Welcome to the Cambie Village area! Our heritage, character style home sits on a quiet, neighbour friendly, tree lined street. This gem has recently been fully renovated, boasts restaurant quality kitchen appliances and is designer decorated with all amenities that a spectacular home should have. This 1,500 sq ft, 3 bedroom home is in the heart of Vancouver's coveted Cambie neighbourhood. Our home sleeps up to 8 people, with two queen size beds, two twin beds, and a new, quality deluxe sleeper sofa bed. All beds have exclusive hotel quality mattresses.

Just a 3 1/2 block walk to King Edward Skytrain Station, on The Canada Line which comes from YVR Airport, down the Cambie Corridor, all the way to Vancouver’s downtown. The Vancouver Convention Centre is the last stop on the way.

A short 2 minute walk to local stores, many ethnic eateries, funky watering holes, and unique boutique retail shops awaits you in this trendy area of Cambie Village.

If you want to catch a movie, within walking distance is The Park movie theatre, a local favorite in the neighbourhood.

We are located close to BC Woman's, Children's Hospital, and Vancouver General Hospital - all within walking distance or less than a 5 minute drive. The house is centrally located 1 block to Cambie Street & 4 blocks to the King Edward Skytrain station, which gets you into downtown Vancouver in 5 minutes. Heading the opposite direction, the Canada Line Skytrain will take you to the airport in 15 minutes.

Located within a 5 minute walk is the famous Queen Elizabeth Park. This 52-hectare park is a major tourist attraction for locals and tourists alike, drawing in people from around the world to visit the spectacular views of the park, the city, and the North Shore mountains. Walk thru the landscaped quarry garden, view the stunning water fountains, enjoy a picnic on the grass or experience the Bloedel Conservatory. You can also enjoy the many recreational activities such as tennis, lawn bowling and pitch & putt golf. From November - April you will find the Nat Bailey farmers market each Saturday from 10:00am-2:00pm. About Suzanne

We have lived in the Cambie/Main Str area for 16 years and chose this area because it is in a trendy neighbourhood close to schools, the famous Queen Elizabeth Park, the new Hillcrest community centre built for the 2010 Olympic curling,, many restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores within walking distance, yet only a 5 minute drive to the downtown core, or going south you would get to the airport in 10-15 minutes.

We have a young family and enjoy all the amenities that our community and Vancouver has to offer.

Why Suzanne chose East Side

Our home is very centrally located 1 block to Cambie Street & 4 blocks to the King Edward Skytrain station, which gets you downtown going north in 3 stops or 5 minutes. Going south the Canada Line Skytrain will take you straight to the airport in 10-15 minutes.

4:00 pm checkin, 10:00am check out. (There may be a $50/hr fee for every hour you're over the check out time if we haven't prearranged an alternate time) Quiet time in our home is from 10pm to 8am out of respect for the other neighbours. Please be respectful of tenants living below. If you want daily or weekly maid service we can arrange that for an extra charge. Bring your own beach towels and beach blankets if you`re coming during the summer. You are welcome to use the umbrella and Vancouver guides and maps during your visit, but please return them before checking out so other guests can use them, or you may be charged a replacement fee. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Our house is outfitted with recycling and composting bins.

Great Vancouver House

My family (wife, son - 9, daughter - 4) stayed at this house for 5 weeks and could not have been any happier. We have used VRBO for multiple long term vacations in the past and this house was one of our favorite.

The location cannot be beat as you are walking distance to the train which will get you around Vancouver and only a short walk to Main Street which has all the restaurants you could ask for. As well, it's a short 30 minute drive to get to North Vancouver and the hiking trails.

The house is perfect and in a great neighborhood - Suzanne is great to deal with (we had some minor issues that were resolved within a days time).

I highly recommend this location to all Vancouver visitors.

Fabulous stay in Cambie!

We (3 couples) stayed at this 3 bedroom Cambie home for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The home has been completely redone and is very attractive & comfortable. We enjoyed the Cambie neighborhood. Close by, we were able to walk and find groceries, a bank to exchange our US dollars, restaurants, etc. Vancouver is a very walkable city. We were only 4 blocks from the SkyTrain which can connect you to all of Vancouver. All in all, we had a great time. If we should find ourselves back in Vancouver we would definitely stay at this Cambie home again!

Fantastic Vancouver Home!

We had a group of 8 people staying over in Vancouver for a few days. This place was perfect for us! We had no car, so we really appreciated having so many good restaurants and stores within walking distance. It is also a quick easy walk to either the nearest bus stop or the nearest Skytrain station, so we had no problem getting around to see all that we wanted to see.

The house itself was super clean and in excellent condition. The owners have everything you need right at your fingertips from umbrellas to guidebooks. The beds (including the sofa bed) were very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and blankets for everyone. The owners are also very friendly and super responsive to calls, texts, and emails.

I would most definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to this beautiful city!

Great location for your Vancouver trip

We really enjoyed our brief stay in Vancouver, and were delighted to rent this house off of Cambie.

The location is fabulous. Very close to the Skytrain, and able to get to Canada Place in less than 30 minutes. Granville Island is about 2 miles away-- close enough for a long walk or (as my husband I did) a lovely evening run.

Suzanne is the property manager for the place and she met us in person and made sure we were comfortable. She even checked in via email half way through our stay, just to see how we were doing . (We were fine).

The house is cute and very clean. Perfect for our family of four (though it could accommodate more people than that). The living room included a big fat binder filled with all the great things to do in Vancouver (our favorites were visiting Stanley Park at dusk and the Capsilano suspension bridge).

There was some construction going in the backyard, so you may want to check before renting if that is still continuing. The construction crew were very polite and got started at a reasonable hour, so they weren't a problem for us.

We would love to return to Vancouver and wouldn't hesitate renting this house again.

Susanne was a great agent who worked with us so we could store our bags as our train arrived early!

A true 3 bedroom home with comfortable beds

Easy access to public transportation (5 min walk to Canada air trains...6 min ride to downtown Waterfront)

Upgraded bathroom and kitchen

Safe and clean residential area

Major/full service store with-in 15 mins walking

Organic store with-in 5mins of walking.

Didn't need a car as we used public transportation everywhere from Grouse Mountain, to Downtown and event to the Amtrak Station.

Our favorite restaurant was Mahony & Sons on Canada Place (at Water front air train exit) next to where the cruise ships dock

Favorite activity was the zip line package at Grouse Mountain


(Although there are some cons listed....they are very minor and would not stop us from recomending or renting this house again.)

Wood floors throughout the house that are original so they squeak a little loud

Sometimes we could hear the persons music that lived in the basement level.

There was construction going on in the back yard as they are building another unit in back. Wasn't a huge issue as we were out and about most of the time.

The owner and property managers are not liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses or loss of personal belongings or valuables incurred by you or your guests while staying on the property.
We also request a contact address and phone number of the guest booking and confirmation of how many guests will be staying.

A late checkout fee of $50 per each hour and portion of hour past the 10:00am checkout time will be charged.
