🌿 DESCRIPTION – CASA MISTICA

Casa Mistica is a recently renovated villa (April 2025), set in a quiet and relaxing hillside location near Lucca, surrounded by greenery and offering beautiful views over the Tuscan countryside.
The house, garden and swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the guests, with no shared spaces.

The property is bright and ideal for outdoor living, enjoying sunlight from sunrise to sunset.

The villa is arranged on one level and furnished with great care and charm in traditional Tuscan style.

Outside you will find a large panoramic patio with table and chairs, ideal for outdoor meals, as well as a barbecue.
The private garden also features an outdoor shower.

At about 20–30 metres from the house, there is a private swimming pool for exclusive use, irregular in shape (approx. 4 × 3 m) with massage water jets.
The pool has a maximum depth of approx. 80 cm and is designed for relaxation and wellbeing, not for swimming.

Casa Mistica is located about 500 metres from the village of San Martino in Freddana, where you will find a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, pizzerias, delicatessen, butcher, bakery, café, tobacconist, hairdresser, mechanic, dry cleaner and newsagent.

🌿 Serbacco Natural Park

At the bottom of the hill lies the Serbacco Natural Park, a charming and peaceful place where farm animals live, including ponies, Tibetan goats, turtles, geese, guinea fowl and chickens.
Inside the park you will find wooden games, traditional games, old carriages and a puppet theatre, very popular with both children and adults.
The park is open to the public, with higher attendance at weekends, while still maintaining a relaxed atmosphere.

Great holidays

The house was exactly as described on the website, really nice, great for our family. Mimicha was a great host helping us when we needed. And Toscana is a great region. You can do a lot of things from Casa Mistica (Lucca, Grotta del vento, canyon adventure, ...), the further was Firenze, less than 1 hour.

Enjoyable Place with Family

We really liked the place. Both the children and our dog really enjoyed the stay. The house is not huge but in the summer we spent most of the time in the garden or the terrace anyway. The house has good ac. The kitchen is small but sufficient. The host and the staff in the park where the house is located are very friendly and kind. The host was also very responsive and helpful.

Lovely Place to Stay - Mistica in Lucca.

Mimi was quick to respond to any queries we had. Lovely property, clean, comfy, & private. Loved the little gift of pastries in the morning, our welcome gifts, & snacks, along with a pack of washing liquid etc. Excellent shower. Comfy beds, plenty of wardrobe space with hangers. If you want to visit a quaint bakery/coffee shop in Lucca as recommended by Mimi “Pane e Marmellata”is a must, ( find it on google) Coffee, cakes, lunch, wine all delicious . Would definitely recommend & if in the area again would definitely be staying at Mistica. A car is a must.

Quirky yet very special

Set inside a visitor park, at first we were disappointed by the location. It is actually behind private property signs in its own area (better fencing and signage would improve it). It is quiet (especially during the week) and with gorgeous views. The pool is a few strides from the house, rather than attached, but is pleasant and unusual. The owner was very kind and friendly and could not be more helpful - it is very welcoming. We had a fantastic stay, thank you.

Das Haus war nicht sauber und geputzt. In der Dusche im Ablauf waren noch Haare vom Vorgänger. Genauso auf dem Boden und im Bett . Der Pool war nicht sauber und das Haus im ganzen sehr dunkel und ungemütlich. Keine Heizung und sehr kalt.Die Gastgeberin antwortete sehr zögerlich . Wir mussten früher abreisen und haben keinen Kontakt zur Gastgeberin das sie nicht als Telefon ging. Das Haus liegt in einem Kinderpark wo das ganze Wochenende Musik läuft . Im Park gibt es unzählige Stechmücken so das man nicht mal gemütlich am Pool oder der Terrasse sitzen konnte ohne verstochen zu werden . Es ist eine starke Stechmückenplage im ganzen Areal. Das einzig positive war das , dass Haus eingezäunt war für Hunde ideal . Die Dame am Empfang unten im Park war sehr nett , spricht aber nur italienisch. Die Gastgeberin war nur bei der Schlüsselübergabe kurz zu sehen als wir aus krankheitsbedingten Gründen früher abreisen mussten hat sie gleich per Mail mitgeteilt das wir kein Geld zurück bekommen und war nicht mehr erreichbar. Für diesen Preis war der Urlaub eine abzoge und nicht zu empfehlen. Betten sehr unbequem und im Oktober sehr kalt.

