This place is a hidden gem! Beautiful view, private beach, clean, close to St George and Carrabelle. We will be back! We enjoyed some much needed relaxing family time to kick back and unwind. There’s some balcony chairs and beach toys there or you can use a service and they will drop off/pick up chairs, umbrellas, corn hole, spike ball, boogie boards, etc. for relatively cheap. So nice to not have to pack all that stuff. Like I said, we will definitely be back. There’s not many places like this anymore off the Florida coast.

Great location. Would stay agsin

The house was very clean and roomier than expected. Sunrise/sets beaufitul. A bit of road noise at night but woukd definitely recommend. We enjoyed the deck and beach and exploring surrounding areas. Had a great stay

Great Stay

We loved being right on the water. The home was comfortable and very clean. E could drive in to town or over to Apalachicola easily, or just relax on the beach or deck.

Relaxing - Just what we were looking for

We were looking for a quiet, private, beach front stay for myself, husband and dog. Great surises, beautiful view, and relaxing environment is what we got! Our pup enjoyed the beach!

Comfy home!

Great week at the beach

My family had a great Thanksgiving week at the beach. The location to the water was perfect for my two kids and the fact that we could bring our furbaby along too was especially appreciated. House had everything we needed and we loved it!

Quiet and enjoyed the beach

Property was great. Clean and quiet. Seen dolphins playing almost every afternoon, stingrays horseshoe crabs bald eagles flew over often. The water was calm great for my 3 year old granddaughter. Wish I would have booked for a whole week instead of 4 nights.

Carrabelle Beach House Review

Very clean and dog friendly. Beautiful view of the St. George Sound and St. George Island. If visiting in the summer, be sure to bring insect repellent for the bugs, lots of horseflies out this time of year. Shout out to the owner for allowing us to bring our dogs. They loved the beach!

Great beach property.

We loved our time here. Would definitely recommend bringing all cooking ingredients as there is nothing at the house besides. Salt and pepper. Everything else was wonderful.

Summer Getaway

The pictures do not do this property justice. It was absolutely beautiful and pristine! We saw dolphins and loved sitting out on the patio. The water is right out back and you are far enough away from neighbors that you never feel like you are interacting with others. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.

Quiet and comfortable

If you want seclusion and your own private beach, this is it. Saw 1 other person in our 4 day stay. We wanted isolation. Found it. Great place to bring your dogs and just let them romp and explore the sand and water.

Little getaway

We enjoyed staying here and loved the morning sunrise. There were a few things that disappointed us about the place. I’ll just leave it at that. I don’t know if I would stay again.

Quiet Vacation

Overall a good experience. Home is nothing fancy but, was clean and comfortable. The flies outside were a nightmare so weren’t able to really spend any time on the deck but that’s not exactly a manageable issue. AC was temperamental freezing 1st night then hot the next and couldn’t get it to adjust to their requested temperature (73).

Real Good Time 2023

Overall we loved the location, the beach, and privacy!! Area still in rebuild process from storms 5 years ago but was great for the R&R we were looking for. Home was well stocked and totally fine but in need of some TLC. Internet and TV did not work so that was a little disappointing for evenings and nights in. Will definitely keep on the list for future getaways!

Perfect week on the Forgotten Coast!

We loved our time in the beach house and on the "Forgotten Coast". The beach out front was just lovely - shallow, calm, wonderful for walks and for our grade school-aged kids to explore and play safely in. The house was spotless and recently updated. It's got a great cooking kitchen (excellent selection of pots and pans though be prepared to bring/buy ALL of your spices, etc) and we cooked fresh seafood from the market down the road on three different nights. Deck was amazing for coffee, meals, and after-dinner cocktails. Overall, just a perfect experience and we will likely stay again.

Relaxing

The house is wonderful. From the living room and the kitchen, through a wall of windows you can see the water. You can watch the amazing sunrises from the deck with your coffee. It’s only few steps to white sand and water. This is the first time we have been on vacation that our boys never said they were board or ready to go back home. They went fishing everyday and caught plenty of fish. We would definitely stay there again.
