This beautiful, air conditioned, 750 sq ft condo is located in the Sunscape Resort (former Holiday Inn Resort) on the 12th floor. After a full day of activities or just taking in the sun, getting a good night sleep is very important. There are two pillow-top Queen size beds in each of the bedrooms. The 10 Feet wide Balcony door completely opens to blend the living room and Balcony together, giving you the open feeling. The nightly sunsets from the private balcony will be etched in your memory forever. From the wide windows in the master bedroom, you can watch the ocean waves while reading your favorite book. We have owned this beautiful condo since 2002. We have had the pleasure of sharing our wonderful condo with our friends from many countries, including Australia, Spain, New Zealand, England, Italy, Germany and off course Canada, USA and Mexico. We love to travel and see what a beautiful place this world is. We are sure you would love our little 'Casitta' in the Sun.

What makes this apartment unique

Our condo has everything. First of all, it is oceanfront. The view from our 12th condo is spectacular. We have a large beach side swimming pool, , Reception, Bell boys, and shopping are all on site. Our condo is located Sunscape Resort, in the larger tower, facing the ocean. Its an easy 10 minute bus ride to downtown and 10 minute ride to the airport.

Newly remodeled Kitchenette includes full size fridge, Microwave, Toaster, Blender, Utensils, Built-in Two-burner Stove, Electric Skillet and Electric Fan. The Kitchenette is ideal for Breakfast or Lunches or even Dinner if you prefer to eat in.

Fantastic view!

First - we want to say "Thank You Gary" for allowing us to stay in your beautiful condo overlooking the Banderas Bay! The view in this pic is the absolute view we had during our stay! The condo was perfect for us three ladies! Very clean, spacious, and with all the amenities of home. On our arrival we took a taxi to Walmart and bought groceries. We typically had our breakfast and snacks at the condo - then in the evenings, we dined away from the condo at restaurants near by - all within walking distance. On our last full-day we did the "all-inclusive" with the resort. That was great! We did parasailing right on the beach in front of the resort! We viewed two weddings from the condo that were out on the jetty. AND, the nightly shows the resort put on were easily viewed from the balcony!

All in all - we had a the most fantastic vacation!

Already, we are talking about planning another trip back to Puerto Vallarta! We definitely will contact you again to book this beautiful condo for another vacation.

Gorgeous view of Puerto Vallarta bay!!!

We were very lucky to spend a couple of hours with Gary upon our arrival.

Before he had to run to catch his plane, he took the time to show us around in and out of the hotel. His kindness made a great start for our 25-day vacation!!!

Prior to booking, Gary communicated everything we needed very patiently. I must have sent him 20 e-mails :) From check in to check out, everything went smoothly.

The room could be updated/modernized but it had everything we needed, the bathroom is spacious and the shower is great with good water pressure. We also liked the fact that the toilets are separate.

What makes this place truly remarkable is the view from the balcony… it is to die for! We could watch the fireworks every night from the Pirate ship (good venue by the way for an evening of fun!).

The wifi worked like a charm and was very helpful as we did not sign up for international roaming with ATT.

The location is also very convenient, the new mall next to Sunscape “La Isla” offers lot of shops, coffee places and a movie theater with the latest reclining seats. They have special low price every Wednesday evening with one movie in original language (English). You can jump in the bus to downtown at the lights just outside of Sunscape, no need to look for the bus stop, they are very nice and stop for you anywhere 

Overall we had a wonderful time, it was our third time in PV and first time renting a condo through VRBO. We will definitively come back in the years to come and will recommend Gary and his accommodations to friends and family.

It was a wonderful week!

From the start we knew this was going to be a great week because Gary communicated everything we needed to know so proficiently. We had every bit of information needed for a smooth check in and that is what we had. No issues and right into our room. Room was well appointed with an AMAZING view. We were there for a cheerleading competition and the proximity to the venue was second to none.

We may be coming back next year for the same event and would not hesitate to book this suite again or recommend Gary and his accommodations to friends and family. Thanks for a great week!

Atrocious !

Let me start off by saying that I am well traveled and by no means a person who requires 5 star accommodations and treatment! In fact I enjoy simple accommodations and love the exploring cities and new areas. I believed that this condo fit the bill, but I was mistaken.