Fantastischer Urlaub

dieser Urlaub war einer der schönsten und erholsamsten Urlaube die wir je hatten. Die Vermieterin war super nett und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Wir waren mit unserer Schäferhündin Quinny verreist. Es war überhaupt kein Problem wir haben uns gleich willkommen gefühlt. Das Ferienhaus war mit allem ausgestattet was wir brauchten. Die Umgebung war traumhaft, wir haben in einem Ferien-und Märchenpark mit verschiedenen Tieren gewohnt, die Parkbesitzer waren sehr nett. Wir werden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen. Wir können es weiterempfehlen.

Außen hui und innen na, ja

Das Ferienhaus liegt in den Bergen, nur wenige Fahrminuten von Lucca entfernt. Nach Viareggio benötigt man aber ca. 40 Minuten, obwohl die Entfernung nicht so groß ist. Was besonders auffiel war die Tatsache, dass die Wolken oft in den Bergen hingen. Es regnete im Juni gar nicht so selten. Anders in Viareggio am Meer, da schien zum gleichen Zeitpunkt die Sonne. Das Grundstück ist super schön. Unser Vierbeiner hatte beim Ballspielen die hellste Freude. Die gesamte Anlage hat uns äußerlich sehr gefallen. Was uns weniger gefiel, war die Inneneinrichtung. Der Fußboden war zum Teil beschädigt. Die Möbel haben auch schon bessere Zeiten erlebt. Insbesondere die Schlafzimmerschränke fielen fast auseinander. Der TV ist von der Größe ein Witz, seitlich und daher schlecht platziert. Da wir das aus den anderen Rezensionen wussten, haben wir unseren eigenen TV nebst Fire Stick mitgebracht. Wir hatten auch unsere Fahrräder mitgenommen. Eine Freude machte es nicht in der Umgebung zu fahren. Für uns Flachlandbewohner waren die Strecken „Rund um St. Martino in Freddana“ entweder zu steil oder zu Verkehrs belastet. Für klassische Wanderrouten bot sich die Gegend auch nicht an. Was positiv war, war der Supermarkt. Den konnte man fußläufig gut erreichen. Wer also - die Ruhe sucht, - seinen Vierbeiner mitnehmen möchte, - auf eine supermoderne Einrichtung verzichten kann - die Wetterbedingungen in den Bergen nicht fürchtet ist hier genau richtig.

Ideal für Leute, die Ruhe genießen wollen und Hund/Kind gut aufgehoben sind

Das kleine idyllische Häuschen hat alles was man braucht. Es ist abgelegen, jedoch durch den Kinder/Tierpark ein Erlebnis für Kinder und Hunde. Der Supermarkt ist in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Die Einrichtung ist einfach und zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Außenanlage ist absolut herrlich und nicht einsehbar. Die Mitarbeiter des Parks sind äußerst freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Vermieterin ist ebenfalls immer erreichbar und beantwortet Fragen sehr schnell und ist sehr angenehm.

Ferienparadies insbesondere auch für Kinder

Ein wunderbares Haus mit toller Terrasse. Es liegt am Rande des Parkes. Wir würden es besonders für Familie mit Kindern bis 12 Jahre empfehlen, da der Park ein Paradies für Kinder ist. Sehr angeneme Eigentümer.

Feines, kleines, abgelegenes Haus mit herrlichem kleinen Pool

Wir waren 3 Wochen zu 4 Erwachsenen dort und hatten eine sehr schöne, ruhige und erholsame Zeit. Für uns hat aktuell alles perfekt gepasst. Die gezeigten Fotos stimmen zwar überein, sind aber bereits vor einiger Zeit aufgenommen worden. Der Aussentisch mit bequemen Stühlen ist inzwischen deutlich schöner, so auch das neue Schlaf-Sofa im Wohnzimmer. Die Schlafzimmer sind wirklich kleiner als sie auf den Fotos wirken. Das Ganze ist bereits etwas in die Jahre gekommen, ein paar Renovierungsarbeiten sind notwendig (z.B. die Aussendusche, Moskitonetze ...) - wobei wir davon ausgehen, dass diese nun nach Corona durchgeführt werden - Sehr faire Vermieterin, die sehr gut und zügig kommuniziert - Mimi war immer sehr freundlich und hat umgehend reagiert, sehr netter Kontakt! - der Ort bietet nicht wirklich viel, zum Flanieren o.Ä. eignet er sich nicht, eine Eisdiele oder Pizzeria gibt es dort auch nicht mehr - sehr empfehlenswert sind die Strandbesuche - das Personal, das Essen etc. dort ist sehr angenehm - TV ist tatsächlich super klein .... - auf der Wiese kann man sehr gut Federball spielen, Zubehör liegt in der Holzbank - Sonntags liegen Überraschungs-Croissants bereit - sehr schön! - die Sache mit dem bekocht werden hatte ich missverstanden - in den 3 Wochen hat es bei und einmal geklappt, dass wir ein selbst gekochtes Essen bekommen konnten (das war allerdings sehr lecker!!), falls da jemand Interesse hat (so wie wir es hatten) bitte unbedingt vorher genau abklären! - Es werden Zauberveranstaltungen angeboten (gegen Gebühr!), die wir aber nur bedingt empfehlen, da diese vollständig auf Italienisch stattfinden und darüber hinaus nur gerade 15 Minuten dauern, es folgt ein Kasperletheater komplett auf italienisch, das von den meisten Zuschauern verlassen wurde (auch von den italienischen). - Gegend geeignet für "Profi" Radfahrer Insgesamt ist die Lage sehr interessant, man kann wirklich viel besichtigen. Camaiore hat uns sehr gut gefallen, auch in Pietrasanta kann man schön Essen oder Einkaufen. Barga ist sehr schön! Lucca natürlich sowieso. Das Ambiente des Hauses ist sehr geschmackvoll und man hat alles, was man braucht.

