Beautiful and calm place to relax and discover the alghero area

Very clean villa, with a beautiful terrace to sit and eat outside. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Beautiful large garden with a large pool. 5min to Alghero by car. Owners are very friendly and helpful.

Amazing. Absolutely Amazing!

What can I say, this place is paradise. It's gorgeous, it's immaculate, its comfortable, it's paradise. Quiet and secluded, but not at all isolating. Completely safe and just perfect! I stayed with my husband and three daughters 14, 11 and 8. We were incredibly comfortable and enjoyed eating in, eating out, swimming in the pool and spending the days by the beautiful sea. Luciana is an amazing, warm-hearted and incredible host. She treated us like treasured guests and went above and beyond to be helpful. She gave restaurant suggestions, helped us book our tables, but also absolutely respected our privacy. She is an amazing host and a beautiful person my family feels honored to have met. This place is a gem.

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely loved staying at Villa Josephine, the house had everything you needed. The pool was a perfect place to relax in the afternoons, and you are just a short drive to town and some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Our local contact Giusy was so helpful and even came to cook us dinner one evening. It was the best meal we had the whole time! The roads are a bit tight and unpaved getting to the house so I would not recommend a very large car or a very low car if you are renting. The listing is a bit confusing there are only 2 bathrooms one upstairs and one down. There is an extra shower in the primary bedroom upstairs but not a full bathroom, and there is an outdoor shower next to the pool.

Vi bookede opholdet gennem Vrbo hvor der stod tydeligt at der i huset er 3 toiletter (med brus/bad) samt et rum med bruser. I virkeligheden er der 2 toiletter (1 x bad 1 x brus) samt et rum med bruser. Udlejer sagde at det stod "mere rigtigt" på deres egen portal ClickSardegna men det var altså ikke der vi bookede.Der var problemer med strømforsyningen hvor vi oplevede ca. 10 strømudfald på de 7 dage - 2 gange var det eksternt problem, hvilket kan forventes i Italien - men 8-9 gange var det husets egne sikringsgrupper der faldt ud på trods af vi kun forbrugte det man normalt bruger ved madlaving. Iriterende at skulle tage forbehold for hvilke el-produkter man bruger. Køleskab/fryser kan ikke komme langt nok ned i temperatur (kan ikke justeres).Huset ligger dejligt fredeligt, men man kører de sidste 600 m til huset af en grusvej der ligner en ren punkteringsfælde for bilen. Svært at gå en tur i de nære omgivelser da man kun kan bevæge sig gennem grusvejen.Poolen ganske dejlig.Der maglede lidt småting gennem dagene men der blev reageret ganske hurtigt af det par der passer huset for ejeren.

Thank you for your review and for appreciating the peaceful location, the swimming pool and the prompt assistance provided by our local team. We would, however, like to clarify a few important points for future guests. The villa's layout is accurately described in the listing, including the bedrooms and the three bathrooms, one of which has a shower and washbasin but no toilet. This information is clearly provided in the property description. Regarding the electricity interruptions, during the summer Alghero experienced significant pressure on its electricity network due to the exceptionally high number of visitors, resulting in power outages affecting the wider area, entirely beyond our control. The villa itself has a generous 10 kW electrical supply, considerably higher than that of a typical Italian household. However, even this capacity has its limits when several high-consumption appliances are used simultaneously. We certainly understand that guests wish to enjoy every comfort during their holidays, but reasonable management of electricity consumption is necessary, even in a fully equipped luxury villa. As for the access road, the property is located in a peaceful countryside setting, and the rural surroundings are part of its charm. We are nevertheless pleased that you enjoyed the swimming pool and appreciated the responsiveness of our local team. Best regards, Mercedes – ClickSardegna

Haus mit schönes Aussenanlage

Das Haus und die Aussenanlage war schön. Die Bäder sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. - wir hatten wärend unseres Aufenthaltes mehrere Ausfälle: - Strom -Wasser (kurzweilig braunes Wasser) - Pool wurde immer wieder Grün die Ausfälle bzw. Mängel wurde aber immer umgehend durch die Hausverwalter behoben. Rundum konnten wir Sardinien genießen.

Alghero

Maison conforme aux photographies dans un lieu calme et joli dans la campagne avec un joli jardin paysager. Quelques chiens bruyants dans le voisinage…notamment la nuit. La piscine est très agréable et les propriétaires sont réactifs en cas de problème. Néanmoins, beaucoup de passage de maintenance intempestifs et sans prévenir.. Un peu plus d’équipement serait apprécié dans la cuisine. (Pas de micro-onde, pas de grille pain). Nous avons passé un bon moment, et le centre-ville et les remparts d’Alghero valent le détour. Merci aux voisins qui nous a amené des œufs frais de son poulailler. Le jeu de clés unique permettant aussi la mise en route de l’électricité et de la climatisation n’est pas opportun quand nous partageons la maison à plusieurs. Il est impossible de sortir de la maison en laissant le courant allumé pour ceux qui restent ce qui est franchement embêtant et infantilisant. Un deuxième jeu de clés nous paraîtrait plus adapté. Nous avons passé un bon séjour, malgré ces quelques petites contrariétés.

Wonderful villa, great facilities, super pool and lovely owners

We had a great stay at Villa Venere. We were a party of 10 with three generations and we all had a very enjoyable time. The kitchen facilities are great and there is plenty of outside seating. The pool was very warm and in August certainly doesn't need heating. The two bedrooms and en-suites on the ground floor are beautiful, the four on the lower ground floor are more basic but have everything you need. It is a short drive to Alghero which is a lovely town. The owners, Luciana and husband (can't remember his name sorry) were very hospitable and helpful.

GREAT VILLA WITH AN AWESOME GARDEN!!

Alghero is a great place to stay! We loved the garden everyday! Maria is such a great manager to work with & always gave us helpful info & answered any questions we had very promptly! This was our first trip to Sardinia. The Villa has anything that you could possibly need and then some. It was very clean and the beds were so comfortable!! We enjoyed the huge veranda, grilling out on the super nice patio a few nights, and the swimming pool with the awesome views! It was very peaceful & relaxing. We went to the beach every day, took a boat ride and visited Neptuno Grotto and Bosa Village. Needless to say we did not want to leave this beautiful island! You will not go wrong if you rent from Maria any of her property! Loved staying in Alghero.

beautiful and calm

Very nice place, clean, close to sea, very good equipped, outside area really big and comfortable. Really good choice for few families with kids.

Magnifique villa avec fabuleuse piscine

Villa spacieuse et avec tout le confort possible. Maison propre et neuve. Piscine magnifique, douche extérieur, ameublement luxueux. Nous avons apprécié la cuisine sous la pergola avec vue sur le jardine et même au mois d'octobre, la possibilité de prendre les repas dehors; le top! Giuseppe, notre ange gardien, avec ses bons conseils. Une région qui appelle au farniente et à une bonne gastronomie sarde! Merci encore c'était fabuleux!

An amazing, relaxing week in paradise

Wonderful family stay at Villa Venere, which is breathtakingly location. It is hard to describe the natural attraction of this villa, appointed with great care and detail, providing excellent accommodation. Indoor the rooms and decor are beautiful and detailed, and outdoors spaces well appointed and are a delight to relax or dine. We found the approach to the villa quite easy and came and went on trips daily. Giuseppe met us and also cooked two spectacular outdoor dinners. We hired a boat from Giorgio and explored both areas. Local restaurant favorite was The King in Alghero old town. The pool is generous with spectacular colors and setting.
