Mare nostrum est situé au milieu de la baie d'Alykes, qui est une magnifique plage dans la partie orientale de Zakynthos. Le nom Mare nostrum, qui signifie "notre mer" en latin, représente son emplacement idéal juste en face de la mer. Ici, vous pourrez profiter de la vue exceptionnelle sur les eaux bleues cristallines et vous retrouver dans un endroit calme et paisible.

L'espace

Mare nostrum est un nouveau bâtiment et est développé à deux niveaux.
Au levier inférieur, il y a une grande cour où vous pourrez profiter de votre café, vous détendre, lire un livre, bronzer ou passer votre temps à jouer.
L'appartement est situé au niveau supérieur et se compose de deux chambres avec lits doubles, une cuisine ouverte entièrement équipée avec une petite salle à manger et une salle de bains.
En face de l'appartement, il y a une grande terrasse où vous pourrez profiter du lever du soleil, vous pouvez prendre votre petit-déjeuner sous l'ombrage énorme, ou votre boisson sous un ciel plein d'étoiles.

Perfect location and perfect hosts

We were 3 friends one week in Zakinthos. They were wonderful days, for the island, but above all because our hosts made the stay unforgettable. The situation of the apartment is unbeatable, on the beach, but the most important thing is that they are aware that nothing is missing. We have at our disposal, kayak, bicycles, books, games, etc. In addition to the gifts upon arrival: cold water, grapes, sweets, etc. and other days, cake or raisins. Excellent Accommodation

We stayed for 1 week in this beautifully presented property which had everything we needed. The fantastic views of the sea, the spacious terrace and the closeness to the water for swimming were the selling points for us and we weren’t disappointed! As for our hosts, Dennis and Maria, they were there to welcome us on arrival, show us around and even had some essentials, (juice, water, sweet treats) to get us underway. They were always on site if anything was needed, yet they were never intrusive and having never been to Greece before we found them to be a truly lovely introduction to Greek people - genuine, kind and extremely friendly. We had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend to anyone wishing to visit this resort.

Just got back from our holiday in Alykes at Mare Nostrum apartment. The accommodation was just what we wanted, clean , comfortable, with all the little extras you could wish for. Beach just at the end of the garden with crystal clear warm water. Maria and Dennis were the perfect hosts. Thank you !

2 weeks of bliss

We had a fabulous holiday in Mare Nostrum. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was fully equipped with everything we needed for our stay, right down to the small details. From olive oil and vinegar to cling film and mosquito repellent, it was all included. The apartment is situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of town which for us was ideal and as we were out of town, meant our little part of the beach was lovely and quiet. The sea in front of the apartment is something else! It is so clean, warm and shallow and we spent a lot of our holiday in there swimming and using the kayaks and dinghy belonging to the apartment. All in all a fabulous holiday and we will definitely return. Thank you for your hospitality.

Damien,Key and the girls Amba and Molly are excellent quests.They are all happy and smiling,very calm and discreet but also they are full of energy.They used all the sea stuff and they enjoyed a lot with them.They are communicated not only with us but also with their neighbours.They took care of our home like it was theirs.We hope you to come back next year.

Relaxing holiday in beautiful Zante

We arrived at about 7am in the morning and were greeted with a cold drink and homemade cake and this was just the start of the great hospitality we received. The apartment is comfortable with air conditioning and the most amazing view of the sea. Every morning I woke up and marveled at the beautiful clear sea. The hosts also provide free of charge kayaks and inflatables for guests to use which is a great idea. I would recommend you take rubber shoes for getting into the sea as the first few feet is pebbly, after this it is sand which allows you to go for long walks along the beach. Alikes has some good restaurants but it was always nice to return to the peace and quiet of the apartment. If you are looking for a nice peaceful holiday but want to experience excellent Greek hospitality then this is the place to book. We hope to return again in the future. Thanks for a lovely holiday

Reitchel, Martin and their family are the quests that everybody host dreams to have.They are very polite and friendly, smiling and distinctive. They explored Zante,they used the canoes,the sunbeds and seabeds.Martin was fishing sea shells and he gave them to us.They respect the place and when they left, the home was as clean and tidy as on their arrival.We hope they had a beautiful time here and we would be very glad to see all them again in future.

Paradise home away from home

To say we loved it here would never do this place justice. We slept with the sounds of the sea, we woke with beautiful views. The hosts are amazing people who really helped me out. I had a medical emergency and they did all they could to help. I was so very thankful for their kindness and care! The apartment is immaculate, the kitchen well equipped and the shower lovely and hot. It felt like home, so relaxing. The romantic meals overlooking the sea, the swims in the ocean just feet from your back door or the birthday cake made for my partner It would be great for two couples. The beach is pebbles until your in the water a bit. Water shoes really useful. There are lilos and masks, fins, boats etc for your use. They even put out two bikes for us, unfortunately I couldn't use them. I would recommend a car, as the hosts had done, unfortunately I had forgotten my driver's license :( When we go back we will wait and rent a car, dune buggy, moped or 4 wheeler from the local villages. Lots of choice. I can't recommend this location, property or hosts highly enough and can't wait to go back!! Already looking at what dates we can come back and will be booking again soon. Would recommend the pirate ship tour of the island and Alakonlikos, a local restaurant...yummy.

A real gem!

We were looking for complete relaxation and friendly Greek hospitality in a beautiful setting and we have found it here at Mare Nostrum. The very comfortable apartment is immaculately clean, very well equipped, with lots of little extras such as oil, vinegar, loo roll etc..little touches that will save you the usual early rush to the nearest shop! A few steps lead down from your terrace, through a grape laden pergola, towards the private pebbled beach and crystal waters ( beach shoes would be advisable ). We were very happy to find a selection of inflatable boats, rings etc. available to the guests. The charming owners were extremely helpful and welcoming and made us very quickly feel at home. This is a very special place with very special people and we fully intend to return.

Claude and Charlet were in need of a relaxing week so they spent most of their hours at the house and beach. They were very friendly and we had a very pleasant time with them.They took care of the house as it was their home. We hope that they will come back again

Great place for vacations
