Fabulous stay!

I stayed here for a few days with my mother, sister, and son for a few days visit in London before we headed back to Houston. The location was absolutely perfect for us to get out and explore and there were food options galore. Communication with David was easy and he quickly answered every question I had. He gave very detailed directions to his place and for check in which we very much appreciated. The apt itself was exactly as described and David has a wonderful guidebook filled with lots of good information. We didn't cook here, but if we had wanted to, everything we would have possibly needed was included. The only thing that could have been improved was fluffier pillows, but everything else was truly great and I would definitely stay here again

Very central for everything in London

This apartment is a bit smaller than we'd hoped as the picture of the bedroom makes it look very spacious. For two of us this was perfect but I wouldn't want to stay with more than three people... with the sofa bed made up there is very little living space and nowhere comfortable to sit, and no TV in the living area. The kitchen and bathroom are very nice though, good shower and nice fittings. The location is fantastic; it is so central to Covent Garden, Soho and the Theatres, it was really perfect for us in this respect.

Perfect place for a perfect trip!!!!

The apartment is located in a quiet street between Covent Garden and Soho, convenient to the Tube Station of Tottenham Court Road and Covent Garden. Small well-stocked with everything you need, clean and comfortable. We stayed 3 nights with a disabled person who easily had access to the apartment via the lift in this building. Easy key recovery both on arrival and departure as well as communication with the owners always available. Recommended for those who want to enjoy a few days in this beautiful city and I hope to have the opportunity to go back there soon.

Lovely flat in perfect location

The flat was very well equipped, a great location in a quiet street but in the heart of Covent Garden and Soho. I would highly recommend and hope to stay again.

Neat and convenient

The apartment was as per the pictures posted and overall everything was spot on. It is less than 5 mins walk from Tottenham Courts Road station. However, there is a hassle of obtaining the key from a convenient store quite a distance away from the propert and also not informing the apartment's password beforehand (if you were to use Three mobile operator then you may have to try very hard to find the signal, otherwise you simply walk out from the building). Also, I was a little baffled to find an unflushed toilet.

Perfect location

the flat was in a perfect location - close to Covent Garden - West End - etc. Quiet street and very secure as it is up a flight of stairs and hidden in the back. Very clean with good instructions on how to use everything in the flat - the light switches, the knobs on the tub, etc. They even had some tea bags and milk for us when we arrived!

The perfect flat in a great location

This flat was everything we hoped it would be. It was just the right size for three of us and had all the amenities listed. Sara kept us informed as the date approached. The materials she sent gave us more than enough information about the neighborhood. We arrived early and were told that we could drop our luggage early. We were delighted to find that the place was clean and ready shortly after we arrived. Great news after the red-eye from the US. The kitchen was well equipped and all sorts of dining was nearby when we didn't feel like cooking. Theater, shopping, and underground access are all a short walk away. The only oddity I can recall is that you take the elevator to the third floor then walk down one floor to get to the flat. I recommend this property for a group of 2-4 travelers wanting a place in a central walkable location.

Location, Location, Location

Somehow, it's both quiet and in the middle of everything. It's not big (sleeping more than four is a stretch), but the price is right, the building is clean, the street is safe, and you're provided with a great guide to the neighborhood and the city.

QUIET, COMFORTABLE, WELL THOUGHT OUT!

