Split is perfect place to explor history and way of living in dalmatia, it will offer you special expirience and you will never forgot it. Villa Galla is in middle of old town so you could forgot on cars, taxi or public transfer.

This house is build on historical place, when we start to redecorated we found walls of old Rome, you could see it inside so you are in small museum. Our Villa is IN front of Palace, neare park and city Market, beach where you could meet lokala peopel, and feel Real Split soul. Everything interesting is just few minutes on foot.It has two terrace with beautiful view and outside furniture. Whole property offers comfor for big groups and special experience. Location is perfect becouse IT is just 5 minutes from palace what offers peace for sleeping and still everything is so close.
IT is classic CITY villa with 9 units redecorated in modern and comfortabe style.
Every Room offers privacy Like in small hotel.
ON the ground floor we have big living space plas kitchen and 2 more bathrooms.
All together is around 400m2 and we comfortable could accomodate 16 peopel maximum 20.

we organize all transports necessary to our guests but in general you do not need car.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We had an amazing time staying here - the location was perfect and our host was so generous! We arrived to a wonderful spread of meats, cheese, bread and wine and we got a ton of recommended activities in the area. The layout/stairs takes some getting used to but we loved that everyone got their own room and bathroom!

Great stay. Owner was wonderful making sure we had everything we needed. Location was close to everything and lots of room. Perfect for us and extremely welcoming. As noted in description the house does have a lot of steps.

Great place for our ladies group!

We had eight women who used all 8 bedrooms, each with bath. We each had privacy but gathered on the rooftop terrace. 2 bedrooms on each floor separated by a flight of stairs. Worth it because the views are terrific!

Great for group

Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host. Great historic property for a large group of friends. Rooms are all on separate floors. The common / living room area to hang out is only accessible from outdoors - it was raining when we were there so that made it hard and we didn’t use it. It looks like an old hostel or small hotel and that the “common area” was the lobby.

Villa Galla Review

We loved everything about this property. It worked great for our group of 3 families. We had 15 people total, 6 parents and 9 kids ages 10-18. We rented the entire villa and all the bedrooms worked out great….the 4th floor terrace was an awesome place to start and end our days. Ante was an fantastic host, from the welcome spread of meat and cheese to the local recommendations for dining and swimming. The Villa Galla is also only a 5 min walk to old town! I wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!

Best VRBO hosts I’ve worked with!

I plan travel for a large group of friends once a year and use VRBO and other rental sites quite a bit. I cannot say enough about their helpfulness and friendliness. Adrijana helped us plan an excursion to KRKA and a local family winery. Ante greeted us personally, told us about the history of the beautiful house, and helped us store luggage. He gave us great recommendations and was so easy to contact with questions. If you have a group or even just need room, make sure to consider this amazing property. It’s a beautifully renovated old house. Comfortably fit a large group of us and gave us enough privacy. It’s also less than a 5 minute walk to old town and restaurants, bars, and shops.

Idéal pour un groupe

Nous avons loué ce logement pour un groupe de 10 amies pour un séjour festif. L’hôte a été très arrangeant en stockant nos bagages dans un local bien avant l’heure de check in prévue. Il a été à notre écoute, très disponible et agréable. Nous avons eu un magnifique plateau de charcuterie et fromage accompagné de pain et de vin à notre arrivée. Nous avons largement profité de la terrasse au dernier niveau, le temps était beau et chaud. Nous n’avons pas utilisé l’annexe avec cuisine et salon car la kitchenette et la terrasse nous ont suffit car nous avons passé beaucoup de temps à l’extérieur du logement. Tout cela a largement contribué à rendre notre séjour top.

World Heritage spot near old city split and ferries

Adrijana and Ante, our hosts, coul not have been more attentive and helpful. They arranged a van to take our luggage from the ferry to the villa eliminating need to drag luggage up cobblestones streets. The welcomed us with a lovely prszut and cheese plate and their friends white wine. When we asked about coffee makers they immediately went out and bought us one. One of us had a minor medical problem and Andrijana sent us lots of info guiding us through the process of getting him care. The villa is cleaned every other day which is nice. One caution I would give: the kitchen is tiny with no oven and 2 toylike burners so if you have a desire to cook you will have some challenges. Otherwise the roof terrace, en suite bath for all rooms, cleanliness, friendliness, and excellent location can’t be beat.

Great hosts! Wonderful location.

Great stay... rooms are beautifully appointed. It is 8 bedrooms and one has a small kitchenette in it. There is a lovely outdoor table/patio on the top floor which was great to hang out in. It is 5 floors, two bedrooms on each floor. Historic old building restored with love. Hosts are super wonderful!

Short but Sweet

We were visiting Split in the middle of our trip to Croatia and chose Villa Galla for our one night stay. There were 16 of us and the Villa had8 very similar rooms which made it good for the group. The property manager was there to meet us and get us checked in. The process was easy. He was very friendly and helpful even helping carry luggage up all the stairs. We didn't anticipate how many stairs there was and that was the only hard part about it. The rooms were clean and each room had a bathroom. The location was great, in the heart of old town which was very convenient for what we wanted to do. If I had a large group again I would definitely stay at Villa Galla.

Beautiful Home in the Heart of Split
