5* stay that was absolutely perfect

Andreas is like a part of my family now and I know that he feels the same way. His place is only a short walk away from an excellent local beach with crystal clear water and it is perfect for those with little children. There is a connivence store that is a three minute walk away. The apartment was immaculately clean and was very comfortable. Andreas and his family were always willing to help and provided excellent recommendations around the island. I would recommend anyone to stay here while they are in Zakynthos because Andreas and his family will make you feel a part of their family. I look forward to our next stay next time we are on the island.

A lovely secluded property ideal for families.

We had a fantastic stay at Dora apartments, The apartments were roomy with all modern facilities, ideal for a young family. It's surrounded by an enclosed garden, which our 5 year loved exploring and is in a very peaceful setting. The owner, Andreas, is really helpful and gave us loads of useful tips to help us enjoy our stay. The beach was a short walk away through some lovely lemon and olive groves and has fantastic shallow waters which was ideal for our young family. There is a beach bar on 'Donkey beach' which is ideal for lunch or ice creams. Also there is a supermarket and butchers close by. We enjoyed a lovely BBQ as a result. There are a few good tavernas within walking distance from the apartments or the resort of Tsvili is a walk a long the beach away or a short drive away. We would recommend doing one of the many boat trips. It was wonderful seeing the turtles swimming in the sea and seeing more of the island from the boat. Our only negative is that we couldn't stay longer.

Sono stato in questa location 11 giorni con la mia famiglia.È una villetta composta da 2 appartamenti indipendenti circondati da ampio e curatissimo giardino, molto tranquillo.L'interno della casa è pulito e spazioso.Ottimo per chi desidera relax.Il proprietario, Andreas, è disponibile per qualsiasi informazione.Molto apprezzata la spiaggia raggiungibile in 5 minuti a piedi.Posizione ottimale per raggiungere molte delle spiagge più importanti. Dista a circa 15 minuti di macchina da Zante Citta'.Consigliato per chi cerca relax e natura. Grazie ancora ad Andreas per tutti i consigli che ci ha fornito.Nicola

Staying in Zakynthos at Andreas is great!

to keep it simple: we had a great time at Andrea`s place in Zakynthos. Starting with the Car-Rental he recommended (Caretta-Cars). Perfect Service! Cheaper than others, they brought the car to the airport and took it back from the airport! no need to wait in a row at the big rentals! thnx for the tip! Andreas place is great! although it is really close to Tsilivì, you feel like you are alone when sitting outside in the evening. the garden is huge (and Andreas is really taking care of it) green grass to play for the kids, a fence arround the hole garden, so you do not have to watch the kids play! there are figs, pomegranates, lemons to pick all wrapped with beautiful olivetrees. the house is clean, everything there you need! a little beach with a nice bar is within 5 mins walk! Andreas is a great host! always caring if you need something and having great tips he is sharing when you arrive (secret beaches/ good restaurants) (there is a washing mashine one can use,too, which is not mentioned here) if you should consider travelling to Zakynthos: go and stay at Andreas place!!!! you will love it! esp for familys and people who love to have their privacy! 5 STARS for this holidays!

Nice place for a family

A very nice apartment with a quiet atmosphere. Big dining and living space, two bedrooms with space for a family of four plus a toddler. Private parking and big lawn on the front. Great position for exploring the island. The owner, Andreas is very helpful.

Andreas est très accueillant et toujours disponible pour ses hôtes. La maison est très bien située à 5 minutes à pied de la mer, et dispose d’un Grand jardin (parfait pour les enfants) Les chambres sont spacieuses et nous avions même un vrai lit à barreaux pour notre bébé, ce qui est encore mieux qu’un lit parapluie. Je recommande vraiment ce logement avec une superbe terrasse. Merci à Andreas pour son amabilité et sa disponibilité

Highly recommended! Excellent host!

The apartment is excellent, really clean, tidy and well equipped. The garden area is lovely and patio area is great to relax on. Good location - you can walk to the beach in 5 mins and there are lots of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Andreas was an absolutely brilliant host, excellent communications and nothing was too much trouble for him. He gave us lots of useful information, particularly the location of some excellent beaches. Our favourite was Daphni - amazing for snorkelling. For all there is a beach in walking distance, to get the most out of your stay hire a car, as there is lots to see and do if you get out and explore. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend the apartment and Andreas as a host!