We really enjoyed our stay at the flat. First answers to the questions I had before making my booking. Is it in a safe location? YES Will the flat be quiet? YES Is this one of the best values of places to stay, flat wise? YES Will this location be in the center of everything? YES Will the flat have everything I need upon arrival to make the stay comfortable? Yes,except we had to buy a power converter (UK-US). Will the flat be easy to get to from the tube (metro rail)? YES, although there is heavy construction currently out of Tottenham Court Station at the moment and we were turned around finding it the first time. Once you get past that its a 2 minute walk. **One other note. The flat is on the third floor. You must go to the second floor either by elevator or the stairs and walk to the end of the hall, climb one flight of stairs and the flat is one of two located in the corner of the building. We felt like we were going the wrong way the first time finding it. But the location just makes it feel more secure.** Are there instructions on how to use the flat and is everything well laid out?? YES, quite funny ones if you have the time to read through them, I suggest doing so. YES, no wasted space whatsoever and very well thought out. We felt lucky to be staying here. It was like having a back door right into the city center. As quiet as it can be where the flat is located and amongst some of the busiest parts of the city less than a 1min walk away. As a person who has had trouble sleeping his whole life the flat was an oasis of solitude, very much appreciated after a trip over the Atlantic. Much time and care has been put into creature comforts and amenities for those staying here. This felt like staying in a home that someone wasn't using instead of a flat setup for a rental. The bathroom and kitchen have heated floors and small things like a heater in the mirror in the bathroom make you feel pampered. There were even arrows for the sink in the bathroom showing hot and cold directions that when viewed via the mirror appeared correctly, meaning they had to be printed backwards. The more time you spend or look around the more of these things you will find. We would recommend staying here to anyone. It was only my wife and I and we were comfortable space wise and 4 people wouldn't be a stretch. But I can see if you had six people staying here, it would work space wise but you better know one another well. Hope this helps. Cheers

Cozy little flat in a great central location

This flat was our hub for a four night visit to London and it worked great for us. The location is superb, within a few minutes walk to three different tube stops, but situated on a quiet side street. It is very close to Neal's Yard, Covent Garden and Soho, so there is plenty to do and plenty of places to eat very close by. I have to recommend Bill's Restaurant for breakfast/brunch, Belgo Centraal for beer and mussels, and Hotel Chocolat for a mocha. I did not try the Ramen place on the corner, but it was always was busy and looked very good and authentic. The flat itself is small and busy. There are tons of books, including many on the city and the underground in particular. You do have at least one flight of stairs, either up or down, to get to the flat, so keep that in mind. The shower was very nice, and I love towel warmers and underfloor heating. Everything was *very* thoroughly labeled and documented. The wifi worked well, except on the last day, when it didn't. Communication with the property manager, before and after our stay, was excellent. One of my biggest fears with staying in private homes like this is finding out it is not what was promised or advertised. This place was exactly as it was claimed, and we had no suprises, which means a lot. The downsides? The bed is not very comfortable. Firm is one thing, but lumpy is another. The sofa bed was a bit better, but it fills the living room and we couldn't figure out how to close it to save room during the day. We also couldn't get the heating to settle down so it was always a bit warm inside. Overall, we had a very nice visit to London and the convenience of this flat was a big part of that good experience.

Great flat with Perfect location

The family and I had a great time exploring London and coming back to this modern flat right in the heart of Covent Garden. It was perfect for us, just blocks from Tottenham road tube stop and surrounded by great restaurants and pubs. Plenty of room for our family of four - the shower was great with heated floors in the bathroom. Lots of sunlight too. Would definitely recommend.

Smart, comfortable, quiet, and great location

Wonderful location in the middle of everything. We slept with the windows open every night, with zero noise problems. Very smart flat, has everything you need, and well-designed. Our two sons slept comfortably on the sofa bed, and they were 12 and 14 at the time (and good-sized). Easy walk to theaters, pubs, restaurants, and tube. A home away from home.

Great apartment!

Perfectly located in the theater district, thus close to many of the typical tourist attractions, this well furnished, very clean apartment with all amenities, especially welcome for longer stays allowing us to cook, wash clothes, etc. Nice heated floors and towel warmers. Customer service was excellent! Listing description was accurate for location, layout, facilities. What i could wish for is to have the bathroom ventilation repaired, and that the master bed had an extra mattress for better comfort. Neighbours were rarely heard. Outdoor traffic and noise was sometimes disturbing ofr us not being used to living in the city. We stayed there for 10 days.