Perfect stay for a couple exploring the region

The property is as you see it in the pictures and description. Nearby is a carrefour where you can get everything. Ideal for exploring Lucca, Pisa, Versilia (Fortei di Marmo, Viareggio), Collodi, Bagna di Lucca, Borgo, ... Marina di Pisa and the beaches further to Tirrenia are worth a visit. If you can make it, Pistoa is worth a visit. Check my citywalks on on the website routeyou, they are rated 5 stars.

Einzigartig und speziell

Die Lage im, bzw. beim Park ist wirklich einzigartig und die Zufahrt zum Haus speziell, da sie durch diesen hindurchführt. Ist aber kein Problem, sondern lustig. Die gesamte Belegschaft war extrem freundlich und aufgestellt. Das Haus war sehr sauber und hatte wirklich alles was man benötigt. Die Klimaanlage, welche wir zuerst belächelten, war Gold wert und es war toll, dass die Räume auf ein erträglieches Mass herunter gekühlt werden konnten. Das Grundstück war eingezäunt und unsere beiden Hunde fühlten sich rundum wohl. Zu guter letzt: Der Pool eignet sich perfekt um sich abzukühlen. Fazit: Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und können Mistica mit seiner Crew guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Erholsamer Toskana Urlaub

Kleines, sehr gemütliches Häuschen auf großem Grundstück mit kleinem Privatpoolzum wohlfühlen. Sehr nette Gastgeber. Unkomplizierte Übergabe. Lage am oberen Rand des Naturparks der auch von der Gastgeberfamilie betrieben wird, jedoch ist es trotzdem sehr ruhig und schön. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Sehr schönes Wohnen im Park

Gelungener Urlaub in einer parkähnlichen sehr schönen Landschaft. Das Haus steht idyllisch und passt sich wunderbar in die Landschaft ein. Im Haus fühlt man sich sofort wohl. Tolles Feriendomizil!

Alles super! Schönes Haus in einer parkähnlichen Umgebung. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall das Strandzelt am Lido di Camaiore zu reservieren... die Küche der Strandbar ist der absolute Hammer und der Strand an sich wunderschön.

Ein gutes Haus.

Wir haben uns gut erholt in diesem Haus. Es war alles vorhanden. Mit Internet hatten wir abends Probleme. Ansonsten war alles perfekt. Eine sehr nette Inhaberin. In der Nähe gab es eine gelateria, das Eis war himmlisch lecker. Empfehlenswert. Sehr schöne Gegend, nicht weit von Lucca, PISA. Ca Eine Stunde mit Auto bis Florenz. Bis zum Meer eine halbe Stunde.

This Holiday House belongs to my parents from 1998 .My father restored it few years ago, when I had a degree in literature and Languages in Pisa. It was my dream have contacts with foreign people and practice languages every day.

Why they chose this property

I ‘m so interested to other cultures and I like dealing with people from all over the world. My other passion is cooking, that’s why I organize Tuscan meals and cooking class for my guests. It is a nice experience to taste home-made flavors and preparations. I live quite next the house, this area means a lot for me, here are my origins. I was born here and grew here, I travelled a lot but this is my place, I know its products and the uses of my earth and with my job I’d like to express what really this earth is : its hills, perfumes, green, special food and traditions.

What makes this property unique

This property is the place to know “my” region. Here is a strategic point to have a global view of Tuscany : Arts( Lucca, Florence, Pisa, Siena and all other cities) Beach(Versilia beachside with all his comforts) Mountains ( Abetone )Foods and wine tasting (Garfagnana, Chianti) or just relax and activities( the property has private swimming pool and tennis and golf course) . These are just some example of what our place offers. That means : one hour to reach whatever you are looking for in Tuscany. Enjoy your stay!
