Comfortable 1 bedroomed apartment, pool, restaurant in village on eco-farm.

This beautiful holiday apartment is one of 4 in the grounds of a working farm with absolutely stunning views located in the tiny historical village of Silico. The farm is run in the traditional Garfagnana way.

The owners offer their guests lots of produce from the farm and guests are invited to take tomatoes from the garden.

There are 2 electric mountain bikes available for the guests to hire.

The house has been restored from a barn. The structure and interior have been designed with a rustic finish.

The kitchen is well equipped. A washing machine is also available.

Outside there is a patio with table and loungers. The apartment boasts panoramic view of the dramatic Apuane Mountains. There is a wood oven and a BBQ in the garden.

There's g good children's playground has been created in the garden with a Flying Fox.

This is an amazing location with outstanding views from the swimiming poo.

We loved staying here. The views from the pool were outstanding and we were surrounded by beautifull chestnut forrests,with some lovely easy walking. It is in a small working farm with sheep, goats and chickens. The owner gave us free eggs and homemade wine. We stayed in the appartment named Buffardello which was well equipped except there were only 2 mediocre wine glasses despite there being a big dishwasher. We thought the decor was dull and could do with being refreshed.The bed was a good size and comfortable. The owners were really friendly and they had a very friendly dog.The nearby village was a beautiful hilltop medieval one with a good cafe/restaurant and a little shop. It was easy to walk to. To do a proper shop it was a bit of a trek to the local town as the accommodation is located at 700 metres up a road with lots of hairpins. We did some of the local walks all of which were in the forrest and also some hill walking further a field.It is easy to visit Barga and other local towns. Our apartment sitting out area was a bit disappointing as it did not have any spectacular views. It was adjacent to the road which luckily is not a busy one. We noted that some of the other apartments did have the great views and also were furnished in a much more pleasing way. The pool was a great size and we had it to ourselves alot of the time. We loved this place but with some improvements to the accommodation it could be amazing. We would heartily recommend it but try and get one of the better appointed and furnished apartments.

knusse vakantie appartement

het appartement is klein, maar knus. Een klein tafeltje voor bij de bank om je kopje op te zetten zou fijn zijn, maar uiteindelijk zit je meer buiten dan binnen dus niet een heel groot gemis. Het bed was zeer goed. Het zwembad heerlijk en het uitzicht prachtig! Zitjes en ligbedden ingedeeld per appartement dus geen gezeur met gauw handdoeken neerleggen of iets dergelijks. Overigens was er ondanks dat alle appartementen bezet waren genoeg tijden dat je het zwembad voor je zelf had wat ik als een geweldige luxe ervaarde. En ook weer gezellig als er andere gasten waren. Nadia en Bruno zijn zeer aardig en behulpzaam, helaas konden we niet persoonlijk gedag zeggen, maar alsnog bedankt voor een fijne vakantie en de goede zorgen!!

Erholsame Ferien mitten in der Toskana

Die Ferienwohnung ist super schön gelegen, in einem kleinen ruhigen Dorf mit einer fantastischen Aussicht auf die Berge. Die Ausstattung ist exzellent, man findet alles, was man braucht und es ist sehr sauber. Leider war unser Appartment etwas dunkel, ansonsten gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Es gibt auch einen Grill und man kann schön draußen sitzen. Das Schwimmen im Infinity Pool ist ein Traum, nur könnte die Wassertemperatur etwas wärmer sein. Es ist von Vorteil, die italienische Sprache ein bisschen zu beherrschen, sonst ist man hier ein wenig aufgeschmissen :)

Fantastic location and an amazing property with breathtaking views. We were personally greeted by Laura and her family, even though they had waited patiently for us for over an hour after our estimated arrival time... Brilliant service! The whole Il Collettino experience is just fabulous... That infinity pool is incredible, the ability to integrate with the working farm location and to help yourselves to freshly laid eggs, tomatoes and fresh herbs was great... Thank you too for the amazing fresh fruit basket and home produced wine which was a lovely touch...

Tranquil and relaxing holiday at Il Colletino.

We will definitely return to this property. The hosts were most welcoming and the flat clean, comfortable and well equipped. The pool is lovely with spectacular views . A great restaurant is just a walk away with a small shop too.

We work hard to match you with accommodation and the local amenities to suit your specific needs. All the houses and owners are known personally to us and our knowledge of the area comes from first-hand experience of spending time there ourselves over a thirty year period.

Il Colletino is a working farm with fabulous views of the Apian alps. There is a fantastic pool on the property as well as an adventure playground.

The property is in the village of Silico, a tiny medieval village dating back to the 12th century with impressive buildings.
The village holds several festivals each year and the local outdoor activities company has mapped out the surrounding land for easy walking.

The Garfagnana region is still largely undiscovered and we have set out to ensure that visitors can access the best of the area. It is sometimes known as ‘Puccini’s Enchanted Land’ in reference to the stunning scenery, delicious food and friendliness of the people as loved by Giacomo Puccini, the Italian opera composer.
