Situado cerca de una playa aislada cerca de Ballycotton County Cork esta tranquila y relajante casa goza de hermosas vistas al mar. El famoso paseo del acantilado Ballycotton se encuentra a pocos pasos de la puerta. La casa fue construida en 2003 para aprovechar las hermosas vistas y aprovechar al máximo la luz y el espacio. la casa está diseñada para sentirse cálida y acogedora con un ambiente que es cómodo y relajante. Hay tres hermosas habitaciones dobles con camas King Size y baños en-suite. Hay una habitación adicional con dos camas individuales. Además, hay una cuna de viaje, puerta de bebé, trona y otros equipos para bebés y niños pequeños. Ofrecemos ropa de cama 400TC, edredones de calidad, almohadas y lances acogedores para las camas. Haven from the pace of life. All the entertainment you need is through the window. A carefully thought out floor plan and comfortable furnishings made the the best version of a home from home. Das Haus war perfekt. Die Lage war perfekt. Wir hatten tolles Wetter und konnten die zwei Terrassen mit Blick auf die Bucht bestens nutzen. Eine morgens, die andere abends. Einfach toll.

Relaxation!

This home is perfect for a relaxing vacation. We took walks along the cliff walk, and several country roads. We took day trips from Kinsale to Waterford, and everywhere in between. We ate farm fresh eggs purchased from a local home a quarter mile from the house. The views of the Atlantic are stunning from the sun room! I would highly recommend for the quiet, escape from the city, vacation!

October Stay

The house and location was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was well stocked and met all of our needs and communication with the owner was great. It was our favorite stop on our vacation to the south of Ireland. Don’t miss out on the cliff walk which begins/ends right in front of the house. It was breathtaking !

Amazing home!

Loved every minute of staying in this home in the Ballycotton area. The view from most places in the house of the cliffs, the ocean, the beach were spectacular. The furniture was comfortable the beds were great, the bedding was out of this world cloud-soft comfy! I want it in my home! Highly recommend, quiet neighborhood. Lovely!

Fantastic place to stay. The house is spotless, furnished thoughtfully, and well equipped. The location is so peaceful. The owners really took time to make sure this was a great experience for any one staying in the home.

Absolutely stunning location, and incredible home!

This was a fabulous home for our family vacation! It was beautifully decorated, very comfortable, with amazing views! Our entire family loved it! The kitchen was very well equipped, and every detail was considered. Highly recommend – hope to be able to go back someday!

Bally Tranquility

My wife, daughter and I returned for our second visit to Ireland. This trip, we were accompanied with our parents who have never experienced the spell that's casted over you while your stay in Irelands countryside. Our choice to stay with Luxury Holiday Cottage by a secluded beach near Ballycotton did not disappoint. Its charm and open floor plan worked so well with space and provided all the amenities during our stay. I would suggest to anyone.

Staying in County Cork? Don't bother looking elsewhere!

Our family of five ranging in ages 17-75 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We enjoyed the easy access to the Cliff Walks and beach and the breathtaking views (I don't think anyplace else in County Cork has a view like this cottage does). We alternated rest days so we could enjoy the cottage with short day trips to Cork, Cohb, Ballylamoe Cookery School Shop & Gardens, and Ballycotton Village (try the chowder at Blackbird!). We mainly ate in (shopping for food at the Ballymaloe Cookery School shop (go early in the day for produce and fresh breads, and they have refrigerated and frozen proteins). We shopped for broader grocery items at Tesco or SuperValu in Midleton. The kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals. You do need a car to travel to this lovely cottage. We're already discussing how we might return one day!

The Perfect Getaway!

Jo is an amazing host! Beautiful home, breathtaking views, rugged and removed from the hustle and bustle of being in town. Ballycotton has good food and lively Pubs in close proximity. Polar Plunges at the private little beach, Cliff Walks and the friendly neighbors were definitely highlights of the trip! We are already planning our return visit!

Tranquil and Beautiful

A perfect lovely, bright and airy home with all the necessities provided for your stay. Each room has its own personality and all with a beautiful view. The furniture is so cute and comfortable and the bedrooms are nice and roomy. I always pack too much and I had plenty of room to spread out all my stuff:) Nice spacious family room and kitchen and cute garden area to enjoy the outside with chairs to watch the ocean, and a picnic table and bbq. Secluded but not isolated. Neighbors are around but no one will bother you and the only noise you’ll hear is the ocean. Exactly what we needed to rest and reconnect and recharge. We can’t wait to go back!!

Amazing!

If you are looking for a place that is in the middle of the action and you can take a walk to a local pub, this isn't for you. This is an amazing home off the beaten path, breath taking views and more than enough room for larger families. I couldn't be happier with this diamond in the rough.

Ballycotton

The house was fantastic in all regards and had an excellent location for short trips in the area like to Cobh. The trailhead for the Ballycotton Cliff trail is literally across the road too. Definitely check out the Sea Church restaurant in Ballycotton.

Fantastic views

We stayed here last year and enjoyed it so much that we came back again. The house is beautiful, spacious, well equipped and has fabulous views. The two downstairs bedrooms are perfect for the needs of some of our party, and the cliff path starts right beside the house. All in all it's perfect.

Spectacular Views

This home does not disappoint in comfort, amenities and views! This was our first trip to Ireland and after the excitement of Dublin, pulling up to this serene location was breathtaking. It took us a few minutes to enjoy the view before we wanted to unpack the car. Then discovering all the rooms of the house was so fun as it kept getting better with each room. The trails and the beach were so fun to explore. We didn’t leave the house for two days and then to explore the nearby towns added to the charm of the location. When I asked my family their favorite part of our trip, they all said it was their time at this house.

Just lovely

I would love to gate-keep this home, but it would be a loss for you not to experience it. Gorgeous all around, the location can not be beat, and all the quintessential Irish beauty. The drive to getting to the house, well, it’s Irish roads insanity, but after that, it’s all peace. We’re planning on making it again apart of our next Ireland vacation

Beautiful Views

Location is great when you arrive, but definitely plan ahead to bring your food and other needs. Middleton is the nearest town for shopping and if you’re not accustom to driving the roads in rural Ireland, it can seem very far away. There was plenty of detergents for dishwasher and clothes washer. Ballycotton is a small village with a world class restaurant, Cush. Blackbird is a great pub. The Cliff Walk was tough to walk. We had some wet weather and it’s quite narrow and bumpy on end nearest the house.

Most spectatular !!!!!!! The Best VRBO property

The Balleycotten cottage was spectatular . My husband and I have rented from VRBO nationally and internationally, this cottage is the most spectatular in our experience. The location , views, hiking trails over the Balleycotten cliffs are breataking. It is not only a place to "vacation" but it is a place for renewing your body and soul.The cottage is 5 star with simplicity and beautiful beach decor. The cottage is located at the "end" of the Balleycotten hiking trail and driving to it is not for the inexeprienced American driver... but the directions provided and GPS got us there and we quickly learned how to naviagate and give right away to the oncoming cars. on very narrow Irish roads. Magnificent magnificent and the near by town of Middleton, Balleycotten, and Cobh are must to tour, dine, taste the Jamison whisky, and walk the streets with magnificnet views, pastry shops, restaurants, some shoppping and lots of Irish history. A car is a must or make arrangements locally to hire a driver. We will return with our adult children ... Thank you to the hosts - It was a dream spot for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary.
