so I could rectify the situation and did not give me any indication you were expecting a reduced rate. I have taken care of the situation by replacing the rugs and additional cleaning. I apologize again for the cleaners failing to do their jobs properly.

Exceptional

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed in Barbara's condo. We love the location and the accommodations, especially the front porch. It is convenient to areas we like to visit. We especially love that we can have our dog with us for our time away from home!

Drayton House

This is our third time staying at Barbara Dean's condo. We absolutely love the location and view from the front porch looking out to the ocean. The convenience of the residential neighborhood and the walkways is amazing.

Love this location!

Couldn’t ask for a better location and the view from the large front porch is amazing. We have stayed in a drayton house unit before and it’s the best area to stay in. Barbara was always very quick to respond. We had some issues with the dishwasher while there and it was the weekend so she couldn’t get a repair person out so it was an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. Appreciated that I could bring my shih tzus. The bed in master bath was very comfy! There was not any Live tv that we could really find, it seemed to be more streaming services.

Pet friendly stay

Property was very nice and clean, and a short walk to beach. It was awesome getting up each morning walking the beach and watching the beautiful sunrises. I would definitely stay again!

Wonderful location and property

We've been back here several times. It is a wonderful family friendly place to stay. AJ's Pizza is nearby and has the best pizza. Already booked for next summer.

Good location for a family stay

We came to Myrtle Beach for a baseball tournament at Ripken. This location was great, it was beachfront and 15 minutes from the field. The property manager was easy to get in touch with. The property was spacious, the kitchen was well stocked. We had a few minor issues but the owner remedied it asap. The parking was tight at times but overall we are very happy with our choice. Myrtle Beach is such a big place and hard to know where to stay but this condo was fantastic for our needs. We hope to be back. Thank you.

I purchased this property because I thoroughly enjoy this portion of Myrtle Beach Ocean front. I discovered it by chance while renting a different unit in Drayton House in year 2001. The unit was listed for sale, I looked at it and purchased.

この宿泊施設の特徴

It is a quiet location on the Golden Mile near all entertainment, restaurants, etc. Myrtle Beach has to offer. There is a city park located across street great for children.
The location allows for outside exercise for pets and their owners.
Balcony overlooking the ocean has a swing and bar height chairs for comfort and excellent views.
