Located in a late nineteenth-century building, with a noble entrance and relative accommodation for the horses of the carriages of the time, in the heart of what was the ancient "Firriato" of the Prince of Villafranca, our apartment is to be found today in one of the most exclusive areas of the center of Palermo, in an absolutely strategic and neuralgic position. Five minutes walk or less from the famous Piazza Politeama and from the very elegant Vie Libertà and RuggeroVII venues, moreover, of the most chic shops in the whole city, we find ourselves having all the most important lines of public transport close at hand, to easily reach the nearby port, but also the airport, Mondello, the city's renowned and lush seaside resort, the other neighborhoods and the nearby immense historic center, home to the very famous and appetizing street markets (Vucciria, Ballarò and Capo among the others) and redundant monuments and unique artistic masterpieces, the result of a centuries-old overlap of many of the most evolved cultures of all time, difficult to find in other parts of the world. The apartment strives to be in line with all this, a refined mix between the charm and the antique of the ceilings and decorated floors of the time and the modern of an elegant decor in neutral colors, deliberately never too intrusive. Renovated very recently, air-conditioned, equipped with, among other things, double glazing, Wi-Fi internet connection, satellite television and a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator and washing machine annexes, it is ideal for those wishing to spend a relaxing holiday compose part of the innumerable facets of a land so rich in charm and mystery.

When we arrived, our host Francesco was already there, he explained everything and recommended some nice restaurants. Communication in advance was easy! The flat is very nicely furnished and we liked to spend our time there. The area is nice and we could walk to the harbor and the old town. A supermarket was also in walking distance. In the kitchen was everything available to prepare breakfast or a little meal. You can also dry your laundry on the balcony There is a lot of traffic, but at night it is quiet. We haven‘t had a car, but parking could be difficult there.
Superb location, host, and experience! Can’t recommend this place more — quiet location, easily accessible to all the hot spots by foot, fantastic pizza around the corner, and a 5 minute walk to one of the few 24 hour supermarkets in Palermo. The host is top notch and first rate.

Thank you Francesco! We truly enjoyed our stay in Palermo. Your apartment has even more charm and character than the pictures indicate. Your guidance on restaurants was much appreciated as we enjoyed Siculo. You are a gracious host on our welcome and departure and enhanced our experience. Arrivederce e grazie!

Thanks Cynthia, here, you two, will be always welcome!
Had an amazing 2 nights at this Very Beautiful and extremely clean apartment in a very central part of Palermo, close to all the attractions. The host Francesco was incredibly informative and helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here to everyone. My only complaint was that it was too short for us! Should of stayed longer.
Apartment was clean and modern. The location was great, it was close to restaurants and bars, but far enough away, so that it was not noisy at night. The host was great and met us when we checked in.

Clint, thanks for your beautiful words! Francesco.
This place was well situated for ease of exploring the city and near to a lot of great restaurants. Francisco was very helpful when we first arrived. The place was very nice and comfy and it was great having snacks for when we first arrived. The only negative thing is that it was right on a busy intersection so there was a lot of noise but it did get quiet later at night

The host Francesco was superb. Very accomodating and a good communicator. The apartment was perfecto. It was a great size and l location. Decent sized lounge and dining, big bedroom with lovely windows and light. The kitchen and bathroom were also a good size and very clean. A great location. The parking was not easy as it’s a busy area but it’s ok once you know what to do. You can buy tickets at the post office/ticket office - not all machines work!
Overall a fab place to stay.
This property is a beautiful refuge. It had everything we needed for a few days in Palermo -- from a well-stocked kitchen to a washing machine. The apartment is gorgeous with plenty of space.
The neighborhood is really interesting. Be sure to walk around because there are treasures on every block. We found live music in the streets with dancing, amazing restaurants, and lovely bakeries and butcher shops.
Classy classic appartment in a great neighbourhood
The apartment was lovely with lots of original features. The bed was really very comfortable, with good cooking facilities. Francesco was a great host. The flat is in a brilliant location, outside the tourist hot spots, but within easy walking distance. So nice to go to the opera and have a 7 minute walk home! Thanks Francesco!
Our 2 night stay here was wonderful! Francesco was an amazing host, greeting us at check-in and check-out and making sure we had amazing recommendations for food, wine, and more. His recommendations did not disappoint! The location was quite noisy at night but that is to be expected in the middle of a bustling city so it did not affect my rating. The best parts of the apartment were the open air windows, natural light, spacious living spaces and bathroom, as well as the kind host, Francesco.

Thanks a lot Megan! You've been perfect guests! Best! Francesco.
This property was exactly as described on the VRBO site. Its location worked for us as it seemed to be in the middle - meaning that a short walk in any direction would take us to interesting sites. Also, a 7 minute walk from the Lolli train stop was very convenient for taking the train to and from the airport.
Francesco, the property owner, met us on arrival. A very warm and welcoming man who gave us many tips on how to enjoy our ten day stay in Palermo.
Many good restaurants, stores and a supermarket within a few blocks of the property. We enjoyed a few lunches at the small, friendly cafe that was directly below our apartment.
Highly recommended.

We had only a short, 2 night stay in Palermo, but Francisco’s property suited us perfectly. It’s a great central location, and though on 2 busy streets—noisy during the day—it quiets down at night. The apartment is lovely & spacious, with painted ceilings & tile floors. Also, another rarity in Sicily: an elevator! Our host, Francisco, met us at the apartment to orient us, and was friendly and available. Highly recommended!

This was a very comfortable place. It has an elevator, which is a great help with suitcases. The host provided maps and brochures. Was there to meet our late arrival and was extremely helpful and pleasant. Location: Grocery store 4 min. walk. Near 7 min. to pedestrian area- Zara, H&M etc. 14 min. walk to the Archeological Museum. An excellent restaurant just across the street, Sapurito.
Highly recommended accommodation.

Julia, Jim, thanks so much for your words and for everything! Here you'll be always welcome! Francesco.
We loved this apartment. Fantastic location- a couple of blocks away from local buses and a 24 hour supermarket. Within walking distance of the historic part - 20 to 30 minutes. Apartment was spotless and contained everything we needed. The shutters on the windows were a great buffer against a little bit of street noise and daylight if you want to sleep in. Francesco was a great host - returned messages promptly, left lots of travel info and a few goodies in the fridge. Would highly recommend.
