We live in Houston (Cypress). We have two teenage kids. We all love the mountains and Estes. And especially hiking.
David and Sue Vasek purchased this House in 2009
Why David and Sue Vasek chose Estes Park
While we offer this house as a vacation rental, we really consider it our second home and try to visit it as often as we can.
What makes this House unique

A comfortable home with two separate living areas!
We enjoyed our stay at David’s and Sue’s comfortable home. It is in an older neighborhood which was very quiet during the week we visited. The home was close enough to downtown to easily come and go. We would recommend this home as a perfect base for visiting RMNP and enjoying the restaurants and shopping in Estes Park.
We were a bit concerned when there was no air conditioning but quickly learned why it wasn’t necessary once we opened up the house. Cool nights, and breezes abound! The living spaces were comfortable and ample for 3 couples. The kitchen was small but easy to work in. The outside deck and fireplace were a great bonus and yet another place to relax. The family room and living room gave us enough space that we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The views were breathtaking. Even though we were in a neighborhood, houses don’t feel like they are on top of each other, and we enjoyed the outdoor spaces. Both bathrooms were nice. The few stairs up or down weren’t large obstacles. We were able to see many deer daily, either resting in the neighbors yard or walking along the street. Our needs were sufficiently met and we enjoyed our stay.
Had a great stay.
The house is well laid out with great views.
Nice, clean, well cared for property.
Had a great stay! Owners were always responsive prior to our visit with any questions we had. Easy to find off Hwy 7 and great views from the deck.
Perfect get away spot
This quaint little home is tucked back in the mountains and has a beautiful view from the back deck. Our families enjoyed meals outside, watching wildlife, star gazing and roasting marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace. It was large enough for everyone to have their own space and had everything we needed. The table upstairs was perfect for our game nights. The house was conveniently located and we could easily access town and the National Park. Thankful for the memories we made here.
Would definitely stay again...
Our group of four women had a great time. Kitchen was stocked with needed utensils, beds quite comfortable, neighborhood very quiet and beautiful with nice views of the mountains. Owners addressed our questions immediately.