Una bellissima location in una zona tranquilla

Attirati dalle belle recensioni abbiamo deciso di trascorrere circa 15 gg da Andreas. La casa era come la avevamo vista sul sito, un bellissimo posto immerso negli ulivi, il prato davanti alla casa era una piacevole area verde dove il nostro gatto si è molto divertito. La casa ha tutti i comfort che servono, cucina fornita di tutto, grande frigorifero con congelatore, aria condizionata nelle stanze da letto, un bellissimo barbecue che abbiamo molto sfruttato durante le nostre serate. Dai terrazzi delle camere da letto si poteva vedere l'alba e la spiaggia è a pochi passi e mai affollata, ideale per le famiglie con bambini. Logisticamente la località è fuori dal turismo di massa, ma è baricentrica rispetto alle attrazioni di Zante. Il paese più vicino, Planos è a 2 km di auto ed ha tutto ciò che serve, nelle vicinanze sono presenti alcune taverne dove si possono gustare la tipica cucina greca. Insomma una bellissima esperienza.

Very nice villa with big garden and olive trees, perfect for families being quiet, isolated and close to the beach. Sehr schöne Unterkunft

Wir haben 2 Wochen im Mai im kleinen Dorf Tragaki verbracht und waren voll zufrieden. Die Unterkunft und der schöne Garten sind sehr gepflegt, die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und Andreas hat uns sehr gut betreut. Die Wohnung liegt herrlich ruhig, kein Straßenlärm stört den Nachtschlaf in den wirklich guten Betten. Zum sehr idyllischen Sandstrand sind es nur ca. 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Der Strand ist bewirtschaftet und hat auch eine nette Strandbar. Im Mai war er nicht überlaufen. Das Wasser ist klar und ziemlich flach, feinsandiger Untergrund.

very nice place to stay!

Ar the end of april we stayed more than a week at this great place! It is a very nice and quiet place the to stay. The apartment is situated in a beautiful surrounding with olive trees and a big garden to relax. The house is very neat and clean. The owner and his family did everything to make it us comfortably and to have a nice stay. Surprise: several times the owner cleaned he apartment. They also let us tast from the fruit in the garden and recommend us fantastic places to go. We had a week we will never forget! We recommend this apartment!

Great family apartment

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children under 6. Andreas was very helpful from the start with advice on getting to the apartment and was friendly and helpful during our stay. The apartment itself had plenty of space for us all, it was clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was s bonus for the kids to play while we relaxed. I'd stay here again.

Séjour au calme

Notre séjour a commencé mi-juin. Nous ne louons pas de voiture lors de nos voyages. Andréas, le propriétaire est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport et, une heure après après nous avoir déposé à l'appartement (nous étions arrivés de Belgique à 19h30 à Zante), il nous a emmenés à un restaurant situé à courte distance en voiture, vu que notre frigo était encore vide. Le lendemain, il nous a emmenés au Market à Tsilivi afin de vfaire les provisions les plus encombrantes et les plus lourdes pour notre séjour de 2 semaines. A notre arrivée et pendant trois jours, il a fait de 39 à 41° à l'ombre. Il existe une petite plage accessible par un sentier en descente à 400m de l'appartement (avec bar de plage et pte restauration), mais nous nous sommes généralement rendus à la plage calme située à 1 km où vous pouvez profiter d'une pelouse, de transats et d'un parasol à condition de prendre une consommation. Il y a aussi deux restaurants. C'est également là qu'Andréas va nager. Il vous montrera. Le bungalow est très fonctionnel (voir photos sur le site) et propre. C'est sa maman qui habite à côté qui nettoie et change le linge. Il existe un market qui vend du bon pain à 300m sur la "route principale" ainsi qu'une boucherie qui a des belles côtes à l'os pour le magnifique barbecue. Là se trouve également l'arrêt de bus (à peu près 1 par heure, l'horaire est à l'arrêt) pour Tsilivi, Zante et le reste de l'ile Il est évidemment souhaité de louer une voiture, la maison se situant vraiment au calme ( vous dormirez come des bébés), mais sinon, tout est possible si vous aimez marcher (c'est les vacances, on a le temps)en bus, ou même en taxis qui ne sont pas chers (7 ou 8 euros jusque Tsilivi. Andréas habite la maison à côté et est très accueillant et disponible. Depuis notre départ, et sur mon conseil, il a installé une machine à laver le linge. Ne vous encombrez donc pas trop, vous n'êtes pas à l'hotel, mais à la campagne mais près de tout, une autre manière de découvrir ce beau pays. Bref, si vous êtes débrouillards et n'avez pas besoin d'un all-in surchargé, allez-y les yeux fermés, vous passerez des vacances reposantes. Serge (Nivelles- Belgique)

Bellissimo appartamento

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana io, mia moglie, mio figlio di 14 mesi e due amici di famiglia. Siamo stati benissimo: Andreas è disponibilissimo e ci ha dato fin da subito molte informazioni utili. L' appartamento è spazioso, la cucina veramente ben accessoriata (spesso non è così anche se viene scritto sulle caratteristiche) ed il giardino è perfetto per i bambini. Il barbecue poi è spettacolare e rappresenta una bella aggiunta alla casa (noi lo abbiamo usato praticamente tutte le sere). La zona è molto tranquilla anche se non distante da Planos dove c'è confusione; si sentono gli aerei partire ed arrivare ma ci si abitua subito e li si sente comunque in tutta l'isola fatta eccezione per la parte nord. Essendo al centro dell'isola è una buona base di partenza per visitare sia la parte nord che la baia delle tartarughe a sud mettendo in conto circa 30/40 minuti di macchina per spostarsi a Xigia o a Gerakas o a capo Keri. La spiaggia vicina non è tra le più belle dell'isola ma è comodissima per i bambini e dista 5 minuti a piedi. Ricapitolando consiglio a tutti l'appartamento e tornassi a Zacinto prenoterei ancora il Dora Apartment.