This Condo is on the Suncape property in PV and the management hosts the travelers or it would seem that they host it. Upon arrival, we were greeted kindly given our key and off to our room for our 6 day Honey Moon! Well to our shock and dismay the condo was not as described in fact it was trashed! No literally trashed there was trash throughout. It seemed that it was used a few times over and never cleaned. Ok so we chalked it up to some miscommunication and promptly went down to let the resort management now about the issue. Well we were met with dismissive attitudes and given ZERO help nor understanding for our concern. We were told that that condo is NOT apart of the hotel and to contact the owner. I was a bit confused because we were given a contract with contact info and the two personal listed were not helpful. One person left the job and the other simply did not care about our concern.

It was late we had no room and I was forced to pay for another room in the main hotel and hoped it would work out the next day. Well I was wrong there too.

I called the owner of the condo Gary and although empathic to my concerns, he really did not offer any real solutions to our problems. I told him that it was not acceptable and to “make this right”! Gary politely stated YES we will talk about it later no problem!

So I was forced to buy all new linens, cleaning supplies and my wife and I cleaned the room and supplied it with all the necessary items just to make it livable.

After a few conversations with Gary I was confident that he would honor his WORD and make it right, but I was wrong. Gary it would seem deflected and simiply passed it on to HOMEAWAY who also deflected and sent me by to the owner.

I have given the owner 3 weeks after my vacation to MAKE it right and pay for my out of pocket cost to the tune of $378.00 but he has not and its clear that he will not.

So what did I learn from this? Well I learned that be very very cautious when booking on this site as they do not back their product. Surely stay way from this property as the owner will not back up any incidents that may occur . read your contracts property owners like Gary will not remedy if there is a problem!

Owner's Response: I have owned this condo for 15 years and this is the first time an incident like this has happened. I have now hired a new manager, cleaning person. She assures me she will be very diligent and she will do a good cleaning job. So far, I am very happy with her. There is always two sides to every story. The condo was not trashed, but it was not cleaned so these guests stayed at the Sunscape Resort Hotel for 1 night. They told me they paid $365.00usd. Sunscape Reception told me that the guests paid $3356 Pesos or $169.00 and this included "All Inclusive" for 2 people. "All Inclusive" is NOT offered with my condo but they can buy All Inclusive for an Extra Charge from the hotel. The guest did not tell me the reason they paid $365.00 is because they rented two rooms because there were 4 adults. When booking my condo, they told me that they are only 2 adults but they checked in 4 adults in my condo because they did not want to pay the extra person charge. In late May, the guests requested a Chargeback on their Credit Card full amount of payment they had made to Homeway. The guest told their bank that they had cancelled this Reservation which is completely false. Anyone would ask why would the guest write a review if they never stayed in my condo? If they had cancelled the Reservation, why did they check in my condo? And why did they not cancel the payment before they checked in April? Here is the exact wording of the email I received from the Credit Card company for charge back ....."We are contacting you today to inform you that a chargeback has been issued by a guest who made a payment to you. The cardholder is claiming to have cancelled his/her reservation, but failed to receive a refund". I guess these guests wanted a vacation but did not want to pay for the accommodation. These guests also wanted Homeaway to refund them $365.00usd but the guests had only paid $169 for 1 night with All Inclusive. In the last 15 years, this is the first time we have come across a situation like this. I wanted you to know both sides of the story before you make up your mind. Please read the review from the guest who stayed in the condo after these people and had a wonderful time. Thank you very much for reading my side of the story also.

Great condo

This is my second visit to this condo. Love the location and the view! The owner is quick to respond with any questions/concerns. The resort is awesome . There's activities everyday. Costco is a mile away. Plenty of shopping close by. We will be back!!

Ken and Linda

We had a lovey time in PV. The condo needs some work to be done. We had to go out to Walmart to purchase a clean bathmat. The one there was so very dirty as was the kitchen mat. One of the chairs in the kitchen was tied together with a rope. The couch needs a good cleaning and some clean pillows. The bed in the front bedroom was very squeaky and needs a new mattress.

We called to have a new lightbulb put in the ight on the balcony but no one showed up to replace it so we gave up.

The view was spectacular!!!

With these simple updates and if it was refreshed this condo would be great.

Owner's Response: We want to thank Linda and Ken for their review. This condo was completely gutted from the inside and renovated in Year 2010. Both Queen size Pillowtop beds were also bought in the same year after the renovation. Even though I have a local Property Manager in PV looking after this condo, I still make two trips a year in June & oct every year to check up on the condo and to replace and repair anything that is worn out or broken. I would have certainly advised this guests to replace the mats and I would have gladly paid for them. thank you very much for this review. Gary fijay
