Beautiful ground floor ski in /out apartment. 2 mins from lift


A lovely two bedroom apartment. Refurbished to a high standard in a contemporary luxury chalet style. Two minutes walk to main 'Sairon' chair lift. 5 minutes to les esserts chair lift. 3 minutes walk to nursery slopes, kids ski school/creche and magic carpet lift. Right next to nursery slopes but tucked away in a quiet spot. Less than 3 minutes to boulangerie, restaurants,ski hire and convenience store. Ski locker included.

For the summer we have a small tiled terrace, outdoor table, BBQ and small garden area.

The best apartment we have stayed at in Les Esserts over the last 5 years. The apartment was lovely and clean and well positioned very close to the ski lift and shops. There was plenty of room for our party of six and lots of games and good amenities in the apartment. Sian was a perfect host with great communication and very helpful with things to do in the area. Very nice Christmas

We had a very nice time at your place. It has everything you need for a nice holiday in the snow. Also location wise it was very good. The apartment was very clean, good beds and plenty of space for four people.

We had a great stay in the apartment. Well equipped, positioned and clean. Siân was really helpful allowing early check in and key collection was easy. Ski locker helpful and we enjoyed the board games. Would highly recommend.

Lovely apartment, excellent location

We had a great week in the apartment, 2 children plus a dog. We loved being so close to the lifts - no need to drive. It has everything we needed, the only slight disappointment was that we never managed to get any wifi and our personal phone signals weren’t great either so we felt a bit disconnected from the outside world - but in some ways nice to be “off grid” for a short while.

Ground floor flat close to the lifts

We stayed in Morillon in mid-March and enjoyed the flat and its location. It’s very close to the ski lift that takes you up to explore wider Le Grand Massif ski area. Morillon 1100 is a small satellite village with a convience store (Sherpa mini market is not open during the winter), bakery, a few restaurants and bars. It’s very family-oriented, which suited us with a small child in tow. But if you are looking for banging night life then this village is not for you. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. Sian and Angelique communicated well before and during our stay. Would happily stay again!

Vacances d'hiver dans les Alpes

Superbe semaine passée dans cet appartement très bien localisé, au pied des pistes. Seulement quelques mètres à marcher jusqu'au casier à skis même en période de faible enneigement, c'était très appréciable ! L'appartement en lui-même a tout ce qu'il faut et, est décoré avec goût, tout était parfait !

We are a family of five who love skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and the wonderful French Alps. In 2017 we went crazy and bought our apartment in Morillon. We love this family friendly resort - with its scenic tree lined pistes - and just enough hidden powder to keep it interesting. Hope you will visit and have great holidays too.

Why they chose this property

When we first bought the apartment our children were quite young. One of the hardest part of family skiing is getting out of the door. Top priority for us was fast easy access to the lifts without lugging heavy gear or a bus ride. With our apartment we step out of the door and walk 30 metres to the lift (so only 5 mins complaining) Also love having the option to pop back for lunch and then out again for the afternoon.

Morillon and the Giffre valley is also an amazing place in summer. For me its all about the hiking up Alpine trails, past stunning waterfalls and lakes, fuelled of course by delicious French bread and cheese. For the kids - there are the outdoor swimming pools at Samoens and Les Carroz, rafting on the Giffre, mooching about on the Lac Bleu, Accrobranche, trampolining and pony trekking. And that's before we even get started on the superb mountain biking trails. Summer lifts to get you up to the peaks and well marked paths for great downhill riding.

What makes this property unique

In winter we head back to the apartment for lunch and leave our skis, boots and boards on the garden terrace before stepping in to the apartment through the patio door for a warm up and a delicious inexpensive lunch!

In summer we can eat outside or relax on the terrace and the kids can play out in the garden, head down the road for a game of tennis or go for a swim in the supervised pool.