Splendido soggiorno!

Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questa splendida casetta. Posizione strategica per girare l' isola, fuori dal caos ma a due passi dal mare e dal centro di tsilivi. La casa è confortevole e conforme alle foto e alla descrizione. Il proprietario è stato sempre disponibile e premuroso. Se dovessimo tornare lo risceglieremo sicuramente!!

Eccellente in luogo tranquillo e strategico

Siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti dall’appartamento, perfetto per dotazione, spazi interni e giardino, in zona molto tranquilla. Andreas è una persona molto gentile, disponibile, discreta e mai invadente pur seguendo attentamente la pulizia della casa ed il cambio periodico di lenzuola ed asciugamani. La zona è perfetta per la visita dell’isola di Zacinto perché equidistante dalle spiagge della costa Sud e della costa Ovest; ovviamente le spiagge della costa Est sono più vicine. Assolutamente consigliato per chi vuole visitare tutta l’isola soggiornando in una zona tranquilla (perfetto per famiglie).

Sehr empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus

Wir haben in diesem Haus im Dorf "Tragaki" eine Woche lang Familienurlaub gemacht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist erst 3 Jahre alt, geräumig, sauber, gemütlich und gut ausgestattet (u.a. Klimaanlage, WLan, Küche, schöne, überdachte Terrasse, Grillplatz). Es liegt absolut ruhig in einem Olivenhain, mitten in einem großen, schön angelegten Garten in dem die Kinder den ganzen Tag rumtoben und spielen können. Das Grundstück ist uneinsehbar und ideal, wenn man relaxen und sich erholen möchte. Andreas, der Vermieter, wohnt auf dem Grundstück nebenan. Man hört und sieht den ganzen Tag nichts von ihm, außer man braucht Hilfe, dann ist er sofort zur Stelle. Andreas ist unkompliziert, überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit und er gibt jede Menge guter Tipps. In 5 Minuten erreicht man zu Fuß einen Sandstrand, der allerdings sehr klein ist und im August auch ziemlich voll war. Große Sandstrände findet man aber in nur 30 Autominuten Entfernung. Im Dorf Tragaki selber gibt es kaum Läden oder Restaurants. Zum Einkaufen, Ausgehen, Trubel geht man in die nur 2 km entfernte Touristenhochburg "Planos". Wer die faszinierende Schönheit der Insel erleben will (u.a. die Blauen Grotten und die Schiffswrackbucht im Norden oder die endlosen Sandstrände Laganas im Süden) braucht unbedingt ein Fahrzeug. Fazit: Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Wer Trubel, Sightseeing oder große Sandstrände liebt, ist hier auch richtig, braucht aber ein Fahrzeug.

relaxing break

had a really nice relaxing holiday at dora apartments,we visited with my mother and father each couple had their own apartment(adjoining)so no problem with neighbours.Andreas can not do enough for you and the whole family make you welcome,apartments and well maintained and really clean,aircon included if needed,nice short walk to local beach(donkey beach)which is a lot quieter than main beach in tsivili.its about 1km to first of many bars restaurants,great holiday

A wonderful place

Everything was just perfect: the apartment is wide enough for a family with two kids like ours. It is clean and silent. The garden is just woderful: you can leave you kids playing outside with no worries. The beach is close and you can reach it by foot. It is a nice beach even if you don't have to expect something special. In 20 mins by car you are in Zante. In few words, we strongly recommend the apartment for everyone who have kids, want to stay in a silent, relaxing and wonderful place. The last but not the least: the owner, Andreas, is a wonderful person as well, always ready to listen your needs and happy to have few words with you. We strongly recommend it!

Un séjour très agréable

Nous avons passé 2 semaines dans cette maison entourée d'un joli jardin (les photos sont conformes). C'est un endroit très proche d'une jolie plage et d'un commerce de proximité. C'est à l'écart du secteur animé, mais pas trop loin quand même. La maison est spacieuse pour 4, confortable (air conditionné) et très propre (ménage en milieu de semaine). Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité d'Andreas, ses conseils (visites et restaurant) et son service de navette de et pour l'aéroport. Petit bémol: le survol des avions, mais pas de gêne, ils ne sont pas très nombreux. Nous y reviendrons si nous revenons à Zante.