Great flat in a teriffic location

We loved our stay at this flat, which we found to be nicely furnished, well-equipped and very well located. It was clean and quiet, tucked away just a block from the hustle and bustle, and with a "secret garden" we discovered next door. You could walk to several theatres in five minutes or less, as well as to the British Museum and other spots. This turned out to be a real blessing as there was a tube strike while we were there, and traffic/busses were a nightmare those days. We were lucky to be able to walk to our destinations! The flat was very clean. It's quite small in the living room (and no dining room, but we didn't mind eating at the counter when eating in.) Only odd thing was that you had to walk through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, which was okay for us (a family), but could be a bit awkward for two couples....All in all though, great value for the money in the heart of London. We really liked it!

A very well located, cosy, and clean flat!

I liked the furnishing and the personality of this flat. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The description of the flat and its facilities was accurate, and detailed, clearly written indications (i.e. how to open and close the windows, how to use the microwave) were also provided inside the apartment to help customers. The kitchen was well equipped, and the bathroom worked perfectly. Both the manager and owner helped us to arrange our stay in the best way. The property is very well located, at walking distance from the British Museum, theaters, many restaurants and pubs. I not only would recommend the flat to a relative or a friend, but definitely I would like to come back here in my next visit to London!

Fabulous flat in the heart of Covent Garden

We truly enjoyed this location. We traveled with our three young children, and between a roll-away and the pull-out couch, they slept well. There was no noise at night, and the kitchen met our needs well (the induction stovetop is a dream!). We loved having a washer/dryer and our showers were reliably warm enough. The area is safe and only a five-minute walk from the Tottingham Road tube station. Foyle's bookstore is nearby and became a favorite stop. The apartment is humid, so prepare to open windows, but it was not a big issue for us. Thanks to the cleaning staff the flat was spotless and we were well cared-for during our stay. They even left me a hairdryer!

Terrific flat, outstanding location

We really enjoyed our stay in this flat. The location is perfect. Walking distance to all the main sites in the West End and everything else is a short tube ride away - being next to two Underground stations makes it super easy to get around. We did a lot of food shopping at Harrods because it was so easy to get to. Despite it's prime location, it's really quite - it's on a small, quiet street with only local traffic. We actually slept with the windows open (there was a bit of a heat wave when we stayed). Overall, it was really comfortable, it felt like we were staying with a friend, not some anonymous flat.

Perfect location in the heart of London

This condo is exactly as described and as shown in pictures. Two of us stayed in this condo in early March, and we were very pleased to find it truly in the heart of London. This condo is also very clean and has all the amenities that anyone could ask for. David was very prompt in responding to any questions that I had regarding the condo, and made us feel very at ease in travelling to an unfamiliar city. Lots of helpful information, including directions from every airport, were provided. I would definitely recommend to family and friends for future travel. Don't miss out on this place:)

Great 1 bedroom flat near everything!

I stayed here for 3 nights with other friends. Flat was sparkling clean and well-stocked. We called the cleaner the day before to see if we could check-in early and she was great working with us. We also asked to leave our luggage until later on the last day, and she was fine with that as well. We couldn't have asked for a better location, so close to everything. Great little convenience store right around the corner and a nice pub with live music (The Spice of Life) a few blocks away. Absolutely loved it, had a wonderful time and hope to return and stay again soon. Thanks, David and Cristina!

Location & absolute comfort

This apartment is absolutely spot on! My husband and I stayed for 2 weeks and we loved everything about this place. Location - superb! Restaurants, theatre, public transport, supermarket, shopping.... You name it and its 5 minutes away. Bus # 24 stops right next door which takes you to all the touristy places like, Trafalgar Square, Westminster etc. 2 mins from the apartment you have rows of restaurants and theatres and nightlife for the party animals. The apartment itself is very cute and cozy. I think a couple can stay comfortably for long stay. There is enough storage and room to move around. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and well maintained. And finally David is a gracious host.. He was very patient with all my questions pre-visit and also checked with us a few times during the stay to see if things were going well. Thank you David ... I would highly recommend this apartment. Some restaurant recommendation - Bali Bali (Indonesian) cheap foot... Jamie Oliver's Union Jack, Brazilian BBQ ... All are 2 mins away. The coffee shop downstairs serves a great brew!
