Nice stay in Berkeley Springs!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was right in town and close to all sorts of local attractions. Our stay was comfortable and we found everything we needed. The host was very communicative and easily reachable.

Clean and well organized

Place was perfect for a family wedding in the area. Everything was set up perfect upon arrival, would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Great place. Fun location, walkable to downtown. There was a lot more furniture/games in the basement than anticipated.

Very nice property. We enjoyed our stay and love the little touches thru out the home. Beds were very comfortable. Books and games galore. Loved the gumball machine. Location is good with a wonderful view of the Berkeley Castle. Only a few cons for us. We wish the property had 2 bathrooms, the floors were very squeaky but it is an older property. We wish the toilet and shower had a little more pressure. Those are only small things. We certainly would stay here again.

Girls Weekend!

We all had a great time! Location was very convenient. Loved the screened in porch. Home was cozy and beds were comfy. Suggestions - larger TV in living room, add tvs to the other 2 bedrooms, paring knives. Check in and check out.hassle free. I will be back. Thank you for a great stay!

Great views in downtown Berkley Springs

The property was perfectly located in downtown Berkley Springs. The historic Berkley Springs spa, restaurants and shops were only a few minutes walk from the house. In addition, the house is well equipped and very clean. It is almost like stepping into a time machine going back to 1960. Although the house seems a little dark, due to the large stained glass on the front living room window and the numerous walls that blocked some of the light, it was overall a very good experience.

Clean, great location

The house was very clean just old. The only complaints were that there was smell of cigarette smoke on the screened in porch area and because the chimney flue has to remain open regardless of use of fireplace the house smells of soot. We purchased some air freshener and left windows open when we first got there and that really helped but you could almost not sit in the family room the smell was so strong from the fireplace. We overall liked the place, the location was great, and it was very clean. Just wish some updates were done to not make it such a fragile place like replace things instead of taping back together, throw away the extremely old throw pillows, change the batteries in the remotes so they work.

Holiday Break

The house was clean and well maintained. Our only hiccup was a heating issue which was fixed quickly. The technician was friendly and professional. We hope to stay again!

Great for family escape from the city

Between the very walkable small town, basement filled with games, and generally cozy atmosphere of the home and Berkeley Springs, we had a great escape from the city for some quiet family time.
