What a great place in a great location to reach the National Parks. Joan makes sure you have everything you need for your stay and such a comfortable home. We absolutely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Such a quiet area of town but so close to stores and restaurants.

Comfortable stay

Loved this place! It was very clean and the location was perfect for what I needed. The host was very friendly and accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again and don't think you can find better for the price.

Great place to stay!!!

Mom’s place is lovely and comfortable. We would choose to stay there again. Host is super attentive.

We visited both Zion and Grand Canyon North Rim during our stay and the drive was ok. Highly recommend.

Great stay at Mom’s Place

One of the most comfortable VRBO stays! The house was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable and the house was stocked with everything a guest would need. The location was both quiet and conveniently close to town. If ur looking for a comfortable homey feel, this is the place!

One of my best VRBO stays

I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals & this was one of the best. Perfect location equidistant to Zion, Bryce & Grand Canyon. Tons of literature in the home about all there is to do in the area. Loved being able to set my own memorable door lock code to get in. Great accommodation: 2 bedrooms, 2 sitting rooms, 2 bathrooms, big dining table, etc. and a very responsive & lovely hostess! Highly recommend!

Beautiful property - beautiful location

This was an absolutely beautiful home - so beautifully decorated. The owners are very kind and made certain we had all that we needed for our stay. It was so comfortable, and we felt at home. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Wanted to stay longer!

We loved this house and location! The house was lovely, the beds were very comfortable, and the location was great! We loved being greeted by beautiful red cliffs every time we left the neighborhood to begin our next adventure. We would stay here again without a moment of hesitation!

A Home Away From Home

We loved staying at "Mom's Place". Not only was it beautifully decorated, but also comfy and cozy. Our three day stay allowed us to visited all three National Parks in the area, which were only a little over an hour away. Located in a very nice area with a grocery store nearby was great!

Cleanest vrbo I've ever stayed at

If I could give it extra stars for cleanliness, I would. This house is extremely well taken care of and is fully stocked with everything you need. This was our second time staying here and I'd recommend it to anyone.

This is the place to stay! Very clean and spacious, located in a very quiet neighborhood. Kanab is a nice town. We enjoyed visiting Zion and Bryce National Parks, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Glen Canyon Dam, Horseshoe Bend, the Best Friends Animal Society and coming back each day to relax in this wonderful home. It's close to the Grand Canyon as well (unfortunately it was closed during our visit due to a fire). Stop at Sugar Daddy's in town for ice cream. (Delicious and you get a good portion) At night, you can sit outside and admire the many stars. The host is very friendly and gave us a few trip ideas. If ever we get back to Utah, this will be our go to place. Highly recommend.

I have lived in the area since 1978 but am originally from Oakland, California. I instantly
fell in love with Southern Utah! The landscape is like nowhere on earth and the sky is so
blue you'll wonder if it's real! I love the outdoors and always have. I love gardening,
hiking, walking the dogs and rockhounding. If you're a rockhound this is the place for you!
My husband and I love riding our motorcycle through Zion National Park! I worked for many years in drug and alcohol prevention education and now am part-owner in the local pet store.
We'd love to have you stay at Mom's and we can guide you to all the out-of-the-way
places nearby.

Mom's Place is actually that - my Mom's House. She moved next door to us from Walnut
Creek, CA in 2006 after my Dad died. She moved all her lovely furniture and belongings
into this charming single story home. We were very lucky to have her here for ten years
before she passed away last year. Kanab is a much safer place to live than California!

You'll love the layout of the home. First, everything is wheelchair accessible. The
livingroom/diningroom is light and spacious. The master bedroom has a "retreat" room
which we use as a TV/sitting area. You can sit on the front porch and enjoy the quiet
with views of the Vermillion cliffs.
