Xenia holiday home, Matera

We enjoyed our stay very much. Dora is an excellent host, and was very knowledgable and helpful regarding what to do an see in Matera. The apartment is just as described, very modern and spotlessly clean. We easily found free parking for the two days right out front. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the main piazza in Matera.

Matera 2024

Dora was very accommodating as we arrived later than we expected. She provided us with a map to local restaurants/cafes in the area which was helpful. The home was nicely decorated, very clean and beds were comfortable. The location was approx 15 min walk from the Sassi, it was a nice leisurely walk as you pass by cafes and local shops. Parking is very convenient. This location is also close to a grocery store and fruit market.

Comfortable and clean!

A beautiful and clean place to stay with a home-like feeling! Modern and updated amenities, to include wifi, air conditioning, television, and a washing machine added extra comfort. Dora and Antonio spent time providing us with useful information about the area, and were very pleasant and helpful. Some basic food, snacks, coffee and water were provided, which was very convenient and much appreciated. Location was perfect--a quick walk into the breathtaking sassi! -Tami and Jacob (United States)

Matera

Apartment was well located, could walk into Matera vert easily. Parking was very difficult. A spot was secured for us the first day but after that, we had to spend a good amount of time searching for spots near the apartment. Apartment's wifi is strong as long as you use it from the bedroom. No laundry was available.

Magnifique appartement

Excellent accueil de Dora . Passionnée par Matera, Dora nous a donné beaucoup d'explications et de conseils pour la visite. Appartement très cosy, moderne avec un équipement de qualité et d'une propreté jamais égalée. Idéalement situé pour visiter Matera. Descriptif conforme à la réalité. Merci Dora pour ce séjour.

Great property and location

The best welcome and the most comfortable apartment we have had in Italy

We were greeted with outstanding, generous and thoughtful hospitality. The apartment was spacious and well appointed. Our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was large and modern. The cleanliness throughout reflected the fastidiousness of our hosts. The Sassi was within an easy eight minute walk and we found free parking on the street just outside the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wholeheartedly recommend staying here. We would rate our stay as a real 10 out of 10. Thank you Dora and Antonio

10/10 - Perfect Accommodation!

Dora and Antonio are the perfect hosts. Their communication and help was fabulous. The apartment was immaculate and had everything we could need. We have been travelling for more than 30 years and would rate it in the top 3 of the 200 apartments we have stayed in over that time. Dora and Antonio waited outside for over an hour to ensure that we could park our car safely and conveniently located next to the apartment. Then they spent time with us answering our questions and providing advice on where to go and what to do. And Dora even supplied a delicious home made fruit tart! And Antonio zipped out to get us some fresh Matera Bread as well. I don't think we can say enough! We would recommend anyone to stay here.
